Louise Bourgeois by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another release in the Little People, Big Dreams series, which I have reviewed frequently on here. I just love these little books. They are always packed with facts about the person who they are writing about and full of colourful illustrations throughout.

This book is about Louise Bourgeois was a little girl, her mother died. She learned to express her feelings through drawing—and when she grew up, she turned these drawings into sculpture, confronting her own fears through art. This moving book features stylish and quirky illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of the artist's life.

I found this little book full of easy to read, with great Illustrations throughout this small book.
It's one you should definitely buy for your little readers so they can learn about this wonderful artist.

I am so glad these books are being published and I highly recommend all of these books

Many thanks to Frances Lincoln Children’s Books and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I hadn’t heard of Louise Bourgeois before reading but as I love this book series, I knew she would be inspirational. I certainly wasn’t wrong! My daughter and I were fascinated learning about how Louise’s grief influenced her artwork and led to her making such an impression in the art world. A must read - very interesting.

Louise Bourgeois by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara.

This is my third book from the series "Little People Big Dreams". Like all other, in the series, this is also a graphical biography. It narrates the story of French-American artist Louise Joséphine Bourgeois best known for her large-scale sculpture. The illustrations are very nice and good to go with the story.

Thanks to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children's Books for this e-ARC

An intriguing insight into Louise Bourgeois's childhood and what inspired her art! Her spider sculptures, whilst unsettling, are a fantastic metaphor for sad feelings and difficult times.

A beautifully illustrated story for children about a lesser known female pioneer of the art world. This book has beautifully colourful illustrations. This is the perfect gift for a little person or art fan in your life.
