While I wasn't always sold on the story and it was something completely different than what I expected, The Incredible Adventures of Cinnamon Girl really does stick the superhero landing. Full of comic references and a rural Australian town where the world may or may not end, it is a worthwhile story that has been underrated throughout the years. I loved the relationships between the characters and it was a story that I will not forget in a hurry.

Not usually my go-to genre but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and gave this a try. I really enjoyed it and would recommend to those wanting to try the genre.

This was a really cute book which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I love that it deals with deciding the next step in your life - it makes it all the more real, resonating with me and other people, since we all struggle with making choices about our lives. Alba was an amazing character - she felt larger than life and she shone through the pages (er, my kindle) and I wish I was more like her: enjoying conversing with people (I'm too socially awkward and have really bad anxiety!) and I love how good at art she is. The friendship in this book is so cute and perfect, super relatable too! It's amazing and I definitely think it should be read by everyone, especially if you're stuck with where you're at in life.
