I've been a fan of this series from day 1 so it was so bittersweet to be reading the second to last book and knowing I won't have new adventures with these characters for much longer!
I loved the relationship development and it was clear to see how the characters have grown and evolved over 7 books. Angela and Jenny continue to be a joy to read and their friendship is just so wholesome.
Now, I think I might need to reread the entire series before reading the final book!

Those of you who follow my socials will likely know that I have set myself a challenge to try and make a dent in my backlog of Netgalley books. With two more needed to complete my challenge it was an easy pick for me when I spied a Lindsey Kelk novel on the list as I absolutely adore her books and this one is I Heart Forever from one of my favourite series the I Heart Series.
Ok I am pretty certain I did actually read this and must have forgotten or misplaced my review because as I made my way through the pages things began to become familiar to me and began predicting what was going to happen next so either I have gained psychic abilities or my memory was kicking in!
However, despite the familiarity of the book I absolutely loved this book and devoured it in a day, being back with the loveable Angela and Jenny was like being reunited with old friends and the manic, crazy lives they lead provided laughs all the way. I did miss Alex in this book as he is missing for the majority of it but there was more than enough going on to still hold my interest from start to end.
As ever Angela and Jenny are in life changing situations that many of us can relate to, just maybe in a less frantic way! We are routing for them and hoping that everything works out in their favour because over the years we have formed a strong bond with these characters and ultimately, we want them to get their happy ever afters.
We still have the glitz and glamour in this modern lifestyle but we also have the reality of life’s hurdles thrown into the mix. If anyone has yet to read a book from this series (seriously I don’t think I have met a reader yet who hasn’t) then you really are missing out because these characters really leave their mark. Fans of Sophie Kinsella Shopaholic series or Paige Toon Johnny Be Good books will absolutely adore this series and I for one wish I could go back and start them all for the first time again.
Another fabulous witty frenzied read from Lindsey Kelk that gets a thumbs up from me.

Really enjoyable read. Good characters and a Good story. Well worth a read. Think others will enjoy.

Thank you to Harper Collins for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I have been reading Lindsey's books for many years now and I heart the I Heart Series. Angela is one of my favourite characters of all time so I was so excited to get back to her story.
Catching up with Angela and the gang is like catching up with old friends. It's always full of laughs, adventures and leaves you with a warm feeling in your heart. This book has everything you have come to expect from an I Heart book.
I was sad that Alex was away for a large majority of this book but I did like seeing Angela and Jenny together like the old days. These two have such a special friendship it was great to see them go back to their roots. It was also great to see more of Jenny than in previous books. I've always been on #TeamJenny.
This is definitely my favourite I Heart book yet. AND, AND there were crossovers! Yes, okay some minor ones and we don't actually see them interacting with the I Heart characters but I was still super excited about it
I loved every damn page of this book and I was so proud of Alex and of Angie in this book. I can't wait to read I Heart Hawaii!

I was captivated from beginning to end in this story just as I was with the other books I read in the series. I think you can enjoy this book even if you haven't read the other books as the way Lindsey writes allows you to catch up.

I love the ‘I Heart’ series and this one didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t wait to read this instalment of the series, I took me just a day to read as I was unable to put it down. Lindsey, never fails to make me laugh, laughing out loud in parts. Can’t wait for the final instalment of this series.

I absolutely adore Lindsey Kelks books. I Heart Forever was no different, I was captivated from the beginning. This was such a sweet read and I can't wait to see what else Kelk brings out

When I read this book I hadn't realised it was number 7 in a series, but this didn't stop my enjoyment of it and will be recommending it.

