After reading this sampler, I cannot wait for A Vow So Bold and Deadly to be published in January 2021! I think this is one of my most anticipated releases of 2021. The sampler offers four chapters, each told from Grey, Harper, Lia Maria and Rhen's perspective, and I just want more! These chapters didn't disappoint me whatsoever, and in fact, it has made me even more excited to get my hands on the finished book! This trilogy is really an undiscovered gem, and I'm looking forward to what Brigid Kemmerer writes next in this genre.

I do love how this series is about a brewing war, but the author has built the characters up so well that I'm not actually sure which side I'm rooting for! This sampler is frustrating in that it provides a taste of the third book but stops just as things are getting good! Roll on January!

Just read the NetGalley arc sampler of this book. Oh wow! I’ve never been so desperate to read more! I contains the first chapters from each main character- Grey, Rhen, Harper and Lia Mara. I loved it! I remembered how much I adore this story and just how invested I feel in these characters-  Each of them at emotional and interesting crossroads. 
Even the sampler ends with a shocking cliffhanger! Whaaaaat!  I just can’t for the full book.

Now I am even more excited for 2021 after reading this sampler!
It felt so good to be plunged right back into Emberfall and pick-up the story after the events of the previous book. And chapters 1, 2, 3 and... 9 - are you trying to torture us Bloomsbury?! This was a great way to introduce all four characters again and reconnect with the plot - I'm so excited to find out how this series ends! The countdown to January 12th begins!

A Vow So Bold And Deadly is one of my most anticipated reads for 2021 so I was very excited to get my hands on this sampler.. it did not disappoint! 

I love that it has all four points of view in it and that cliff hanger!!! I am more excited than ever to get my hands on a copy! In fact I’m heading straight off to preorder it right now!

This is such a good start to the third book!! I'm hooked and am in desperate need of the finished copy immediately! I love this series so much, it's such a twist on the traditional fairytale of Beauty and the Beast and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves ACOTAR by Sarah J Maas or the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer!

I love the 4 POV's, it's really interesting to see the two sides to this impending war. The characters who started out as the 'heroes' are now much more morally grey. When I finished A Curse So Dark and Lonely I didn't anticipate where this series was going, and I'm so happy with where it's gone because it's different, better and more complex than what I expected.

The conclusion to the Curse breaker series has all the promise for a thrilling finale with all the adventure and tension of the previous novels. The sampler is a great snippet into what's in store, and I'm desperate for January to hurry around so I can rejoin Rhen and Harper.

I have been looking forward to the publication of this book since finishing A Heart So Fierce and Broken.

I didn't read chapter nine, in case of any spoilers of the 5 chapters missing in between. However, the chapters I have read were short and sweet, Rhen still feels like a completely different person from the last two books, and Grey still remains my favourite character to read from POV wise. 

With the war closing in, everyone is supposed to be preparing. Supposed to be. And Harper and Grey are fighting with their own minds about not going with her brother and announcing a war against his. 

Even after reading this sampler, I am still quite looking forward to the full book and ending the trilogy.

A Vow So Bold and Deadly is one of my highly anticipated books for 2021, and I was lucky to receive a sample from the publisher and have a taste of what's to come. I can definitely say it hooked me from the first chapter. This third book in the series is told from multiple POV's and that makes it even more interesting because we'll get to experience a deeper connection with all the major players in this story. I am so excited to read more and January can't come soon enough!

Oh my gosh! Even though this is only 4 chapters of the book, they are so good and make me want to read the book now! Sadly i have to wait till January to find out what happens next!

This is the third book in the series. I imagine it will be about war and magic, if chapter 9 is anything to go by!

The author writes in such a fast paced, gripping way. I was hooked from the first sentence!!!

Ooo what a wicked, wicked way to end the sample! It has done its job though, I cannot wait to see what happened and what happens next! I love these characters. My copy has been on preorder for awhile and I cannot wait for it to arrive!! Roll on January!

