In the event, you were pondering what your next book you ought to peruse. At that point, I have a book for you. It’s Liliana Hart most recent book. Book one in her new series The Gravediggers. Not to give a ton away, in light, of the fact that I am infatuated with this book and can’t what to peruse the other titles. The principal book The Darkest Corner began on a high note. These men are utilized to give it their everything, except now they are put under a magnifying glass when to their nation, their military and even they’re families accept they’re dead. Some approve of their new life, however, others not really. The Darkest Corner was a quick paced, very much created story with intriguing characters. This is one book and possibly the whole series that I may…. could read again and again.

I will recommend this book for all reader enthusiast who loves dark romances with a load of drama and mystery.

The Darkest Corner is the first in a series about a super-secret elite group of soldiers who the world thinks are dead. They have their headquarters set up in a small backward town in Texas. For me, this was an OK read. It had great potential, but didn't live up to all of my expectations.

My favorite part of the story was the Gravedigger team. I liked their camaraderie and would have loved to get to know them better. But, we are not really given much background on the team. How are they chosen? I wanted more on Deacon and what made him tick. The setting kind of threw me off as well. If you were trying to hide a super secret elite team, why would you choose a small town where gossip is the hottest commodity?

I also liked Tess. She was feisty and smart. But, I thought she took Deacon's revelation about what was going on way too easily. There was no question, at all. Just full acceptance. As for the romance part, I never really bought into Tess and Deacon. I wanted more of them together before I could feel the love between them. We are told that they have been around each other for a while. We are also told they each have a secret attraction, but never really see them interact with each other. There was just too much insta-love for me.

This story had great potential. I liked the idea of the team and almost would have liked it more without the romance. It's very much a first book in a series, so I do want to see where the team goes from here. I'm hoping we get come more answers and background. The next book, Gone to Dust, comes out in June.

Tess is a feisty, but sweet woman with an unusual job as the town’s mortician, but more unusual is the five men working as her “assistants”. There’s really no need for all the help when the small town of Last Stop doesn’t have that many deaths. Not that Tess is complaining, they’re all easy on the eyes with their bulging muscles, and good looks, but there’s only one that captures her interest: Deacon Tucker.

Deacon and his team are stationed at the mortuary as a cover for their real assignment, tracking terrorists and thwarting their plans. The team is multi-national and highly covert. For the last two years, Deacon’s had to yearn for Tess from afar, unable to do anything about it, because of the classified nature of his job. But now the higher ups think Tess can be an asset on the case they are now working, and Deacon’s able to finally get able to get close.

The Darkest Corner was entertaining and fun. I’d call it more a romance than romantic suspense, but it was pretty action packed in the end. I’m looking forward to Miller and Colin’s story next.

To say that I was excited about this new series by Liliana Hart is an understatement. Ms. Hart's novels have captivated me from the moment I first read, Cade, in her Mackenzie series!

This book had a different feel than the Mackenzie books. The romance was very much still there, but there was more mystery and suspense in the plot. The Mackenzie's were always full of those elements, too. But this time, I felt like it was equally balanced with the romance aspect. I loved it!

In my opinion, this book was very character driven. I could "see inside the heart" of them. Obviously, with the secondary characters, I was left wanting more, which is a sign of great writing! I was already anticipating the next book in the series, and I was barely through the first four chapters!

I love Tess Sherman! She made an otherwise serious plot, funny. Her spit fire temper is something to behold! I love how "real" she was. She has insecurities, but she's tough. She babbles when she's nervous, which is giggle worthy! The very sight of Deacon can reduce her to a babbling mess.

Deacon is my favourite kind of hero. He's all broody and serious, but there's more to him lurking under his exterior. He's a man of integrity and honour. He'll do what's right, no matter the cost. And he'll fight for what he wants...and he wants Tess!

This book had a frustratingly slow burn. There was so much chemistry between Tess and Deacon. I was constantly holding my breath and hoping they'd get to the hot sexy times. But I had to wait. It was important that it went in that direction, but that made it no less frustrating. But holy hell, when they finally got to the hot sweaty stuff...hallelujah! It was delicious! I never knew that a motorcycle could be used for something other than driving. Huh...you learn something new everyday!

