Thank you to Netgalley and bookouture for allowing me to review this book.

I found this book quite a slow read but once I was into it I really enjoyed it. I liked how the story came together and how every part of the story was already built up throughout the book. I found some of the book extremely amusing, come on, who hasnt had a dick pic sent to them 🤣 it certainly wouldn’t persuade me to want to date 🙈.

I found Zoe a very likeable character but would of liked to of known more about the characters who were in the background too. I would of liked to of known more about Adam and who he was. I think the importance of Dani’s situation was overshadowed by everything else in the book although it was extremely important.

Overall I would rate this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Look out for this book being released on the 30th November 2020.

This. Book. Is. Perfect!

I was 100% hooked by Thank You, Next by the second paragraph, and when I finished reading it late at night (because I couldn't put it down) I immediately searched for more books by Sophie Ranald and have no regrets about the money I'll be spending buying up her collection because it will be money well spent if the rest of her books are as charming.

I think I loved everything about Thank You, Next, including the huge sense of relief I felt at having my own steady Happily Ever After, because Zoe's struggles to find her HEA were awkward and cringey and so very REAL that when she and her man finally get it all figured out my sense of rightness was once again restored.

Keeping this short, because I have my next Sophie Ranald all queued up!

I found this book very easily read, and it grasped my attention from the first page.
I loved how it was relevant to today, and the dating apps for both boys and girls, I loved how it touched on the male dating male aspect as it isn't spoke of alot.
I loved the who's star sign idea, this is something that would intrigue me.
The book overall was very good and one I would recommend to friends as a light read.
Thankyou for allowing me to read in exchange for an honest review

Now on to the good stuff! Thank You, Next was a super easy read that was also extremely relatable for me. Zoe is similar to me in so many ways. She has a cat, is vegan, and enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons. Plus she has some crazy experiences with online dating (totally been there). Zoe’s stories actually made me laugh out loud a couple of times, especially when her best friend Dani chimes in. I haven’t read the first book in the series but I don’t think that takes away from the story.

While trying to get over her ex, Joe, Zoe decides to start an online dating account to date through the zodiac. She is on a quest to date a man of each star sign to see just how compatible they really are. Will Zoe be able to find the man of her dreams by looking to the stars?

This book made me realize just how lucky I am to not have to date anymore. Zoe’s journey through online dating is a fair representation of how a lot of people date in this day and therefore I believe it would be extremely relatable for a wide variety of people. I always find romance books somewhat predictable and Thank You, Next is no exception, but that doesn’t take away from the story for me.

I was hoping to be able to see more of the main romance but given that Zoe and the main love interest don’t get together until the last chapter or two you only get a small glimpse. Here’s hoping for another book in this series so we can see a little more into their relationship! I would love to see a new book with Dani as the main character with some more glimpses into Zoe’s life.

📱Young woman seeks compatible zodiac match thru Tinder? What could go wrong?😕!

4.5🌟stars💘
I thought the zodiac romantic compatibility part of the plot was good and out of the ordinary for the well-used app dating disasters trope. Lead character Zoe's dating misses are amusing (for the reader at least) and her promising connections are realistically hit or miss. She makes mistakes, sure, holding on way past the glow to one guy, cutting off another promising match with her impulsive comments. Yes, her mistakes are a bit annoying but maybe that's also the reason I connected with this twenty-something pub chef. She's flawed, not always at her best, but trying: JUST LIKE ME!

I have not yet read author Sophie Ranald's previous novel which included Zoe and therefore had no preconceived prejudice about her vis a vis Alice and Joe's romance. I think I am glad I entered this story blind.

Ultimately, this is a good, entertaining, whimsical and lite- to medium-heat romance with some excellent female bonding included for good measure. Zoe's friendship with fellow gym rat Dani is unselfish and supportive. And I loved Zoe's ginger cat Frazzle and Zoe's extreme concern for all animals as evidenced by her commitment to a vegan lifestyle and her touching care for a traumatized baby bird. She's admirably dedicated but not preachy about it.