I had mixed feelings about A Heart So Fixed and Broken, very passionate, ranty feelings to be exact. The characters just acted so, well, out of character, Grey was keeping secrets (it still makes no sense to me), Rhen was cruel and Harper goes along with it. It felt like so much of what I loved about the 1st book got taken apart and Rhen and Harper were given the briefest POV, which was most frustrating, and instead we got new character Lia Mara.
From this snippet it appears that A Vow So Bold And Deadly carries on straight from book 2, with a
Rhen and Grey set to battle, however the book is broken into multiple POVs, giving Grey, Lia Mara and best of all, Rhen and Harper, their own viewpoints! These last 2 really deserved better In book 2 so I have Hugh hopes for finally get print to understand what Rhen is really going through and so help me, Harper needs to be kind to him!!!

I am so excited for this book to come out, I love that it has all four points of view in it and already the cliffhanger from the sampler has increased the suspense for the full book!

I requested this sample without knowing anything about the series except the plot, and I was curious to see if this could've been something for me. I'm glad to report that yes, it was brilliant, and I will buy the previous instalments before this one will be out!

I was lucky enough to receive a sample from the publisher and now I hate that I don’t have the complete length novel because it concluded when it was becoming more interesting! 

It’s a continuation of the first two volumes in the series, and the mystical scene is becoming more mysterious and whimsical. There are characters that will discover new skills and powers and the journey to what the futures reserves is as appealing as always.

This is a short sampler from the third book in the Cursebreakers trilogy, A Vow so Bold and Deadly. We get the first chapter from the POV of each of our main protagonists, Grey, Rhen, Harper and Lia Mara (note: these are not the first four chapters of the book, just each character's first chapter).

Reading this, I am reminded of how far this story has evolved. It is a long way from the Beauty and the Beast reimagining that was Book 1 and it has truly become its own fantasy story with magic, battles and political intrigue. In this sampler, we get to see where each of our main characters finds themselves in the aftermath of the events in book 2. Just this brief glimpse was enough to remind me of all the trials and challenges facing these 4 and whet my appetite to get back into the world of Emberfall as quickly as possible. With war looming and friends and family being pitted against each other, this book looks like it will be full of twists and turns as well as heartbreak along the way and I am very much looking forward to reading the conclusion of this drama.

I would definitely recommend readers of YA fantasy to use the time between now and January (when this book is published) to catch up on books 1 and 2 (A Curse so Dark and Lonely and A Heart so Fierce and Broken) so you are ready for Book 3.

Before reading this sampler, I was already so excited to read the final book in this series, but now I am even more excited and I need this book right now. 

I can’t wait for ‘A Vow So Bold and Deadly’ to be released so I can finally read it. This series is just so good!!

How can the sample end here!! I need to know what happens next!

From the first scene alone, i already felt like i had been transported back to Emberfall, and it was so nice to read about these characters again. I'm not sure what i'll do once i've finished this series, (probably reread the whole thing straight after!), but i can't wait to have this 3rd book in my hands!! Just look at that cover! And i'm so pleased that all the covers and titles match in this series (another small joy!)

You can see that stakes are pretty high in this book, there's the pressure of a war between Emberfall and Syhl Shallow, and there's also conflict between some of the characters (cough cough Harper and Rhen). I'm so glad that all 4 four of our main characters (Harper, Rhen, Grey and Lia Mara) have been given perspectives in this book, because i think it'll just add to the tension of the whole story!

I am so beyond excited for January, I can’t wait to read the whole book! 
The excerpt neatly brings us up to speed with the events that occurred during the previous two books as well as giving us a glimpse of what has occurred between AHSFAB and AVSBAD. One things for sure, if thats how the book has started then I absolutely CANNOT wait to experience the rest! One of the things I love most about this book is Harper, how she once saw her Cerebral Palsy as a weakness but accepted it and embraced it, all the while being fierce and strong. I can’t wait to see how she develops!
