I reviewed this book via my blog and YouTube at release, due to changing accounts that review was lost. I thank you for the opportunity to read and review this title

I thoroughly enjoyed this piece of escapism and my time out from a hectic world. The story grabs you from the outset and pulls you in and the storytelling really made it worth reading. Characterisation was on point and I know I will be looking out for new publications from this author or similar in the future. A recommended read.

I was not sure what to make of this book when it started and i actually put off reading it for a while.

I actually however really enjoyed it. Waa a bit confused at times at who was who but as it all slotted into place it was a great story and at one point i actually did laugh out loud. Looking forward to the next one

This is a new to me author - thanks net galley for the free read. The quote that means the most to me from this book is 'don't follow the herd'. The reader learns about the very different lives of three mid thirties to mid forty year old women and how people react to their actions. Some of which are very public - deliberate and unknowingly and others in private. The themes of sexism, how a woman should behave, expectations of women as well as how the media can shape people's thoughts about an incident, are explored in a powerful way through a small snippet of each person's life.
I am going to have a look online at Dawn O'Porter's documentary work also.
Thanks again netgalley

A really enjoyable read which modern themes. I quickly found myself hooked on this book and was really invested in all of the character's stories. The ending shocked me so the plot twist was unexpected.

There was much to enjoy here, but I found I couldn't connect with it. I'd read more from this author in the future though.

Unfortunately I had to DNF this one. I really struggled to get into it and struggled with the format.

Although I thought some of the plot was quite odd and unbelievable, and possible dated now, it was compelling and made some interesting, funny and relatable observations, but I didn't feel this was as 'refreshing' or 'breakout' as the hype suggested. I also didn't think it worked as a feminist read. Overall this didn't live up to the promise and excellence of the pitch, cover and marketing campaign.

I couldn't get into this book unfortunately. I gave it multiple attempts but struggled to pick up the story.

A wonderful book about feminism and the power of friendships. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy.

I really enjoyed the way it is written. It swaps between the three protagonists and slowly the stories unravel and you see how they are all connected, some of the story is a little over the top but all in all I found it thought provoking and entertaining. It draws attention to how women are perceived in society and how our lives revolve around social media and staying 'relevant'. In the middle i felt a bit of a lull but once I reached the twist i could not put it down.

A timely story in today’s world of Social Media, when making a mistake is unlikely to stay hidden and be forgotten quickly. This is the story of three very different women and how one mistake reverberates between them. It explores themes of feminism, motherhood, love and loss in an absorbing style which had me right on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait to now pick up her later read – So Lucky.

I had originally DNF'd this book and decided not to give feedback, but I ended up going back to the book and finishing it. Sadly, it didn't really get much better. This book essentially felt like a standard chic-lit/woman's fiction book which was trying to be feminist in order to pander to the current market. Our main character, Tara, was incredibly annoying, being very selfish and quite stupid in her actions at times. I just wanted to give her a good shake. Overall, this book was a slog to get through, although for my sense of completionism I'm glad I finished it, and I won't be going back to any Dawn O'Porter books in the future.

This is a story about women, their friendships, fears and differences in a society that tends to herd all women together with relative ease. Rubbing up against what's expected, Tara Cam and Stella find their own way forward. This is a standard interwoven story of three women in an attempt at feminist chick lit.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I came across this one, but it was definitely intriguing. And I was pleasantly surprised. It is wonderfully written, and I loved that it explored issues (eg abortion, childlessness) that other novels tend to tread lightly around, or avoid altogether.

I enjoyed this book. I found it funny and relevant to today. I liked the descriptions of the school mums and found them pretty accurate. It had a good descriprion if how things can go viral online and how easily these things get out of control.
I found that I could relate to the characters in the book and I would recommend it to others.

I wasn’t particularly overwhelmed by this book I’m afraid. It was described as a book about three women, but it felt more like one central character – Tara, with two secondary characters in Stella and Cam. Unfortunately I couldn’t take to Tara as I thought she said and did some really foolish things – not only the incident on the train, but throughout the book. She was quite whingey and self-indulgent and was really quite irritating. I quite liked Stella until she turned into a raving lunatic and I also quite liked Cam although I didn’t like the way she treated Mark.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, des[pite the fact that I like Dawn O'Porter from her TV shows. There seemed to be a lot of hype about this book, which is often what puts me off (and I can't seem to go in with an open mind).

There were definitely some funny parts in this book, but I admit that I didn't find a lot of it relatable. Maybe it's because I don't have kids, but that doesn't usually stop me not engaging with a character. I didn't have a massive aversion to this book but I couldn't quite love it either.

When I first heard about this book, I opted to read it as I thought it would be fresh and funny but I struggled through to the end.

This is the tale of three women; none of whom live ordinary day to day lives like most of us. Camilla is a blogger with strong views on equality for all, which I heartily endorse. Tara is a documentary film maker, who has to fight to hold her own in a workplace where she's the only woman. Stella is haunted by the death of her twin sister and mother, and this slants her view of the world. Strange circumstances bring these three into the same circles, although their lives are very different.

The view of feminism shown in this book took away a lot of enjoyment from this story for me; in all honesty whilst I'm no prude I found it all a bit tacky and this is not an author I would read again. I'm so glad to have reached maturity without the internet dictating how I lived my life!

My thanks to publisher Harper Collins for my copy via NetGalley. This is my honest, original and unbiased review.
