Really enjoyed this book. A great tale of online love and what it's really like. Very timely and very funny.

I will read more Sophie Ranald. This book is what goes on today. Trying to find loved online and all the hassle that goes on. It had funny moments. Enjoyed this

I'm going to need more Sophie Ranald in my life after finishing this book. I read it in a day, just couldn't put it down. It's the funniest book I've read in a long, long time. Some serious laugh out loud moments, Zoe's disastrous dates making me both laugh and cringe, but some of them were scarily accurate. I fell a little bit in love with Adam and being the animal lover that I am, Frazzle was my favourite character. It's the ideal read for the age of online dating and I'd recommend it to anybody who loves chick lit.

I found this book to just be okay. Before I knew it, I was halfway through the book still thinking it was “just ok”. There didn’t seem to be much character development and I struggled getting into the plot.

Zoe is lonely and missing her ex. Though she finds fulfillment in her job cooking at a pub and loves her cat and friends, she fears she will never find a long lasting meaningful relationship. Guided by an astrology app, Zoe sets off to date someone from every zodiac sign starting with the least compatible to her own. Often disastrous, always funny, Zoe's experiment will make you laugh and cringe but will it help her find true love?

Sophie Ranald's, Thank you , Next, has a cute premise but lags in pace at times. Also this book need a trigger warning for some descriptions of sexual violence in a side story involving Zoe's friend, a bit out of place in this mostly light hearted rom com.

Overall enjoyable but a bit slow.

I really enjoyed this read! It was full of fun, humour and a bit of drama, which all add up to a great storyline.

Zoe certainly hasn't had the easiest of ride in the dating world, and each one seems slightly worse than the last. I really liked that this wasn't a story with an obvious ending from the start, and it did keep you guessing to the very end as to who Zoe would find her happy ending with.

This was a light hearted, easy read romance that I enjoyed.

I enjoyed this easy read. While I hate the term chick lit, I would say that it was definitely female/romance perfect!

Oh goodness, the cringe is real with this book. Seriously, Zoe has some really horrible and cringy moments. I would not want to have to enter that dating pool.. 😬🙈

I am a sucker for animals so Frazzle stole my heart.

This was a light-hearted read. I am more grateful than ever that I am not single, as the dating pool can apparently be quite scary, but definitely entertaining. There were some funny moments and touching moments in this book, but I was honestly expecting a bit more humor throughout.

If you have experience of online dating, this book, will definitely have you reflecting back onto those horror dates! Zoe’s experiences on these dates sounded very familiar to what it discussed between the girls when comparing dates.
In comparison to other Sophie Ranald books I did find this one lacking a bit something but I still enjoyed it as a book you don’t need to concentrate on.

This book introduces us to Zoe, vegan chef who lives above the pub she works in with her cat Frazzle. Anxious but tired of singleton life, Zoe hits the dating scene with a different approach - dating by star sign. She unfortunately has one disastrous date after another, before eventually meeting her first more serious love interest Jude accidentally, when he helps her up from a fall in the road during an environmental protest!

I felt the plot and setting was an interesting backdrop for this story but overall I was quite disappointed by it.

Our protagonist Zoe is a confusing character, it seems she used to date her boss' boyfriend and tried to steal him back which conflicts for me with her portrayal as an animal loving friend to the environment and all. She's confident in her kitchen, but insecure in the rest of her life and quite a pushover at times, then strong enough to help her friend escape a toxic relationship whilst judging her along the way. She wasn't very likeable which was a bit of a shame.

I wanted more about the other characters as well as they did not feel fleshed out enough to stand as strong characters on their own or contribute to our understanding of our protagonist Zoe. Then we have Adam who is actually a very interesting character, but not one we get to know that much about.

It almost felt like it would have been better as a multi perspective plot, to avoid exploration of characters and their encounters through rushed dialogue. The plot really didn't advance very much until 70% in and then felt very rushed.

There were some funny moments but unfortunately this one just didn't do it for me.

OMG, that first chapter! So funny! It really draws you in and keeps you there. Following Zoe's search for love via a dating app, whilst taking heed of an astrology app was hilarious.

Yet underneath the humour there is a more serious strand to this novel, one that involved being taken for granted, and in the case of her friend, control and intimidation. There are some sex scenes, so this book maybe not for everyone, but they aren't gratuitous and do add to the story.

And of course, the journey to finding the one is never smooth, as Zoe's search shows.

this one was very cute, it was a perfect read for the mood i was in! it was relatable sometimes and i just love when i can see myself in small moments working a character or their actions!

