An interesting novel, and a good start to a new series. Marianne de Pierres writes well, and her characters are well-drawn. I wasn't wholly gripped by the story, but it's imaginative and interesting. Worth a look.

This was a fun book but it felt very scattered. I felt like there was so many things that were going on and I didn’t really care much for most of it. Overall I enjoyed it but I don’t think I’ll be reading more by this author, this genre is just not for me.

An enjoyable mix of western and sci fi genres. There is nothing really new here and the book never really develops much of a story or does a lot with the characters. It's a fun, mindless book.
