Fashion influencer meets bowling alley owner, throw in a dash of insta-love, and bad exes, and here we have it. First things first, this is the first book in the series. The story follows fashion influencer Winter Smith who has gotten out of an abusive relationship and deals with anxiety, but is trying her best. Then there’s the tattoo covered bowling alley owner, Bo Blaine, who has a bad reputation and is trying to sort out himself. Bo spots Winter, and Winter meets Bo, and taa-daah it’s insta love for both of them. The romance between the two characters felt a bit immature and honestly, I don’t see the connection. I liked Winter and couldn’t really see the appeal in Bo as a love interest. I completely understand Winter’s issues, the damage and abuse she went through in her previous relationship has her wary and cautious of anyone coming into her life, and thats understandable. The story just didn’t work for me and I don’t think I’ll be reading the rest of the series. I just couldn’t find anything really interesting and the romance just didn’t work. I’m not the biggest fan of insta-love, and I was initially hooked by the premise but the book just didn’t live up to it for me. However, maybe it might be for you, who knows? Give it a read if you’re interested.

I thought this book would be a quick romance read and that is why I requested it. The protagonist is a social media influencer and that was another factor for picking this one up.

I have mixed feelings about his book. While overall, the story is good, some little parts of it don't add up. Especially when her ex finds her at the cafe, I was rolling my eyes.

The abusive past aspect doesn't add up, either. Why doesn't Winter want to talk about it if she is so disturbed by it? And why is Bo still with his family?

Many questions with no answers.

This was a quick, one-time read.

Either I am too old, or in a different headspace than this book. I found myself not relating to anything in this book. I was hoping for more, but it was too YA for me.

Even after reading the other reviews on here I went in with an open mind. Unfortunately I was unable to finish at 55%. I was trying to get invested in Bo and Winter's relationship but they hadn't even gone on a date yet and I was over 50% through! The author spent several chapters focusing on the MC volunteer work at a local animal shelter where a new character was introduced every other page it felt like.

I had high hopes that this book could have been a very meta look into the life of an influencer but unfortunately I was let down.

This was a fun, interesting read. I enjoyed the aspect of social media and how we all strive to get the followers but in reality, sometimes, we end up struggling with the fame. I genuinely couldn't put this down as I wanted to see if Bo would be unblocked and would he get his happy ending with Winter. This is a very modern day love story with social media playing a huge part in peoples lives and how easy it is to cut them out, blocked on all platforms and how we are in control of who we communicate with online. Thank you to NetGalley and Savannah for allowing me to read this fantastic book! Definitely adding it to my wish list to re-read.

Being well known for both Winter and Bo is helpful for their businesses but a challenge in their personal life. Misjudged for his past and broken by hers, these two spark but don't realize how much they need each other. No longer fighting their feelings, when suddenly there are two obstacles that are recklessly standing in their way.
Good solid characters with their group of trusted and questionable friends creates a background for the story to take them on this bumpy ride and ends with more to tell.

I think this was a pretty accurate depiction of how people fall in love in the age of social media. And how hard it is to trust someone else after having been through a previous traumatic relationship. The relationship shown in this book is not perfect(very few relationships really are). We are only seeing a very short window into this relationship- which is I think where other readers were having problems.

Overall, this book is really cute. I would love to see a followup story or novella about our main characters. This is an easy read, with likeable characters who are flawed and have to contend with their pasts. Although it is a light, quick read, it has depth.

As you all know, I am a sucker for a rom-com, but even more so when the author can handle "real world" topics.

Winter is a social media influencer who is still scarred from her past relationship with a manipulative boyfriend. Bo is running from social media's need to call out all his flaws - real or fiction. When a chance encounter leaves both of them reeling, Winter and Bo embark on a cautious journey to friendship...and maybe even love.

Savannah has done what I appreciate the most in a rom-com by not idealizing relationships, whether they be past or current. Winter has a manipulative ex who gaslighted her and continues to insert himself in her life, despite her clear feelings (and verbalization) that she would rather him not. How Savannah developed the plot line was realistic and I was thrilled to see that this wouldn't be your typical "happily ever after" story. Real relationships have ups and downs - it was nice to see that mirrored within this story line.

I loved this story of two people that have been hurt before trying to forge a relationship despite the many obstacles thrown their way. and some self-imposed ones. Beautifully written!

Bo and winters story is very interesting and I loved how the book started out. How winter gave him a chance to show that he isn’t everything they say on social media, but towards the end it felt rushed. I also have to note that this is a cliffhanger. I am not sure how many books will be part of the series though.

Even though I feel I didn’t connect with parts of this book I will pick up book 2 because I am invested and want to see how everything plays out.

I will say though that Bo is a very sweet bad boy! He’s been marked my the public but who he is personally is way beyond what others see.

