Carter Cook wants to win a World Championship. After a life changing accident, he recovered and signed a minor league contract with the Fliers. Now he wants is to prove he can play at the highest level again. Relationships are not part of the plan.

An encounter with her ex has Jane inviting her old friend Carter to be her roommate. Their chemistry can’t be denied, and roommates turns into friends with benefits. It can’t be anything more—Jane’s life is in Red Rock, and Carter will be gone as soon as the big club calls.
