I wish I had been able to read this book, but it was archived before I could.

I read backwards at first in this...I read Masquerade for a couple chapters and then stopped and went to this book. Hannah's an awesome writer and I must say had I not read a couple of chapters of the second book first, I might not have read it at all and I'll tell you why. This book was intense and at times I felt like the hero was a little wishy-washy. I don't like that. If a book is so long that you're looking for a noose...there's a problem. So why 5 stars? It was a good book but it wasn't my type of book. I'm not into this era and I couldn't get interested or invested enough to like it, like I could the second book. I think there are some people out there who will love it but for me it just wasn't my cup of tea.