Womp Womp. I really wanted to love this one and I as a Bookstagrammer, I was super excited to read this! I thought I would be able to relate to the main character much more than I was actually able to. I think while all of the base blocks were laid, the rest of the book needed some more work. The romance just read as very immature and instant-love and I just found it very unbelievable at times and hard to connect to at others. I would categorize this one as a Wattpad-ish read and while there are some true gems on that site, I think you know what I mean!

This book was fine. It was a quick read, and I enjoyed the setting of Portland, Oregon. I go back and forth on how I feel about the MCs, Winter and Bo. I kind of hated that Winter had been offered therapy and her reaction was "why bring up the past?" when all she focuses on is...the past. However, I enjoyed her friendship with Mia and Jeremiah. But having her job be a social media style influencer bored me. I think it would be different if bigger aspirations were given, such as her wanting to become a designer or an artist. But hearing about her posts and trying to make it sound like it is really hard work just had me rolling my eyes.
Bo is interesting. But it did not make sense to me that he was still working with his family given how toxic their relationship seemed. His character seemed more like the type that would have truly broken off on his own. His job sounded interesting, at least, and hearing about his creativity was fun.
I can't decide if I will read the next book in the series or not. I think if I do, I will just have to skim all the parts about Winter's "job".

This story isn’t quite what I expected when I read the blurb. It’s a pretty easy read, but not my favorite. Some parts were really drawn out and others rushed.

Winter annoyed me. She meets a guy that she really likes and who seems perfect, but when she finds out from the internet that he has anger issues, she blocks him on all social media so he can’t contact her. I honestly thought him being blocked was going to be a bigger part of the story, considering that’s the title of the book, but it wasn’t at all. I think I just expected a little more out of the storyline.

The story was okay and I would probably check out it’s sequel when it comes out based on the ending of this book.

Winter is a social media influencer and Bo is a multi-million dollar techie. They meet on opening night of one of Bo’s latest projects and instantly form a connection. The book follows their relationship of back and forth. Winter is still coming off of a tough break up and Bo has a bit of a shady past. Even though they can’t deny the spark between them – they keep finding reasons why they won’t work as a couple.

I was really excited about this read! I will say that the title is a bit deceiving but overall I ended up enjoying this book a lot! I found that I couldn’t put it down and finished it in less than 24 hours. There are some parts of the book that are really corny and feel kind of forced (like some of the conversations at the Halloween Party) but I liked the main characters a lot. I wish they would have given Winter a bit more depth but I found myself rooting for the couple from the start. I didn’t like how quickly Winter would change her mind about Bo over nothing. Ultimately, I thought this was a quick, fun read and there was a cliffhanger at the end – leaving the story open for a second book. I would definitely recommend this book!

This book was like a bad CW show. I really have nothing else to say about it. Thank you NetGalley for this advance reader copy.

This book made me feel all of my 36 years and then some. The couple felt immature and the love story unbelievable. Perhaps the author intended this book to reach a younger market and I've just aged out of younger contemporary romances. I hope that's not the case and in the future this author tries to make her characters more relatable to a larger reader audience.

I enjoyed the book all things considered. The characters are good, romance feels genuine, the setting is very atmospheric. What bugged me where some little details that didn't seem to add, to be something that would happen in real life. The abusive relationship seems not very well explained. Also the way her ex just seems to track them down, specially at the coffeeshop, out of all the places they could have gone he guesses that one and is right?

I liked that the ending left a cliffhanger and showed us a new "villain". Overall an enjoyable read as a romance goes.

I think the precise was cute... but there was just a lot going on.
I think the beginning was where all the strength in this book lie.
I can relate to Winter having anxiety, so I thought I would be hooked.
I didn’t like the characters or the development the book or said characters made. It all felt very lackluster and left me wanting more from them.
I saw some people mention how it felt like a YA romance, and I’d have to agree. I know for myself personally, I’m feeling too old for most YA romances (minus ones from favorite authors of mine). I see this is a big reason as to why I couldn’t connect.
Luckily, if you enjoyed this, it seems there will be a sequel!
I’m not one to DNF, but I could have with this one.

I actually read this book in one sitting! I found this kitschy love story between Winter and Bo endearing and I appreciated all of the artistic references, whether it be artwork, music or movies. The characters had strong personalities but did embrace and acknowledge their flaws as well as the need to move on. Of course, social media permeated this book but it was a means to tell the story. I look forward to the next one!

It felt a bit like the writing and the way the characters spoke was trying a bit too hard to be relatable and cool and just missed the mark. The premise itself was cute but I wish there hadn't been so much focus on Winter doing her social media stuff. I understand that it's her full time job, but it got a bit annoying.
