Spring Fever was such a short cute read! Definitely going to look for the rest of the books in the series.

Thank you for approving my request.
Unfortunately I've been unable to get stuck in to this novel but hoping the next one will grab me.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this book; I apologize that it has taken me this long to get to it. Unfortunately, I loathed what I read - I could not possibly care less about what nursing does to the main character's boobs, and after two chapters I was hoping it would turn into the tale of a vicious serial killer who would kill off everyone I had read about to that point. Since it probably won't turn into that, I will not be finishing it, rating, or reviewing it.

I couldn't get into this one. And I have tried many times. It all started when on the very first page, the author wrote in the wrong character. She had meant to write Merry, but instead wrote in the other female character Freya.
I found Frey then to be the most annoying character and stopped reading.

A quick but immensely enjoyable read, this story has a hint of the paranormal about it. I did feel as though I should have read the earlier book in the series, if only to make sense of all the references, but it does work as a stand-alone.
I rattled through it in a couple of hours of sheer bliss and will happily read the next in the series if it's anywhere near as good as this one.
All the main characters were adorable, but my favourite was the dog! I really wanted to find out more about him and the cryptic comments Cora, his owner, made about him only heightened my curiosity. Maybe I'll discover more in a later book?

I finished this book in one day and really enjoyed this fast-paced, uplifting, and heart-warming story. This book is about two couples who are each going through some happy yet stressful changes in their lives but are finding that with alot of faith, family, and friendship, there is always something to be grateful for. I really liked these characters and look forward to reading more books by this author.

Tom and Mary are now in Appleyard hoping to open their new shop featuring local crafts and produce from the nearby farms. With their new baby and big plans the rains are adding to their problems. We also revisit with Freda and Sam who are having problems with the orchards and looking for new ways to make money. The four work together to succeed. A good story set in an English village that thinks Tom and Mary's new house is cursed. Book two of the Appleyard series with opportunities for additional books.