There's so much going on in this book. But not in that confusing-what the hell is happening now-way. It's very detailed oriented, and I can't imagine the countless hours of research that Liliana put into it. The suspense aspect left me with chills. With the world the way that is right now, it all seemed too plausible. I was drawn into this book. I ignored what was going on around me. I craved the details.

I don't want to focus too much on the intricacies of the plot. I don't want to spoil it for you. The whole concept of a secret ops team that are so secret, not even the President knows about them is enthralling. If you're looking for a book or series that has a great balance of action and romance, this is it! If you want to read about brave men, who happen to be gorgeous, risk life and limb, all the while leading secret lives, save the world...read this book! And if you want to read a book that delivers the kind of romance you can expect from a Liliana Hart novel...well, here ya go!

Idgie Says:
This is a thriller/romance novel. There are spies, death, intrigue, plots and the usual as the good guys try to take down the bad guys, but there is also a strong love interest with witty banter and bed play. So... something for everyone!

In my opinion, some of the chapters were nothing more than over-descriptive fillers to hit a certain word count, but the story itself was strong, with surprising moments of humor.

The main characters caught my interest enough that I'm more than willing to follow the series to learn more about them.

An interesting story to lose yourself in for a few hours.

Wow, I really liked this book and it was just the change-up I needed.

There is a covert agency of men from special ops from all over the country who have been created to fight domestic terrorism. Unfortunately, they must "die" before being able to become a part of this force, therefore giving up their past lives, family, and friends.

Their main base is in the city of Last Stop, where they have been able to perform their investigations/missions with no one the wiser. They are known as the "Gravediggers". Enter Tess. She is the funeral director/mortician who was born and raised in Last Stop, with no clue as to what is going on right under her nose, and she's looking for something in her life to give it some excitement. Be careful what you wish for Tess!!

This little town had a myriad of characters with personalities to match, and I loved that. The typical beauty salon with small town gossip, the local sheriff, the mother with a gambling problem, the eccentric grandmother, and of course, most of the gossip surrounded the hot men of the Last Stop Funeral Home. Where did they come from? What did they do with all their time? Who would get one of them into the sack first and win the pool? LOL!!!!

Just know, there is also a romance involved here, and it heats up quickly, as does the sex!

Great beginning to a series and I just really loved the whole concept. These guys each have their own story (and heartbreak) and I'm looking forward to learning about each of them. In this book, we get Deacon's story, and damn, I just fell for him! What he went through is "my typical nightmare"!!!!!!!

The Darkest Corner is the perfect combination of the best concepts of Liliana’s 3 series; Addison Holmes, JJ Graves, and the Mackenzie’s. If you enjoy these, you will love this one without a doubt. This book is very well written. There is everything you could ask for in a book: humor, drama, and action.
Deacon Tucker is a former CIA agent before being recruited to the Gravediggers. Tess Sherman is a funeral home director in the tiny town of Last Stop, Texas. Their lives become intertwined to create a fantastic story that you just won’t want to put down.
I can’t wait to read the next installment!

will add review to Amazon on release day

The Darkest Corner is such a novel story, I am not even sure how to categorize it! First, you meet these 5 ex military hunks. They now work for a secret agency called The Gravediggers. For awhile, I wasn't even sure what it was they did, if they were the dead brought back to life, or if there was something else going on. Frankly, I felt a lot like Tess-suspicious! What are these 5 hotties doing in a tiny town pretending to be mortician assistants? They have absolutely no mortician skills, so Tess knows there is something else going on. And even though the funeral home should be in the red, it isn't. Then one morning, an unaccounted for body is in the embalming room. And to Tess's horror, its not a dead body. She is determined to get some answers from Deacon, one of her 'assistants'. Deacon, who is also the star of some of her fantasies...

I liked Tess. She is odd in a lot of ways: first, she is a mortician which is a strange profession. Second, she has a thief of a mother and a Russian grandmother who has mob connections. Third, she lives in the funeral home (this might not be that odd, but to me, its super creepy!). All of these things made her more endearing to me as the reader.

Deacon was one of the first Gravediggers, so he often feels the need to 'parent' some of the newer recruits. He is drawn to Tess right away, but knows he can't actually be with her. I mean, he is technically dead...according to the US government anyway. Deacon has that alpha male bossiness that I enjoy in my heroes. Also, the Gravediggers are trying to stop a terrorist cell, so there is a lot of suspense and danger that really pulled me in. He struggles with his love for Tess because he can't be in a relationship. Its against the rules, and breaking one of the Gravediggers rules is a big deal. However, he knows he loves Tess and is ready to take the risk! Seriously, that is so swoony!

