A man jumping to his death points to a state of mind large enough to obliterate all differences. Another man tries to recall what he was before waking up in a strange forest. A woman slips away from consensual reality―instead of seeing concrete objects all around her, she sees their spirits, or, more precisely, how they are held up by human awareness. These are just some of the haunting scenarios to be found here.

An interesting collection of stories about reality and consciousness, perception, awareness and alienation with a dreamlike quality to the writing. Many of the characters see their worlds and relationships differently leading to a questioning of everything.
