I love the Rebel Girls books and Questions for Rebel Girls is no different. This book has helped me grow closer to my nieves while also helping them navigate the world as Rebel Girls!

Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead.

I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings.

Anything requested and approved will be read and a decent quality review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

The entire Rebel Girls series has been quite a hit in my library. Many of my students have loved seeing themselves in the books.

Brilliant book full of inspiring stories for the future generations. A book that should be on the bookshelf of every child, regardless of gender.

Another fabulous Rebel Girls book, this time with a twist.

Full of thought provoking questions to illicit critical thinking on a range of issues for your rebel girl.
Wonderfully illustrated, bright and another welcome addition to the bookshelf.

This book was received as an ARC from Rebel Girls through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. This book is the reason why reading is so important. It'll be an honor to pass it along to my niece when she is ready, learning how she can be rebellious, and conquer the world. The questions asked were not your typical questions, out of left field, a little provocative, and yes rebellious. That was perfect in exemplifying the message that it's ok to break the rules to some degree to achieve your dreams, and let the world know what you're all about. Also, respectable women were featured in this book across many decades so women of all ages will be able to read and relate to the answers given, and the journey of each of the rebel girls. I can totally see this being a school project that will redefine the education standards, and allow girls to be more expressive, and less dependent on the opinions of others.

An exciting, and inspiring compilation that will shake, redefine, and change the world for women of generations to come. This book deserves 5 stars.

The Rebel Girls books are always amazing, and I love that this one is more interactive since you can ask the child questions. I can't wait to have a little girl in my life to go through the Rebel Girls books with!

This was a great through provoking book as has been the case with the rest of the Rebel Girls books. As usual, this highlights some notably girls and women. I would highly recommend it.

A really funny accompaniment to the Rebel Girls series of books.
When I was younger I used to love those quizzes in magazines that would tell me about who I am or what I should be/do. Now we have buzzfeed for the more random quizzes (what kind of pizza are you? and other silly quizzes). This book is great for girls to engage in these kind of quizzes, but also in a way to inspire and develop their sense of self.
With questions such as how do you express your art, courageous or cautious, how do you speak your mind and what lights up your learning, there is a nice variety. I have an 8 year old niece and I think she would love this too!

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Questions for Rebel Girls is a thought provoking and interesting book to challenge and open the mind of the reader. I loved how this book has been put together and find it would be a great book to use to help spark discussions and debates within a group. The aim of the book is to broaden minds, learning new things, opening the mind to things you may not have even considered before and to learn from each other in a respectful way.
The questions range from fun questions to more serious questions and as always has fantastic illustrations and information about past and current Rebel females from whom the questions span from.
I don't think I'll ever get bored with this series and love the diversity of each and every book so far!

This is such a fun book! I learned so much and the famous people that are featured in this book really inspired me. Looking forward to reading more of these books.

What a fun book! Asking some really great questions and answering them for yourself, while discovering who you are. These books were always my favourite as a kid and this was no exception. I know this is a book that many girls could enjoy.

A bright and colourful book that encourages and empowers young 'rebel girls' to look within themselves to find out who they are.

I'm a teacher and I have used questions from this book in my All Girls school. This has been well written and well thought out. I enjoyed reading them and enjoyed the discussions they were able to provoke from my students.

The first thing that sprung to mind as I read this book was how I could use the questions to spark discussion in my classroom. With questions ranging from Would you Rather? to What would you do? there is plenty to provoke discussion and further questions. With many questions linked to the lives and achievements of sports personalities, scientists and artists to name a small number, this book would be a great place to start finding out more about the personalities featured.

I've been a big fan of the Rebel Girls books for a few years now, and Questions for Rebel Girls makes for a cute entry. Using brief bios or quotes from women featured throughout other Rebel Girls Books, it offers up hundreds of questions designed to make children think about their lives and the lives of people around them. It also features write-in questions asked by children from around the world--which is a cute idea, but some unfortunate questions were slipped in (in my opinion, the most notable describing being disabled as something to overcome, which is probably not the child's fault they've come to hold these toxic views but should not have been included, and normally Rebel Girls deals with disability better than this). It's mostly a fairly wholesome collection that could act as a great conversation starter for kids of all ages, even if I'm hesitant to recommend anything that includes ableist ideas. It would work best as a companion to the other books since the bios included are very short.

One of the series that I love so much is the books being released by Rebel Girls. Each page in Questions for Rebel Girls features one of history's and today's strong female heroes and a series of questions relating to the things that role model has achieved or the qualities they possess. This book is great to start discussions with one another and if you are running a girl’s group or book club, then this book will spur a lot of different topics/themes to talk about.

The other thing I loved about this book is each page is brightly illustrated and entertaining. Questions for Rebel Girls is a book that would make a good reference guide to have on your bookshelf, as it is the type of book that you don't just read once - but one that you can refer back to every couple of months as each time you read, you will learn something different and no one reading time will be the same experience. The questions in this book are also thought-provoking and guaranteed to get those creative juices and mindfulness thoughts flowing.

Perfect for girls aged 7 - 15 years old. And to be honest for us older girls. I recommend this book for every mom there is to buy it for their little girl(s).
