Well written with plenty of substance, I enjoyed this book about taking responsibility for your own life.

Many thanks to NetGalley and to the publisher for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review.

This book found interesting in the author's history and development but wasn't so keen on the self help part of the book as it was off putting but not really into self-help books.

This is a great book which will take you on an adventure of your lifetime and will bring you back feeling good about yourself and with many goals to work on!

This book is a combination of a self-help book and autobiography written by Nelson Tressler. It takes us on a journey of his life explaining why he is in the Unlucky Sperm Club, what it has meant for his life including his childhood and how he has made the most out of his life and how your circumstances do not limit you if you don't let them but instead could be the fuel you need to live the best life possible and to be your best self. From reading this book I can say it has made me honoured to be a member of the Unlucky Sperm Club myself.

I like this book because it makes those people who have a membership in the unlucky sperm club proud to be a member. If you are a member of the Unlucky Sperm Club, you may be unhappy about your circumstances and may be under the assumption that there are things you cannot do, however, this book will tell you otherwise. Each chapter looks at one big event which happened during the financial crisis and interweaved in each chapter is the story of Tressler's life and how hard he has had it; but also how he never gave up and always kept going. Tressler also shares what he has done to help him achieve his goals and how this can also help you and me achieve our goals. It will show you no matter how bad you believe your life is there is always hope. If you are reading this book, it is likely because you are in this exclusive club and what is so great about the book os that the author is in the same club and so writes about his experience and knows exactly what it is like to be in this club and so offers a range of support for us. This was a truly gripping book.

I am pleased to say that I can not think of any criticism for this book, it was exciting and insightful and made me want to just keep reading. This book has also helped me with my situations and I cannot recommend this book enough; especially to those who are in this club. I think this is one of the best books I have read this year and it has been a privilege to read it.

I would rate this book 5 stars and this is a big achievement because I save my five-star reviews for the best books out there and I am pleased to say that I think this book is one of the best books out there. This book has lots of potentials and I hope many people read this book over the next few years so they too can get the message that anything is possible. As mentioned above, it is especially good how the author is writing about something he is familiar about which means this book is written by a member of the unlucky sperm club to other members of this club.

Finally, I would like to finish by saying a big thank you to Net Galley and T48 Publishing for giving me exclusive access to this outstanding book in return for an honest book review. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book; I have fully enjoyed reading it and it has helped me significantly in my life as well as many others' lives'.

I've known Nelson for quite some time and he is a very successful business man. I could never have imagined that his life started out the way it did and that he became so successful in life. I like how honest he is about his up bringing and doesn't hold anything back! This is a great story that is funny at times but also heart breaking. It's the kind of book that you are interested in right from the first page and just can't put down until you're finished! He talks about outhouses and Aqua net, being poor and compares garbage picking to the old Supermarket Sweep Gameshow. He has such great advice because of his experiences in his life.. He talks about being grateful and keeping a gratitude journal. He also says that you can't control what other's do to you but you CAN control how YOU REact to it. I also like that he said "If you don't know what kind of person you Want to be, then focus on the kind of person you DON'T want to be and you'll become the person you want to be!
I think this is an Excellent book and you will not be disappointed if you take the time to read it!
