A very funny book that entertains and can be a good way to start a conversation or to do a game with friends

3,001 This or That Questions delivers exactly what it promises to.
In those 3001 this or that questions you'll find some very hard, some very easy, and some very though-provoking ones. I really had fun answering them for myself and asking my family and friends some of the funnier ones, as they can serve as a great chat-starter.

Would I call this a Self Help book? Not really.

At it's core this book is a bit of fun, some questions to ponder and ask friends. Some can be thought provoking just as anything else is, but none of these questions are deeply insightful to who you are as a person. If that is what you are looking for their are better journals that can help you work on that.

If you're looking for something to allow you to get to know your friends and loved ones better and have some fun doing so this is the book you want.

I love the premise of the book. Its an amazing conversation starter with boyfriend/husband/friends/family members. My husband and I sometimes have long car rides, and this book definitely helps! I was quite surprised with some of the answers I got from my husband too! With that being said, there were some silly questions that I skipped. Good thing, there are hundreds of others to choose from! I would def recommend this fun little book.

This is a great selection of this or that questions! I loved reading through these with family and friends, it made for some great conversation.

This or that is always a fun game to play to get to know people or just for a laugh. This book has the prompts all there for you and takes the hard part out of thinking up a great question to ask.

The questions are thought provoking and, of course, a little silly. My favours were:

- “Would you rather be made of of peanut butter or grape jelly?”
- “Ride a T-Rex or fly on a Pterodactly?”

The book is great for families and friends who are just looking to have a good time.

Fun book and game for playing in quarantine with your family.

This was really fun and I like that they options weren't disgusting beyond belief and strange. It leads to many discussions and kept me boredom-free during a long trip.

Would you rather… watch a bad movie or read a bad book? Know yourself perfectly or know someone else perfectly? Be the world's best scout/guide troupe leader, or the world's best scout/guide? What I saw with my review copy files of this was a completely unadorned list of this kind of either/or question, designed to goad some kind of argumentative discussion and perhaps a bit of consensus or understanding amongst groups of young people. I haven't in all honesty read all three gazillion of them, and the above are my own examples (no copyright breach here, friends). I plucked them from somewhere because I do feel that potentially a welter of questions so comprehensive would probably be best for a youth group master, short on imagination and ideas for a rainy day's session; the book might pretend these stimuli aid knowing yourself, but I can't really see that happening all that well through this; and to highlight the fact that no, this is not a bad book. But it is particularly niche.
