Cursed Daughters by Oyinkan Braithwaite
I give this book 4.25 stars

No man will call your house his home. And if they try, they will not have peace...

Can we outrun the past or are we doomed to repeat it?
A dark gothic tale of legacy, superstition and forbidden love. We follow Eniiyi who’s always kept one foot in reality and one in the shadow of a dead aunt named "Monife" and a family curse. She saves a stranger and in the process falls in love but with that comes something much darker.
The authors prose is haunting and builds up the suspense. The novel weaves Nigerian mythology and family drama perfectly. A recommended read if you love curses mixed with a love that tempts fate.
Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for my chance to read and review this book.
