I did not finish this book as I did not engage with this story at all.

I didn't finish the book as I lost interest in it. Didn't hold my attention.

I was really excited about this book. It has music, romance, a little mystery, a lot of action.....but then I got a few chapters deep into it, and honestly, it was sheer drudgery to finish. It just wasn't at all what it seemed. Maybe if it were edited further, and about 1/3 of the book tossed out, it would work better.

This book was all over the place. It was difficult to follow. Some of the writing was cliche, like it had been written before. The ending left a bit to be desired. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read the advanced copy in return for my honest review.

Despite a truly amazing introduction where the narrator describes a single criterion for a serious relationship (must have Television's Marquee Moon album) in collection, the rest of the novel was jumbled, confusing and rushed. The premise is great, the execution was not so much.