Thanks to publishers Bookouture and NetGalley for providing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

In Sophie Ranald's book, "Thank You, Next", Zoe is looking for a new man but is increasingly unhappy with the guys she's meeting online. So she decides to include her infinity for horoscopes and zodiac signs into her search for a man. Along the way, she has various funny yet unfortunate dates. Maybe she will find out that the perfect guy is closer than she expects?

I enjoyed the relationship between Zoe and her best friend than I did Zoe's relationship with her final guy. I wish there had been more chemistry and less crude, sexual scenes. Overall, it was an okay book. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Oh my goodness! This one had me rolling. Too real for single women these days on dating apps! I loved the characters and had a constant smile pasted on. I can’t wait to read more by Sophie!

This romance novel had me laughing out loud many times. All I can say is I’m glad I don’t have to deal with online dating! And that I didn’t have to, back in the pre-internet world when I was Zoe’s age. Zoe is looking for love and, as she’s a fan of an astrology app, she decides to try finding the perfect guy, one zodiac sign at a time. Her dating adventures were quite varied but they didn’t accomplish what she hoped for. The book takes a more “traditional” turn for a romance novel around the middle of the book, when she meets someone in the course of her work as a chef at a London pub, who I immediately suspected would turn out to be The One for Zoe. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it. For Americans, there was a lot of English slang to slog through, but you could mostly figure out the meanings by the context, so it wasn’t really a problem, more like an enhancement to the setting of the book. I also learned more about Dungeons and Dragons than I ever did while my oldest son was a teenager and obsessed with the game, which the author made sound very intriguing! The other characters in the book were very well drawn, especially fellow cook Robbie to gym buddy Dani. (Warning: Dani has something dangerous happen to her in the course of the book.)

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read an advance readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This was a fun and light read. I loved the story and the characters. I did think it could have had a bit more humour.

Trigger warning: mental and physical abuse, blackmailing

We all have been in a situation when we were fantasizing about the person we were about to meet, and we made up stories in our head... and we all wished the ground to swallow us and make us disappear, in the moment we saw our potential date. Because deep down we immediately knew this is never going to work with him, so the whole date gets awkward and terrible.

Zoë is one of us, who goes through all of this. I really loved the style of the book, it is an easy read and humorous. You feel like you are sitting with Zoë in a pub and just girl-chatting and gossiping about the terrible dates you have been through. I laughed out loud many times while reading her story.

I definitely recommend this book if you like romance based novels with a lot of humor in it. If you had some terrible dates, downloaded a dating app or received (unasked) pictures you will definitely find your soul sister in Zoë.

Even though it is a funny story and an easy read, it also covers topics such as emotional and physical abuse. Shows how difficult a break-up can be and how you can become a victim of blackmailing.

It was my first book from Sophie Ranald, but definitely not my last. Thank you for providing me this book, I really loved it.

Zoe is in her late twenties, and single. Very single. Her Sous Chef at the pub where she works convinced her to create a tinder profile. To make it even more of a challenge, Zoe decides the follow advice from her astrology app, and date her way through the different star signs. What ensues is exactly what you expect from tinder dates, with hilarious stories for Zoe to recount to her friends. In typical chick lit fashion, there is a happy ending.

I found this a really easy read, and just what I was needing. I did find Zoe frustrating at times; especially with some of the relationships she had, and thought a few of the characters could have been fleshed out a little more. However, if you are looking for a light, easy, feel good read, I definitely recommend this!

A fun romantic comedy.

Zoe is single and has not had much luck with dating. She really has had some awful experiences then her friend who believes in horoscopes thinks she should work her way though the zodiac.
What has she got to lose?

A funny, lighthearted easy read that makes me glad I’m in a relationship :)

This book left me exhausted. Between the horrible "dating" experiences that make me wanna stay single forever and the D&D talk that gave me flashbacks of Tumblr in 2010 circa, this book makes me want to just embrace the single cat lady mood.
This one fun and easy read and i do admit i skimmed a little some parts overall it was an entertaining book.

I loved ‘Thank You, Next’. Sophie Ranald writes brilliantly, and this is the perfect follow-up to ‘Just Saying’. It brings so much life to the character of Zoe, and it is heartwarming.

While the ending is predictable, I didn’t mind one bit because the journey to get there was perfect. It was funny, shocking, touched on sensitive subjects, and above all, the story was immersive.