This woman is really out here deciding whether to date a guy based on their zodiac sign?! I mean each to their own I guess but I felt like it was focused on quite a lot at the start when as the story continued it didn't factor into the overall narrative that much? The writing was good and the story interesting, I just wish there was more focusing on Adam and Zoe rather than the unsuccessful dates she went on as I thought their relationship was incredibly sweet and would have loved more about it!

Such a fun premise for a romance novel! I found myself frustrated and annoyed by the main character, Zoe, at times, and it made this book a little hard to connect with because her bad decisions were just *so* bad, so I had a hard time fully immersing myself in the novel. A fun read, though!

Thank You, Next was such a fun read and I flew through it. I quite enjoyed the concept of the story. However, it also didn’t completely wow me and it just wasn’t very memorable.

I have really struggled with whether to review this book or not as I haven’t actually finished it. I really like Sophie Ranald’s books and have read a lot of them in the past. This one follows on from Just Staying and focuses on Zoe who in Just saying was the ex girlfriend trying to win back Joe from his current girlfriend Alice, who also happened to be Zoe’s boss. Zoe has made her peace with Alice and Joe being together and is moving on, unfortunately it seems the dating world is not what it once was.

Cue lots of stories of Zoe trying to find the one using what has to be the most illogical thought process, she is going to date someone from each sign of the zodiac! I managed to read through a couple of the dates before giving up and if I am truly honest I think I struggled because I don’t really like Zoe and I don’t particularly care if she meets someone or not.

Now before you think I am a horrible person, my reasons for not liking Zoe is due to how horrible she was in Just Saying. Going after someone else’s partner when he is clearly in love with her is wrong, the fact that you are living with said couple and work for one of the parts just makes it a triple YOU SHOULD NOT GO THERE.

This meant that coming into reading this book I have zero sympathy for the fact she is on her own. Do I think its good that she is getting over Joe and moving on, absoluately. Do I want to read about her finding her happy ever after – not really.

I also found some of the dates too ridiculous to comprehend. I know I have been out of the dating world for a while, but if this is a sample of what dating is really like now a days I am surprised anyone gets together.

So sorry Sophie, I really love your books but this one for me was not a winner.

No matter what Zoe does or who she meets her dates simply do not work out. Dating for Zoe proves to be one disaster after another. Zoe decides to take online dating to a whole new level, and that is by using a horoscope dating app to find the perfect man.

Her series of dates were interesting, to say the least. Just one example: a date where she was serenaded then treated abominably when she told the guy she wasn't interested. Next. Next. Next. One zodiac guided date after another leads to bigger and bigger disasters. However, Zoe refuses to give up. There has to be the right guy out there. Somewhere.

Zoe's number one confidant is good friend and employee Robbie. Bouncing scenarios and ideas off of him, Zoe is determined to find the right man, no matter how many duds she runs into along the way.

This quick read by Sophie Ranald was an enjoyable read, easily devoured in one sitting. To imagine people going through what Zoe did in this book was indeed cringeworthy at times, but love is something most people want. For this book to be considered humor was a bit of a stretch to me because Zoe's disappointment was more than palpable.

Zoe's job as a chef and her friendship with Robbie were nice aspects of this book. There were some very serious moments in this book, especially concerning another friend of Zoe's, Dani. Finally, I especially loved the fact that Zoe did seem to zone in on the right guy, despite the uncertainty she faced. Watching her travel the ride from internet dating to true love was quite enjoyable to read.

I thought this was a decent novel, and I may have read it when I wasn't completely in the mood for Contemporary romantic comedy.

Zoe has no luck finding "the one", so she decides to take her romantic life toward a Tinder like app. Her main source of finding romance is through a Zodiac Star App, and she decides to date a guy from each Zodiac sign in order to find her perfect match. Unfortunately, she is met with many pictures of body parts she didn't want to see until she met the guy in person.

The first half of the book deals with Zoe's many mishaps with the incorrect Zodiac sign. Some were hilarious, and some were downright cringe worthy. I felt sorry for her, but I also just wanted her to put herself out there and not focus on zodiac signs. The last half of the book Zoe is trying to make the relationship she gets into work, whether it is the correct relationship or not. I feel like she was ready to settle down with the man who most closely met her criteria. I kept reading to see if she was able to eventually find "the one" that leads to complete and true happiness.

This was a good strong read that became tedious at times, because Zoe can sometimes be annoying. Aren't we all annoying at times though? I'd recommend if you're looking for a fast, funny romantic comedy.

This was a cute book, with a happy ending, but I don’t think there was anything super special about it. The characters were okay & the story was okay but there just wasn’t anything that I absolutely loved.
