The author did a bang-up job in the way he categorized the material in this book. For the novice enthusiast, learning to play the guitar can be fun. The challenge begins by wanting to achieve a level of proficiency with playing and naming the chords. However, with that said, when it comes to naming them some debate arises. Generally speaking, the chords are not universally identified the same by many practicing musicians. There's the rub.

An all inclusive look at the instruction presented in this material for establishing clarity with naming guitar chords was arranged in an easy-to-read format. More than just naming chords, this book would serve as an encyclopedia for every nook and cranny of the guitar. It's the go-to source for anything about it that anyone would possibly want to know. With great illustrations thrown into the mix, this marvelous edition comes highly recommended for the novice or advanced musician.

I send my appreciation to NetGalley and Dog Ear Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.
