A solid fast-paced, entertaining read if you don't mind cliffhangers. I don't mind them usually if I feel a book came to a some sort of conclusion (if temporary). If it just feels like an incomplete book, I'd rather just get a full box set at once, or by the time I get to the next one I've lost momentum and possibly interest.

This book is full to the brim of intrigue, mystery, and of course - romance.
Adrian is part of the Walker Security Team who has been working overseas for some time. But now he is back, after being called to be a witness against an incredibly dangerous man. Priscilla is the assistant DA who is prosecuting on this case and she can't help but feel the danger that this case brings with it, especially after several key witnesses have gone missing, and some have even been found dead.
When Adrian and Priscilla first meet, the attraction is obvious, but they now have to decide whether or not they can trust one another.
The characters in this book are fantastic and well developed. Alongside a unique, captivating storyline, it is impossible not to lose yourself in this story.

I love any book by Lisa Renee Jones and this book is no different. This book is full of introductions, a little romance and a whole lot of mystery. Adrian is part of the Walker Security team - he's been overseas doing his thing, but he's back now and is needed as a star witness against a very dangerous man. Priscilla is the assistant DA that is prosecuting the case and she feels danger all around - is she a target? After all, several key witnesses have already been found dead and others are missing. As soon as she meets Adrian, they both instantly feel the attraction, but can they really trust each other? In typical Lisa Renee Jones fashion, this book ends in a doozy of a cliff hanger so I'm going to immediately go grab book 2 only knowing that it's still several months before book 3 comes out. I love Lisa Renee Jones' writing, but I kick myself sometimes for reading one of her books before all three are released.

This is a quick read and very enjoyable. If you haven't read her books before, do yourself a favor and start a series.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Oh my godddd give me book 2 now please!
This book had it all with the drama and the steamy scenes. In some places it was predictable and dragged on a little but when it got good, it got good! It wasn’t a book to read if you wanted to drop off as something would happen to keep you reading.
The ending ... ARGH! I thought it would be a stand alone novel in the Walker series with book one focussed on Adrian so the ending was a shock.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

When He's Dirty is book one in the Walker Security Adrian's Trilogy.
Adrian Mack has demons and devil's he's fighting, but the main one is the man his wishes he'd killed while he had the chance when he was deep under cover for the FBI. Now the case is finally coming to trial and witnesses are turning up dead. It's time for Walker to get involved whether Adrian wants them there or not. The wrinkle in the plan is Pri, Assistant District Attorney Priscilla Miller, and whether she is on the take or what she appears. And to determine that Adrian gets closer than he should and brings the target fully into Pri. The only ones they can trust is the team and the danger is lurking every closer.

I think I would've liked this book a lot more if it wasn't part of a trilogy. It ends on a cliffhanger that doesn't resolve anything in the book, but also unfortunately didn't give me enough motivation to read other books.
This book feels contradictory for me, because I wanted more of certain things, and less of others. It involves a lot of characters who didn't have enough personality for the time they were given. Adrian is worried about being killed, so is somewhat undercover but basically throws that out the window as soon as he meets Pri. Also, half of her personality being that she doesn't like to go by her full name is somewhat useless, just give her another name. If she tells everyone that she prefers something else, what is the reason? It doesn't make her more personable.
Adrian was also too tortured a hero (think whiny Edward Cullen) which takes away from his badassness and also is foiled by the fact that every other person he works with being cooler than him.

This book is amazing. I loved reading about Adrian and Pri. Adrian is a good man. He had to do a lot while being undercover and he thinks otherwise. Walker security has his back and he thinks he doesn’t deserve it but they are family. They have each other’s back. Pri is good at what she does. She feels dirty for what she did in the past at her fathers firm. She needs to keep kicking butt and let the past go. She doesn’t trust a whole lot and I don’t blame her. Them two coming together was fate. They just click and I love how they get along and are good for one another. I can’t wait to read book 2. I need to know what happens. I also highly recommend reading this book. Another great read Lisa Renee Jones. Love it.

This is a Hit for Me!!!