‘I Heart Forever‘ is #7 in the I Heart series but it was the first I’ve read so my opinion will be focused on this volume on its own.
The Plot:
Was there a plot? Even the most charismatic characters couldn’t make up for the lack of action this narrative had. I was unlucky in the sense that in this volume, pretty much everyone is settled down and the drama consists of nothing more than relationship issues and disagreements.
The positive point is that even though I haven’t read the previous books in the series, I was still able to get into the story and context. So this is something you can definitely pick up even if you haven’t read anything else from the series.
I was disappointed with the ending as well. The book focused so much on Angela’s career so the least it could do was at least to give us a glimpse at her new professional life.
Basically, I felt nothing truly happened from the beginning until the end of the book.
The Characters
I’m sure I’d feel more attached to these characters if I had followed the series so I don’t want to be unfair. Judging by this book alone, I didn’t feel much for them, but I didn’t dislike them either. I liked Angela but mostly due to the author’s writing style. Angela has funny remarks and even when you don’t care as much for the plot, you still enjoy reading through her thoughts and actions. It’s well, fun. I didn’t feel particularly attached to Jenny or Alex. Jenny’s parallel story felt real but predictable, and Alex was just not present that much. Actually, it feels as if Alex is never there, I didn’t feel any spark or connection for the couple, even though every character keeps saying he’s awesome.
The Writing Style
Bonus points for the engaging writing style. The story is narrated from the main character’s PoV (Angela) and she’s quite fun and entertaining. She and her friends are dealing with common problems of growing up, which makes it relatable for many. Even if the plot didn’t feel very interesting to me, I had fun accompanying these friends’ lives and their genuine struggles. I think Kelk’s writing style was what saved the day and made me keep reading even when I wasn’t invested in the story anymore.
Overall, I felt I Heart Forever was yet another chick lit book, but without the spark and the romance. It’s as if we are taking the ending of a story and trying to keep going from there. But when the after “Happy ever after” is still “Happy ever after”, things get boring quickly.

I Heart Forever does a fabulous job of creating a memorable setting that acts as a prominent secondary character. Kelk is wonderfully adept at sewing delicious locales and transporting the reader. Unfortunately, I just didn't connect with the characters --or the --romance in the way I might have wished.

Absolutely love the ‘I heart’ series and this one didn’t disappoint Lindsey Kelk most certainly knows how’s to grab the readers attention and keep it throughout.

As an avid reader of the I heart series, couldn’t wait to read this and absolutely jumped at the chance. This book only took me the weekend to finish it, towards the end I didn’t want to finish it. Heart warming easy read that warmed up a cold winter. Absolutely recommend.

Fabulous amazing funny book. I didn't want it to end. I am now going to start to read all this authors books. Fantastic stuff well done.

An easy read that perfectly followed on from the previous books in the series, not out of place at all.

This book is the perfect end to a favourite series! It's bitrersweet, leaving these friends behind but it has been an amazing trip and this wraps it all up so well!

I’ve been a fan of the characters in this series of books from the very beginning and am happy to say that this book is really good. I pretty much read it in one sitting and loved being back in the world of Angela, and Jenny. This novel sees Angela being stressed about what is happening at the magazine she works for but there is still plenty of very funny antics and hilarious moments throughout the book. This is a lovely end to this series and it’s made me want to go back to the beginning and start them all over again. I recommend this one, especially if you’ve read the other books.

It's been far too long since I read a book in this series but it took me no time at all to get back into the swing of it with the loveable Angela Clarke. Angela is settled in New York and seems to have it all now, but as loyal readers will know everything Angela does is NEVER easy. This time around her husband Alex is on travels to Asia and Angela is left in New York which would be fine...until she discovers a secret. I know as one of those loyal readers that secrets and Angela don't mix very well. IN fact is almost always a recipe for disaster and this latest book is no different.
What makes this series so special is not only Angela herself but the characters we have met along her journey such as Jenny Lopez her best friend. These two are a match made in heaven and some of the things they get up to had me roaring with laughter. In addition Angela has issues at work where she is Editor of Gloss magazine. With Alex away travelling we don't actually see too much of him but in all honesty this book was all about Angela and Jenny and it just worked.
I'm fearful of saying anything else about the storyline, because it really will be a spoiler for those that haven't read it yet. Suffice to say that I absolutely loved this book and feel like I have severely missed out having not read any Kelk books for some time! I have seen other readers and reviewers say this may be the end of the series. I can't say I have seen that anywhere but will be truly gutted if that's the case. Besides the ending is left open for a corker of a next book if that's not the case. This truly was a joy to read and I will be moving my unread Kelk stand alone books firmly up my to read list.

This is the last in a series of 7 books featuring Angela - I have now read the first and the last! Just need to read the ones inbetween now!
This is a funny loveable book - Angela is now editor of Gloss magazine and her husband Alex wants to travel around Asia for a few months. Angela and Jenny are still best friends - this is a fun and easy read

An enjoyable read that made me feel very old! Ah, the youth of today with their vlogs!
