I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Oh, I do love this series and then the very last line of the book sealed it for me! My heart was so happy! It has made me get all excited for the next book - I can't wait!

I loved the use of a film set being used as a "murder" sight this time! I say it, because yes there is death, but it's done so light-heartedly. We sadly, sorrynotsorry, don't focus on the dead person but the living, the suspects and the blossoming romances...because that is what a cosy nosey mystery is about - the family, friends and the romance, with some detective work thrown in!

Every time I read a Jodie book, I know she will make me laugh and smile a lot! As I have said before she is written in such a way that you could be having a conversation down the pub with her. The narrator of the audiobook is just spot on with her accents and she is perfect for the job! She creates such infectious enthusiasm for the characters that you can't help but just want to sit there and listen to the entirety of the book in one go.

Jodie, Nathan and Tony are my happy place. I would love a Tony in my life, and well a Nathan wouldn't go amiss. But Jodie could easily be someone I was friends with, hunting down the clues. Although, I do love how Jodie ends up getting involved in all these mysteries. How she does it, I will never know!!!

I couldn't work it out this time, and when we discovered what happened - well it seemed very poignant with some characters and quite sad too. I can't really say what I want to say as it might spoil it! But it's very fitting for a time a few years ago.

I can't wait for the next book and adventure. They are a ray of sunshine and such a joy to read or listen to!

Love this author. Love this series. Loved this book. It's funny and intriguing, well-paced and kept me guessing to the end. You cannot go wrong with a Fiona Leitch book - they're fast reads, but not fluffy.

Who could resist a cozy mystery where the main character is a former policewoman named Nosey Parker? Definitely not me!!! A very good story, third in the series, that will have you looking for the clues right along with Ms Nosey and her excellent friends and family.

I love Jodie Parker! She's funny and smart and really enjoyable to read about - she has a great supporting cast of characters around her and this mystery - set around the filming of a seemingly-cursed movie - is exciting and full of twists and turns. Can't wait to read the next one in the series!

I really enjoyed this well written book. A really page-turner with snappy dialogue and great characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for allowing me to read a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this cozy and I liked it better than the second book of the series. The protagonist is hilarious with her snarky comebacks and the mystery had me guessing right up until the killer was revealed. Overall, a fun read.

I think this is my favourite of the series so far, I was completely hooked on this one.

Well there is the continuation of the storyline as to who Jodie may end up with, given she clearly fancies Nathan but best friend Tony clearly has designs on Jodie. If you have been reading the series so far you will be delighted to hear there is a resolution to this in this book, but there is no way I am ever going to tell you.

After all i love Nathan and Tony!

Ah Jodie, the ultimate Nosey Parker, who yet again seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and thus can't help but coming involved in a new mystery as it appears someone is determined to de-rail the movie that is being filmed in town.

And Jodie who was only on set to be an extra, ends up running the catering van and doing some detecting on the side. Well it's good to see that Nathan has more or less accepted that she is going to want to investigate and includes her in various conversations.

I had a very strong inkling as to who was causing the sabotage and their motivations. And for most of the story my own theory held up, so I was completely delighted to discover I was completely and utterly wrong, and what was written was even better than anything I could come up with. So probably a good thing I'm not an author or a detective!

This is a fabulous cosy mystery and I look forward to seeing what's next for these characters. Each book seems to be getting better and better which is something I like to see in a series, and even though I have read a lot of books between me reading A Brush with Death and this it really only took a few pages to feel back at home with the characters.

Thoroughly enjoyable mystery.

Thank you to One More Chapter and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

I absolutely loved this cozy mystery! I adore Fiona's writing style, it flows wonderfully, makes you laugh and you feel like are you there with the characters. This whodunnit is lively, fun and engaging.and with plenty of twists and turns kept me guessing all the way through. And if that isn't enough, the will they wont they romance scenes between the lead and the two men in her life are so well done. Brilliant.

Nosey Parker couldn't help herself. She was at it again. This was a fast, fun read which I could finish in a couple of hours. The plot was easily guessable, but the prose kept me searching for the motive.