Adrian worked undercover for two years with a notorious biker who is now awaiting his trial. The King Devil has corrupted people in all different and some very high places. Who do you trust? Witnesses are being killed but the Assistant DA, Priscilla Miller is heading the charge to take the King Devil down. Both are trying to live with their “dirty” past Adrian by the things he had to do undercover with the Texas Devils MC and Pri with working for the bad guys under her father’s firm. Now she’s trying to get the same kind of people she had helped put away for their offences. Adrian is coming out of hiding to take down a very deadly advocate.

Adrian is part of the Walker Security firm and it’s those same men who are there to help him through this maze of lies, deceit and danger. Even though its frowned upon but the material witness and the lawyer are crossing lines and whew do they heat up the page.

This book was amazing from the get go but had left me with a cliffhanger that I just HAVE to read now!! The twists and turns, lies and deceit make this a 5* book that has me wanting for more.

When He's Dirty is part of the Walker Security series, and the first book in the Adrian Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. I have read some of the previous books in the Walker series, but not all of them. Please note that as the first book of a trilogy for our couple, it does end on a cliffhanger, so be prepared to obtain the whole series for the whole story.

As a member of Walker Security, Adrian Mack has found redemption for a walk on the dark side. For two years the former FBI agent was undercover in the notorious Texas Kings biker club. For two years he changed, he became one of them and when the bust happened, he didn't know who he was anymore. On a hitlist with a price on his head he disappeared and joined Walker Security, but now, the trial is set to start and witnesses are dropping like flies. Assistant District Attorney, Priscilla Miller is tasked with the conviction of The King himself, and she's passionate about taking him down, but her case is falling apart. She's also in trouble, and while she resists Adrian, the sexy ex-FBI agent with a killer reputation, and his team at Walker Security are her answer, in more ways than one. He touches her, she melts. He shields her, she survives. But everything is not as it seems. Friends are enemies. Secrets are really lies. And the one time in his life Adrian lets his heart do the thinking, passion might just be deadly.

When He's Dirty is a story with a classic romantic suspense feel. Adrian is still feeling guilt over the things he took part in while working undercover, and does not feel that he deserves the support of the Walker Security family, or Pri when the time comes. Of course, that does not stop him from taking steps to protect them or enjoy their relationships. Pri is struggling with her past mistakes too, and they are both neck deep in trying to get a real evil convicted and behind bars in a much more permanent way. Corruption, family drama, an ex-fiancé, and legitimate threats to their lives keep everyone on their toes and the story moving along at a brisk pace. There is a good amount of heat between Pri and Adrian, and just as much mystery about who might be feeding information to the big bad. There is also some serious character development for the major players. The only problem is that this is the first in a trilogy, and while relationships have been forged and all the characters introduced, there is a cliffhanger ending and plenty of unanswered questions to make readers eager for the next read.

When He's Dirty is a well written start to a trilogy. I think fans of the author and complex stories that need a trilogy to tell completely.

Cliffhanger! ARGGG I am not a fan of cliffhangers. Why not just write the whole story instead of chopping it up into small bits? But it is a good story with a steamy romance too. Putting away a major bad guy is the goal. But his reach is long. So who can be trusted? I like the premise of the book.

WHEN HE’S DIRTY is the first book the Walker Security: Adrian’s Trilogy, so I have no excuse for not knowing what I was getting into. Adrian is ex-FBI and after working undercover and hand in hand with a sexy DA to bring down a corrupt biker club, it’s no wonder that their chemistry and attraction becomes undeniable. The relationship was a slow build, which I enjoyed, but there was little suspense and intrigue until very late in the book. This was obviously deliberate to keep readers coming back for more. I’ve said many times before that I detest cliff-hangers and Ms Jones penchant for writing three-part stories; yet here I am again. As much as the author has a good writing style, I dare say that if I finish this book, it will be my last venture into her exceedingly long stories.

I want to like this book more, the blurb had me intrigued, but from the get go, I felt a little detached to the whole story.