The Darkest Corner gave me some sense of the Stephanie Plum books from years ago (before they got repetitive). Tess's family is so funny and her best friend is awesome. The book isn't all danger and suspense; there is some humor in the zany Russian family!

I'm so glad I picked up The Darkest Corner! With secret government agencies, a quirky heroine, and all the danger of modern terrorism, it gave me my romantic suspense fix in an uncommon way that I really appreciated!

Wow. Lots of info in this first book of the series.

The Gravediggers are a group of ghosts. These men are former military from around the world joined together for the greater good. They “died” in their former lives to be reborn in this organization. They have 10 year contracts. Deacon Tucker, former black ops, is the leader. The others are Axel Tate, former Australian Intelligence; Colin Moreau, former French Intelligence; Dante Malcolm, former MI-6; Elias Cole, former Navy SEAL and the newest recruit, Levi Wolffe, former Kidon Mossad.

The Directors (the secretary of defense, the assistant attorney general for national defense out of the Justice Department and the CEO of the largest private weapons manufacturer in the country) created and oversee the group and its missions.

Eve Winter is the “middleman” in this equation. She is cold, calculating, unemotional and unrepentant. She does and says whatever she deems necessary to get the job done as she sees fit.

Tessera (Tess) Sherman is the only mortician in Last Stop, TX. She grew up in the small town, went off to college, and returned home to pay off her student loans and start saving for her future. She thought she’d figured out where her life was headed when Eve swooped in and bought the funeral home out from underneath her. With Eve came her band of merry men.

Tess spends the next 2 years dancing around Deacon. Unbeknownst to her, Deacon has been doing the same dance. One night, a kiss changes everything.

The interactions between this group of alpha males are interesting and entertaining and the bonds evident.

Theodora, Tess’s mother, and a total narcissist, is the bane of her existence for most of the book. Tess’s grandmother was married to the boss of the Russian Mafia. She isn’t all warm and fuzzy, but it is quite evident she cares about her granddaughter very much. Miller Darling is Tessa’s best friend, a romance author and a total hoot. Miller lives life her way. She is a good balance for Tessa.

Definitely some dark material here. Some humor, suspense, romance, small town issues/gossiping. The story dragged a little in some parts but was still very worth the read. I am curious to see where this series goes and look forward to the next book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC provided by NetGalley.

The store was good, the writing excellent. I do think it could use a bit of editing in certain areas. Some of the descriptions became a bit much. Not a lot but some I started skipping to get to the actual dialogue. I like the overall arc of the story and I am excited to see how the others fair. I love Miller she seems like she is going to be awesome.

This is the heart pounding, breath-holding first book in Liliana Hart’s Gravedigger series. There are six Gravediggers, American Deacon, Aussie Axel, French Colin, British Dante, Israeli Levi and former Navy Seal Elias. All are bad-ass, gorgeous and super intelligent. All have been sent to Last Stop, Texas to set up a headquarters for the secret Black Ops organization, Neptune. All are under the thumb of Eve Winter a no-holds barred supervisor who holds them in check with threats against their lives. Deacon is the leader and their cover in this small town is as assistants at the funeral home where Tess Sherman is the mortician. Eve Winter bought the funeral home out from under Tess but agreed to the stipulation that Tess remain on in charge of the Funeral Home. Tess and Deacon are attracted to each other but trying to keep their relationship on a professional level. Deacon is afraid to involve Tess in the danger of their missions, Tess is trying to stave off town gossip. Of course this will fail. But the biggest threat is the terrorists that they need to thwart.

