The kind of heart-wrenching tale that grips said heart in a vise grip from the get-go and doesn't let up until the very last page! This one read very easy and it flowed nicely - I read the English translation and I can only imagine the beauty of the words in the original French. It was poignant, dramatic, heart-wrenching - in short, drama at its best! Really enjoyed this one throughout

I enjoyed The I Was Meant to Live a lot! If I remember correctly, I requested the copy through Netgalley because of the beautiful cover but the story really spoke to me.

The novel speaks of changes, life, family, secrets, second chances and a little bit of romance – and most of it happens in the beautiful streets of Paris!

It was an easy and really beautiful read!

An absolutely beautiful and uplifting novel about the power of love we all have within us. The bond between the sisters that were unaware of each other’s existence is the focal point of this wonderful drama. Highly recommended!