I felt as if the sequence of events dragged a little, and then towards the end of the book there’s a huge ramp up of suspense, followed by a massive cliff hanger. Sometimes I’m all for a cliffhanger which leads to the next book in the series, but unfortunately I don’t think I will be following on with this series

Loved reading the exciting and amazing story. Priscilla Miller is the Assistant DA and Adrian Ramos is her secret key witness to bringing down the evil criminal Walker. Walker has eyes and ears everywhere and witnesses are disappearing or dying. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of action and romance, and a must read story of Priscilla and Adrian's fight against Walker. Can't wait to read the next story in the series.
I received a copy of the story through NetGalley.

I received this arc from Victory editing Netgalley for an honest review:
Assistant District Attorney Priscilla Miller has been working on bringing a man to trial, but either he or his men have been silencing her witnesses one by one. Looking for former FBI agent Adrian Ramos who for six years was undercover of the notorious King Biker gang. Now working for Walker security, he does not want to revile his identity yet for he believes that the reason for the murders is someone is giving King the information of where they are binging hidden. Maybe she is that person?
What he does do is go in as a bodyguard for her and he wants to get to know her to see if maybe she or someone on her staff is the one giving up information. You find that each of them has a history and secrets. Both have done things that they are not proud of yet as the story goes they are more and more attracted to each other and the author has drawn you in with all of the different characters. The author has also set you up for the next book by the time you get to the end of this book and though this one has heat between the characters it also has some twists and turns that will make this an enjoyable read. I received this book from Neatgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com

Oh my god, this book kept me glued to my reader and then...well, then I realized that it is part of a trilogy and that I need the next book asap!
Apart from that, I really enjoyed the well-spun and equally well-written story and the multi-layered characters. Adrian and Pri are perfect together. You get why they fall for each other and you can see how they will hopefully be able to heal together.
Both of them have been on the wrong side of the law far too long and now they seek redemption, trying to bring justice to the victims of the King of Devils. A pompous title - but a man with the character and the scrupulousness to back it up.
With the help of the other guys at Walker Security, Adrian and Pri are now fighting for their lives as the devil is out to get them...

4.5 stars

What a great start to this trilogy. I can always count on this author to create a story that is full of suspense that keeps me on the edge of my seat. This book definitely did that. I loved the storyline and how the characters connected. I felt the danger that they were in and the importance and or motivation as to why this case was so important to be won.

I really enjoyed Pri and Adrian and getting the chance to see them grow as this case progressed. There was the perfect amount of steam mixed with into the actual story. It ended on a whopper of a cliffhanger and I am eager for the next installment.

A new to me Author, I will be reading more of her. The intrigue and suspense are well written, with lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed the complicated game of cat and mouse, with who can I trust situations. Then there is the underlying current of attraction between Aiden and Pri.

Both Pri and Aiden are laden with guilt from past actions, making it hard to trust. Now they want to punish those who do the wrong, not defend them, but it comes with a cost. Bad people want them dead, can they stay a step ahead?

When He’s Dirty is book one in a Trilogy; it does end on a cliffhanger.

Romance Suspense : 3.5
CW : Domestic Violence (Off Page), Cheating (Previous Relationship)

My fist read from this author was a decent one. I enjoyed the storyline and both our leads. Adrian is a good guy who thinks he's bad because of his past; a past he can't control others response of. He's strong and loyal and because of that he has a fierce possessiveness of our heroine and his friends/family. He really does think he isn't worthy of the love and trust they freely dole out for him. Pri is much the same and really just wants to love her man and be a good person. Though this book didn't have all the suspense I wanted I know the series with continue on with it big time with that cliff hanger!
I enjoyed that this had enough gruff to have me interested in our next book in the series.

Thank You NetGalley for providing the read.

Queen of the cliffhanger is back!
This book would have scored higher IF there hadn’t been the “no ending “ issue.
The characters are terrific. The chemistry between them is hot. The suspense, twists and turns kept me reading late into the night.
The damn cliffhanger had me yelling “NO!”
This is the first of a trilogy. Now, I have to know what happens.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc in exchange for my honest review.