Wow! This book is why we love Romantic Suspense; it is brimming with action, adventure, sexual chemistry, evil villains and witty dialog. The characters are well developed so that we look forward to the next books in the series. The action doesn’t ramp up until the second half of the book but never mind that since finding out the back stories of all the players, and side characters from town, is fascinating and we do want to know more of each in future books. We won’t have to wait very long for those books since Books #2 & #3 are releasing in the next two months.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series.

the darkest corner introduces us to the gravediggers, a top secret organization of rogue agents whose deaths have been faked in order to allow them to fight international terrorism under the radar. as the first recruit of the gravediggers stationed in last stop, texas, he's the de facto team leader. under the cover of working at a funeral home, he's been surrounded by death for too long since he was himself brought back from the dead.

but there's one person who makes him feel alive again. one person he'd consider risking it all for. he knows he's on borrowed time. either the directors will order him killed by the end of his term of service to the gravediggers or he'll die on the field of duty. either way, he's spent too long denying himself anything real. and when tess sherman accidentally discovers their newest recruit, it is only a matter of time before he will have to actually start answering her questions with the truth.

and he wants to tell her the truth. he thinks she deserves it. and when he is given the official go-ahead to bring her in, he does so mostly for him. the fact that she speaks the dialect of russian necessary to overturn the latest threat to world peace is incidental in his book. when his supervisor gives him leave to seduce her, he doesn't prostitute himself out for the job. he takes it as permission to move forward with something he's always wanted.

the connection between tess and deacon is strong from the get-go. and as they finally share their truest selves with one another and become more entrenched in each other's lives what's at stake becomes a lot more personal. for the first time deacon has something, someone to live for. and tess, who's been abandoned and cast aside more than once in her life, realizes that she's finally given her heart to someone who might leave in spite of how much he loves her. and the question becomes more about is the risk of heartache worst if they are together or if they are apart?

the shadow organization this series sets up is pretty incredible, and i can't wait to see how each other the gravediggers' stories evolves. i'm already looking forward to reading gone to dust, book 2 in the series.

Title and author: The Darkest Corner by Liliana Hart
Series: Gravediggers - Book 1
Publisher: Pocket Books
Releases: May 23, 2017
Purchase: http://tinyurl.com/kvest6v
Genre: Suspense
Author website: https://lilianahart.com/
Rating: 4 Stars

The premise of the Gravediggers series is very original, and the first book gives lots of information on what type of assignments are carried out by the secret group known by this name. The way in which an individual becomes a member is definitely unique, too, where courage and risk collide. I became immersed in the storyline from the start, and I kept reading to discover what this elite bunch of men would eventually have to do. I have heard good things about the suspenseful stories written by Liliana Hart, and THE DARKEST CORNER is entertaining with thrilling expectations.

For twelve years, Deacon Tucker had served his country and much of the time was spent doing covert ops. Then his life totally changed when he was recruited by a group known as the Gravediggers. He now completes assignments that require secrecy and are always dangerous. Since no one realizes he is still alive because of an elaborate deception, Deacon can take part in missions without having to worry if anyone will miss him in case the task goes south.

When after graduating from college, Tess Sherman came back to live in Last Stop, Texas and ended up working for a local funeral home since she had studied to be a mortician. Her current boss made huge changes when the business was bought, and there are now five men employed as assistants. One of them is Deacon, and Tess has noticed the mysterious yet very tempting man more than once. She has no idea what he really does, and he knows she must never be aware of the actual work he covertly undertakes. Then complications arise one day which are linked to his hidden employment.

Any time a group of alpha men get together, there is usually plenty of mocking and trying to prove who is better. Deacon and his fellow teammates can always come up with something sarcastic to say, but each one would stand by the other when needed. Since the men are from all over the world, there is even more variety to the humor, and I found myself laughing at some of their “manly” comments. What this group could actually have to face is terrifying, and after the especially frightening prologue, I was anxious to see how everything would conclude. Liliana Hart’s vivid descriptions give a realistic sense of every detail, and many times I felt as though I was right there beside Deacon and Tess.

While much of the story concentrates on a complicated plot by terrorists, there are also many moments connected to the budding romance between Tess and Deacon. Though both have noticed the other in a sexual way for a long time, neither made a move until the time was just right. Passionately fiery expresses what happens when they let desire take over, and they are not individuals who hold back. Their emotional bond is evident even when the words have yet to be spoken, and I kept wondering what Tess would do when some very tough choices must be made. Since this is the first book in the series, and numerous explanations were needed to clarify what had happened in the past, I hope to see more action in the next book. THE DARKEST CORNER intrigues with alarming threats and scorching passion.

I voluntarily reviewed the book from the publisher via NetGalley, and all comments are my honest opinion

Liliana Hart is a new to me author, but when I received THE DARKEST CORNER, the first in the Gravedigger romantic suspense series I couldn't help but dive in. With its unique premise and Texas setting THE DARKEST CORNER offered suspense, mystery and a touch of heat.

