**I received a copy of Crossroads from Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**
Crossroads by Chantal Fernando is the sixth book in her Wind Dragons MC series. I'd recommend reading the a couple of the previous books to give you a bit of the back story of their rival club Wild Men. However this book really focuses on Faye, Ranger, Jo and Elizabeth and human sex trafficking.
Ranger is asked by Faye to help find his first love from high school, Elizabeth Chase, who has been missing two weeks since trying to find him in a biker bar. There are flash backs to their European trip after high school, but he doesn't know that she calls him "The one that got away". They both fear the worse and he declines first before agreeing to help Elizabeth's cousin, Detective Joanna Chase. As the race to find Elizabeth, both Ranger and Jo discover they have feelings for each other. But Ranger has a secret that he hasn't told Jo and it could change her mind about him completely as there is one thing she values above everything else-honesty.
Joanna Chase knows that she needs to find Elizabeth soon before she's lost forever. But when Ranger and Jo view the video from the bar they know that there are more women missing than just Elizabeth it will be a race to find all of the missing women before they are forever gone into the dark underworld of human trafficking. Can they find Elizabeth in time and can their new feelings for each other survive if they find her?
I'd give Crossroads a very high 4.6 stars for it's excellent portrayal of its subject of trafficking and its sense of how family is important in the Wind Dragons MC.

This almost seemed like a spin-off from the WDMC. The characters were present, but only peripherally.
That said, definitely not a bad thing, the story was still highly entertaining and it was great to see some old faces :) I felt like this was s departure from the rest of the series - there was no MC drama, and the drama that there was seemed slightly juvenile. A guy stuck between two ladies, and the omissions that lead to hurt feelings... very high school. I did enjoy Ranger (I've been looking for his story since we met him) and there's something to be said for a hero who knows what he wants from the get-go and fights for his lady. Jo on the other hand... meh? She's got a hard exterior with a squishy centre, but all the lying and sneaking to save face... does not make for a strong character. Plus - and I'm Canadian, so maybe this is just disturbing to me - she look a gun to a bar? and pulled it on someone while intoxicated? and this was considered cute??? I had been sitting on the fence in regards to Jo at that point, then just No. No, no. no.
The writing was as clever and witty and sexy as I've come to expect from Ms Castille, so the book is automatically awesome, so I did give it 4 stars - I'll continue to look for more by this talented author!

I seriously can't get enough of this fabulous series!! I hope Chantal Fernando never stops writing these addictive books!!! Just when I think there is no way I could love this series more, Ms. Fernando proves me wrong with her original storylines and amazing characters!!
This novel combines romance and suspense perfectly! I thought Johanna and Ranger not only made a great couple, but they were great partners as well!! Johanna was most definitely NOT a damsel in distress and could hold her own, but didn't always have to be in control--loved that!! I always enjoy catching up with entire Wind Dragon's MC and getting updates on past favorites!! Crossroads is a 4.5 star book that makes a perfect addition to this fantastic series! I truly meant it when I said I hope this series never ends, I am crossing my fingers there will be many more installments in the future!!!
