This one took a bit for me to read, it was slow in parts in my opinion. The characters were pretty good, Sanjay was by far my favorite. I vote for him to have his own spinoff book!

Cute story!! I was surprised at how much I liked this book! Its not my normal read but it had intrigue , lots of action, some suspense and was really funny! It was pretty low on the steam but still worth reading, it really was a great little read! I highly recommend it! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

I don't know how to describe this book exactly and it is not bad but is extremely bizarre. The whole CIA and terrorism attack for me was so unreal. However, this part is what makes it unique.
I have the time of my life reading it because all seem hilarious for me.
Phoebe was just too much for everything but I love her either way and I really like Chase so I wanted to see much more of them as a couple.
Moreover, there were parts that lost my interest (Lars POV) because I MEAN the whole terrorism thing was NUTS!

I really looking forward for the next part (not bc of the CIA/police thing) but to know better Chase and Phoebe <3

I absolutely loved this book! It has everything; humour, romance, intrigue and car chases. It was such a well balanced book that is so gripping it caused me a sleepless night trying to finish it in one sitting until I finally succumbed to sleep, only to pick back up where I left off as soon as I woke up. I loved Phoebe and the way she just made friends with everyone and was like a dog with a bone about whom she suspected to be criminals. I noticed there is a 2nd book in this series expected hopefully soon so I'm going to be keeping my eyes pealed for it as I enjoyed this one so much. Just as an guide for anyone looking to read this, there were no sex scenes (though it was alluded to), no expletives, and minimal violence really, despite the storyline so it's safe for any age of reader

How cute! I love mystery romances so this story fulfilled my need for that. First time reading Kay's books, thank you to Kay and looking forward to more from this series.

Unfortunately this book was not for me. I think I have come to realize that romance books that involve an element of suspense & mystery are not my thing. This book in particular had a decent set up and I was curious to see where it would go, but then I never connected with the main characters. Chase was not a swoony male lead! I wanted more from this book, but it fell a little flat & became predictable.