‘Thank You, Next’ is the perfect book for fans of Ranald, as well as those that love Beth O’Leary. I would recommend this to my friends.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with this ARC to review!

This was a casual read for me and oh so amusing. Zoe's disasters in dating make me so thankful that I am not single anymore. I remember the days of disastrous dates and unsolicited dick pics on all the dating apps after reading this book. Zoe's dates were all hilarious, despite being cringy at times. What made me happy about this book is that Zoe learns more about herself throughout it as she dates different men and discusses her experiences.

I feel like the plot could have been executed a little better and that the humor could have been more fleshed out, but I did really enjoy this read. I recommend it!

Thank you, Next follows the same pattern as Just Saying with the romance taking the backseat, and the focus being more on the development of the character, Zoe, who earlier featured in Just Saying. It was nice to meet the recurring characters as part of Ginger Cat with the whole DnD scenario being the set up. Enter Adam, the tech nerd and dungeon master, who seems aloof at first but as the story progresses, shows depth. I would have liked more interactions between Zoe and Adam to build their relationship rather than the many ruined dates of Zoe. The comic factor of the book was quirky and entertaining and was one reason which carried the book.
It was a fun read that was paced perfectly by Sophie Ranald. Thank you yo Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The book resolved around star signs and connected these to dating specifically. As a 'non star sign believer' for me this part of the story was quite distracting. I also struggled to be 'behind' the main character as she came across quite unlikable and whiney. I totally understand dating in a tinder world and the struggles and comedy that can come from that, but this read felt a bit too negative and repetitive for me. I did like the back and forth and flow of the book as it was easy to follow and connect with.

Thank You, Next is a sweet, romantic tale that has an okay first half and a pretty decent second half. I think, maybe, there was just one too many things occurring in the book. The story line might have been stronger if the astrology angle wasn't there ( I know that it is a main plot point in the book but it seems like it was added on after the book was written). Nevertheless, fans of modern British romances will certainly enjoy this book.

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Thank You, Next by Sophie Ranald is a contemporary romance currently scheduled for release on November 30 2020. Seriously, why do guys on dating apps think I want a picture of what’s in their pants? I could open an art gallery with the collection I’ve got. Zoe really doesn’t want to die alone and surrounded by cats. But it’s not looking good: she’s had sex precisely twice in the last year, and her feline friend isn’t the kind of male company she wants in bed. Her top dating disasters include: the guy who kissed her hand, took out a violin and serenaded her in public, the guy who force-fed her oysters (she can confirm that they’re not an aphrodisiac), the guy who was so hungover he turned up with his t-shirt on inside out, sweating sambuca, and the guy who brought his actual kid on a dinner date. And don’t even get her started on the dick pics, or how on earth you’re supposed to know whether a total stranger is an axe murderer or not. Zoe's ready to give up on the search for love, until her friend has an idea. Robbie lives by his horoscope, and he’s sure she’s got this dating stuff all wrong. He dares her to work her way through the zodiac until she finds The One. Usually Zoe would laugh at such a suggestion, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Thank You, Next is a romance that I have mixed feelings about. I liked some aspects a lot. The secondary characters and friendships in the book were very well done. I liked the community around Zoe, and some of the conversations and situations were very well done. There were moments of the story I greatly enjoyed, and I think the ending was well thought out and executed. However, I thought the story was a little meandering. Chapter one is the details of a bad date, that actually happens in the middle of the book time-line wise. Chapter two is the start of setting up the actual story and secondary characters. It just felt a little awkward and stilted for me. I know life often gets jumbled up, and we make bad choices and things go awry- which is often what makes for a good story. However, I felt like Zoe was a doormat and there is little to no information or development on partner in finding a happy ending. He does not even make an appearance until about a third into the book, and even then there is no real information about him, how he feels, or what he is thinking. For me it is the main characters getting to know each other and overcoming something together that really makes a book stand out, in this case it was more about Zoe finding herself and less about the actual relationship. This is something that other readers really look for, but rather missed the mark for me.

Thank You, Next is about one woman figuring out who she is and what she wants, and having some interesting moments along the way.