The tale began much like you would expect a science fiction thriller or horror story to start with five armed men digging up a grave. Hart pulled me into the tale as she shared the world of this elite group known as the Gravediggers. We have highly trained men from around the world, and their leader is Solomon Lange. All of these men had served their countries before each was marked for dead. Each was approached by the head of a secret organization to join an elite group of black operations specialists even the President of the United States isn't briefed on. This team eliminates global terrorist threats.

Welcome to Last Stop, Texas. A small town where everyone knows everyone. We meet Tess, the local mortician and learn her story. She had planned to buy the funeral home she currently manages. That is until her mother absconded with her savings and the property is purchased. After some major renovations, she now has five men working for her. All were hired by her employer, and none seem to have experience working in a funeral home. They are quite the curiosity with locals. In fact, the local ladies have a pool to see who sleeps with Solomon Lange first.

What a fun set up! We learn Solomon has been attracted to Tess since he arrived two years ago but hasn't acted due to his position in the group. All that changes when Tess announces she plans to leave Last Stop. Solomon is instructed to keep her there by any means necessary, and he seizes the chance.

Solomon is an interesting character with a mad skill set, but he is also vulnerable. Hart did an excellent job of letting us see both sides. Tess was surprising. She is bright, can speak Russian thanks to her grandmother but has been severely hurt giving her some self-esteem issues. She doesn't rush into things, but once she commits she goes all in.

The suspense thread and elite group took us on missions and delivered some heart-pounding moments. I loved the secret organization and the sci-fi aspects. Talk about freaky. We meet the Director, and I am curious about this seemingly cold, ruthless woman.

The romance offered heat and complications. With the story provided dual povs we got inside their heads allowing us to connect with both Tess and Solomon making their interactions feel genuine. Hart added some sizzling scenes but balanced them with heartfelt moments.

We are introduced to a unique and quirky set of secondary characters, and I look forward to their stories. Each of the men in this elite group come from different parts of the world, and it will be interesting to learn how they ended up in Last Stop, Texas.

Fans of heated romantic suspense, secret organizations, and elite task forces will want to grab THE DARKEST CORNER and begin the Gravediggers series. The next books GONE TO DUST and SAY NO MORE release in June and July 2017.

I know this is the first of the series, and maybe the next book will pick up the pace because the world and characters have been established. I just felt this was a very long book. I enjoyed the story and the characters, but at times I felt like it was work to make my way through. I will definitely give the next one a try.

Looking for a new romantic suspense series full of alphas, nonstop action, and quirky heroines? Then look no further than Liliana Hart’s Gravediggers series and The Darkest Corner! In this first installment of the Gravediggers series, we are introduced to the world and the men of Gravediggers. They are the world’s most elite fighters who literally die only to be brought back to live to do someone else’s bidding. That someone else is Eve Winter and for some reason, Eve dumps all of the Gravediggers off in Last Stop, Texas at a funeral home. Enter Tess, the Last Stop mortician. When Tess can assist a Gravedigger mission Deacon can’t decide if he’s comfortable with Tess getting involved, both with the mission and with him on a very personal level ;)

The Unique
-Since the Gravediggers had to cut all ties when they died and came back to life via Eve they have absolutely no family or friends. However, Hart gave us glimpses into few of the men’s worlds and it seems like not all of them have completely given up their old life. Axel, a Gravedigger, watches his wife from afar and it’s heartbreaking. I’m completely hooked on this series and these men. I cannot wait for the next book and, luckily for us, the next two books are releasing this summer!

The Exceptional
-Hart must have done quite a bit of research on embalming and the profession of being a mortician because the details she put into Tess’ work and the funeral home were absolutely fascinating.
-When reading romantic suspense I don’t usually expect emotional sex scenes. With The Darkest Corner, that’s just what I got though. Deacon and Tess’ joinings were steamy and heartfelt. I was surprised just how swoon-worthy an elite fighter could be and I found myself craving Deacon’s thoughtfulness, care and absolute devotion to Tess in each and every scene.

The Imperfect
-About half way through this book it started to slow way, way down. I was totally with Hart on the explanation of the Gravediggers, with the intro to Tess, Deacon and their insane attraction, and then the basic gist of the mission in The Darkest Corner. However, once Deacon and Tess expressed their feelings for one another things just kinda slowed until completely stopping. At that point Deacon and Tess seemed to be a 100% sure thing, the mission seemed kinda boring and there was almost no progress with the other Gravedigger men. I’m not sure what happened here, things just slowly died and the remainder moved at a glacial pace.