Another fab read in this cosy mystery series with twists and turns and laugh-out-loud humour. I went along for the ride, enjoying the side characters as much as ever and wondering where the romantic sub-plot would take us. Leitch has given us such a fun cast of characters and reading their exchanges is as enjoyable as the mystery itself. Don't miss this series!

Fiona Leitch does ‘cozy’ so very well. I have read all the books in the Nosy Parker series to date and loved them. They are consistently funny, well plotted, with gorgeous Cornish scenery, a death or two and some sleuthing. You don’t have to have read the previous two books to pick up “A Sprinkle of Sabotage’, but why miss out on the previous two books and the wondrous chemistry brewing between the main characters with a teaser of a will they won’t they story line.
The story begins with the arrival of a film crew in town and they want to recruit locals as extras. Even better would be film stars will be paid..Jodie needs the money so signs up alongside her very wonderful daughter, Molly, and her very amusing Mother. As the filming begins locals and film stars alike are dismayed to find a saboteur at work, or is the film cursed? The gorgeous local DCI, Nathan, makes his own appearance on set and, aided by Jodie who is now doing the catering (cue further gorgeous food and recipes) they set about finding the culprit. And then one of the stars dies….
If you have read previous books in this series you will be delighted to find the same wonderful concoction of humour and sleuthing, the same cast of rather lovely characters, and the same formula which makes these books so engaging. The humour is rather wicked and frequently made me laugh out loud and I have just become so familiar with Jodie’s little family I feel at home. And the continuing love interest between Jodie and Nathan, or is it Jodie and Tony continues to fizz…A very enjoyable and entertaining read. With thanks to Netgalley and One More Chapter for a digital copy of this book.

This is book #3 in this series - but I haven’t read #1 or #2... good news is I didn’t need to to be able to enjoy this!

A film crew sets up base at Penvarrow House - and then things start to go wrong! Is the set cursed? Do they have to stop the production?!

Jodie is a marvellously recognisable character, as a single mum and love interest she is a funny, sarcastic and incredibly loveable character from our readers perspective.

The story was cleverly managed, the clues as they peeled through and I found myself fully engrossed in each new theory!

Marvellous read, looking forward to more from Jodie & Nathan; partners in crime!

Thanks for this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I adore this series. Jodie 'Nosey' Parker is not your normal detective - she's a divorced, baking mum of one who has moved back to her childhood area after her husband cheated on her. Nearly always having her daughter, mother and dog in tow, she always seems to end up in the thick of it.

The previous book left a potential love triangle vibe going on after Jodie's disastrous dalliance with one of the suspects and it was interesting to see how the author built on it in this book. On one side there's Tony, her childhood best friend, first boyfriend and someone who has always been there for her - she isn't sure how she should feel about him because he's like a brother to her but there is always that little flutter.

On the other side is Nathan, the investigating police officer. He and Jodie did not get on at all when they first met but now get on really well and he now allows her to help him on his cases. I am definitely Team Nathan but it is interesting to see how the author resolved the issue of the two men - let's just say one potential romantic partnership definitely won't be happening (although not for want of trying!).

I read this within a day, it is a fast paced fun read and I love the characters and I definitely cannot wait to read more in the series. A new firm favourite for sure.

I have loved following the adventures of Jodie 'nosey' Parker since I first picked up the deliciously written first book. And I will be honest, I preferred book 3 to book 2, even though nothing big happened, Jodie's funny and confident personality stole the show from the start. And that is hard to do when theres a movie being filmed in town.

I really enjoyed the lasted adventure, the movie set with a string of bad luck and a coppers instinct on too many coincidences. It was funny, it was light hearted and most of all, it was entertaining. It was an easy read and a story that will live on even if the production doesn't. This is perfect for anyone who wants crime but something that pairs well with cake and coffee. I think that is why inhave enjoyed cozy crime so much.

This is the third in The Nosey Parker Mysteries Series. I enjoyed the first but the opportunity to catch up with much loved characters made this one even better. I just love the family dynamic between the three generations of Parker women and the will they/won't they romance between Jodie and DCI Withers. I also knew what to expect this time because this is exactly as described on the cover "a cozy mystery". There's no clues to solve, no twists and turns, no darkness nor disturbing elements - it's a light-hearted, fun, comedic murder mystery and I loved it!