As a new to me author, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect out of Hart going into The Darkest Corner. Due to her crazy popularity, I was pretty sure my expectations were set too high and that I’d be disappointed in the end. However, Hart delivered. Despite the slow second half of the book, The Darkest Corner’s first half was ideal for me due to its combination of high action and high emotions. This book is perfect for military romantic suspense fans who like relatable heroines, steamy sex scenes and a ton of mystery. Let’s just hope that the energy and romance in the next few Gravediggers books keeps up for the entire length of the novel.

Oohhh wonderfully good! Suspense, steamy, and swoon worthy men too! .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The synopsis of this book had all of the earmarks of the type of story that I love. Military, suspense, romance, hot men, espionage – oh yeah! With a combination like this, you know there’s going to be a lot going on and I couldn’t wait to dive in.
From page one, the author was able to grab your attention and introduce you to a creepy in yet interesting plot. Some may feel it’s a bit far-fetched, however in today’s world anything is possible.
With this unique plot you have to have unique characters to go with it and this book certainly offers that. I’m not sure if I have read a romance based novel that has a mortician in it, let alone a female mortician. So you know this is either going to be humorous or strange. I found the humor in it and enjoyed the heck out of it.
With the interesting plot and the great blend of characters, not to mention the steamy love connection with the HOT and yummy Deacon, this book is definitely a intriguing and decadent story. Memorable characters and a great energy throughout is a highlight of Liliana Hart writing style.
Suspense of the deadly variety
I do so love a good romantic suspense series with hot alpha men and kick butt heroines. Oops, guess I should qualify that last bit… kick butt doesn’t always equate to the physical side of things.
In the case of Tess, we’re talking more tempered by the hard knocks of life with a side of bravissimo. Life isn’t always easy when you’re born to a woman with deplorable morals, a love of gossip and a gambling addiction that will eat everyone around her alive. Thankfully (?) Tess spent her formidable years being raised by her grandmother, the wife of a Russian mafia boss. Is it any wonder that Tess chooses to keep her circle of friends limited, preferring to spend her days speaking to the dead? Now she has her hands full with a passel of totally unnecessary, overkill employees fobbed off on her by the new owner of the mortuary she manages. Speculation is rife in this small town on just how many of the hotties she might be sleeping with. That would be a big fat zero… not that she isn’t tempted by the tough ruggedness of Deacon Tucker.
If life has been challenging for Tess it’s been over the top deadly for Deacon. A career in the CIA ending in disgrace and dishonor wasn’t what Deacon had planned when he started his career. Now he’s a monkey on a string for a clandestine international black ops organization out to save the world from terrorism… a job that isn’t exactly copasetic to romance, marriage or family life. That doesn’t stop this tough alpha male from yearning for a sweet mortuary director. When he’s ordered to get Tess’s cooperation on their current mission no matter what methods he has to use, no one knows just how well those orders play into Deacon’s cravings.
The Darkest Corner is full of suspense and hot steamy romance, a combination I love. The Gravediggers series promises to deliver plenty of action, adventure, intrigue and romance for those of you who really appreciate great romantic suspense novels. I’m looking forward to reading Gone to Dust which publishes on June 20th.
OMG!!! I could not put this book down. Totally awesome. Action. Sex. Dead men walking. A secret group. And a terror plot. Will keep you turning the page till the very end. Fantastic start to a new series. Funny too.
Deacon is a GRAVEDIGGER, a team who's duties are to stop terror plots. He was disavowed by his country and a kill order went out for him. He was recruited but he had to die first, then return as a different man. He signed up for ten years and can have no relationship without getting them both killed.
Tess is a mortician and runs the funeral home. Her mother owns the salon in town and has a gambling problem. Her grandmother is Russian and lives in a retirement village. She has enough problems without being attracted to her helpers.
Deacon and his "brothers" work and live at the funeral home. His boss bought the place and renovated but left Tess is charge of the business side. When his boss decides to use Tess, Deacon had already decided to make his move on her. After two years he can't wait ant longer but he won't lie to her. Will he risk his life and hers to be with her or will he let her get away? Can't wait for the next book.
