I dont think I have ever read a book quite like Gone to Dust so I was very intrigued see what it was about just based on the lovely blurb , so when I got the chance to read an Arc of this book I was so excited and read it as soon as I could and Omg this book was , fantastic. We follow Elias and Miller , Miller ( I just want to say that I love that she romance novelist !! ) is on the search to find her brother after getting a very disturbing package in the mail and Elias comes with her . Now Miller and Elias shared a hot kiss in the past so its obvious that there was something brewing between them, however as we get deeper and deeper into this story you see there relationship bloom into a spectacular romance . I loved them together , there where times where I worried it wouldn't work out between them, but I had nothing to worry about because this story reminded me again that love will find away no matter what. There was so much going on this book between the romance and the hunt for millers brother Liliana Hart had me hanging on to every single word needing to know what would happen next . Iam just so fascinated by the Grave diggers and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in this series .If you are looking for an sexy , unique, thrilling story you should definitely pick up a copy of Gone to Dust

If you were dead, could you deal with it? Okay, these super-trained men are not really dead, however they died in the eyes of the world, and there cross-over was brutal, that is, the leaving and returning to the living.

They are now employees at Last Stop Mortuary, a cover for what their purpose really is. They are men who are top, or were, in their chosen careers, now using some really super technology to oust the men bent on destroying the world. The gravediggers operate as an elite team, working to fight terrorism.

So how does Miller Darling, a romance novelist, always on deadline (sound familiar, you writers?) hook up with these characters? The whole town is ogling the men who have been hired at the Last Stop Mortuary. Even the name of the town, coupled with the word, mortuary, gets me laughing and I managed to laugh all the way through except when I was on pins and needles--plenty of action and suspense!

There are scenes full of deep mirth and some very outrageous dialogue. One particular one has UPS ring Miller’s doorbell. She’s got a sign on her front door ‘Do Not Disturb’. Unfortunately, the deliverer needs a signature. Miller has been writing non-stop for three days, looks and probably smells like hell. She is right in the middle of writing an exquisite love scene, in tune with the total experience. Her novel’s characters are King Solomon and Queen Sheba. Here’s a small excerpt that just cracked me up!

She took his hand and kissed it softly, and then she joined him on the bed, sliding the sheet from his body and moving over him, so she was poised to take him into her. Their hands clasped and their gazes met, and he knew this would be a spiritual experience, that they would truly meld—mind, body, and soul—with their union.
His jaw clenched and sweat beaded on his skin as her heat enveloped him. And then her head fell back with a moan as she sank down on him. The world spun away as pleasure unlike he’d ever known surrounded him.
His vision dimmed and the incessant chime of a doorbell rang in his ears.

“A doorbell?” Miller Darling said, shaking herself out of the scene she’d been writing. “What the hell?”

She snarled and her head snapped up at the interruption. She was going to kill someone. No jury would convict her. The sign on the front door clearly said, “Do Not Disturb.”

Her ensuing temper lashed at the poor UPS man. Hysterical reading—a bit more excerpt:

“I don’t care if you’re delivering gold bullion or the electric pencil sharpener I ordered three months ago and never received. The sign says ‘Do Not Disturb.’ Do you know how long it’s going to take me to get back in the mood?”

His eyebrows raised and his mouth opened and closed a couple of times. “No?” he said, phrasing it like a question. He was starting to look scared. Good.

“That’s right. You don’t know, she said. “Lovemaking like that can’t just be performed on a whim. It takes preparation and the right frame of mind. I had the candles lit and the music playing, and she was about to ride him like a stallion. You’ve set me back hours at least. How would you lie it is someone kept ringing the doorbell right before you were about to have an orgasm?”

Hysterical, right? This type of book can either be offensive or just a riot to read, depending on the sensibilities of the reader. The whole town is a little bit off kilter, but charming and endearing.
Elias Cole, one of the men working for the mortuary is not only ogled by the town women, but he’s ogling Miller. As outrageous as she is, she’s just the sort of woman he needs. Elias has denied himself any permanent relationship, since his life is nothing he can offer a woman. The chemistry between the two of them is explosive. Elias has the control of just walking away, driving the hot-tempered, spit-fire writer crazy! She's tempted to write him into a story and knock him off!
Justin, Miller’s brother, considerably older than she is has been out of her life for a long time. She receives a couple of letters a year from him. But things heat up when she receives his finger and ring in the package delivered by that UPS man. Who better to talk this over with, is her friend Tess, who she tells everything. In book one, Tess married one of the ‘dead’ men, so she has connections to aid Miller to find her brother, but Miller doesn't know about Tess's secret new life.
One thing Miller believes in, is family. She's ready to go find her brother, with or without help.
You’ll want to indulge in this series, the whole thing, because the plot is unique, the humor is snarky, Tess and Miller, friends since childhood, will entertain and warm your heart. The men are brave with brawn and do what's right, not necessarily what they're told to do!
Book three, here I come!

This is the second in the Gravediggers series. I enjoyed this book better than the last. While I felt that the story was less rushed in the beginning and more developed, the story did feel rushed at the end. Kind of like she had a set number of pages and wanted to hurry and squeeze everything into those pages. It was however a good read and I will definitely read upcoming installments of the series.

Elias Cole is a gravedigger and he only has one true mission, to destroy Eve Winters, the woman who stole his life from him. He was a Navy seal living out his dream until Eve set her sites on him for her Gravedigger project. She ruined his life and took away everything he loves. He life is now all about getting revenge on his boss, Eve. What Elias did not expect was to find someone like Miller Darling. She is everything that he wished for in his previous life, but nothing that he can have in this life. When Miller unexpectedly finds herself in a dire situation and she needs help saving herself and her brother, Elias has no choice but to step up to help her. Will Elias be able to give into his heart and allow things to develop with Miller, or will he let his anger and need for revenge to continue to rule his life?

Miller is shocked and fearful, but not altogether unsurprised at the trouble her brother has gotten into. Her parents were obsessive in their search for the treasures of King Solomon, and that fanatic type drive led to their deaths twenty years earlier. I enjoyed Gone to Dust so much! More than The Darkest Corner. Like I said, it was a fun adventure; action, beautiful settings, a gorgeous high tech yacht, and a strong capable alpha male like Elias to share it with. Miller is no slouch in the equation as far as characters go. She’s a romance writer, who may not have experienced the world first hand, but she’s researched the heck out of situations, and Miller’s imagination is rich with possibility, and useful information. Readers will definitely appreciate her occupation! The story was exciting, fun, with loveable characters and a smoking hot romance! I had a lot of fun with this fast, action packed ride!

I just need to come out and say it right from the beginning...I loved this book! Man, I haven't had so much fun reading a book in a long time. I laughed out loud so many times. Gone to Dust, isn't a romantic comedy, but the heroine is sarcastic and sassy in the best possible way!

I adored the heroine, Miller! She's full of snark and witty comebacks. But she's also a really great person. She's completely genuine and someone I would want to be friends with. I won't say too much, but the part where she rips the UPS guy a new asshole for knocking on her door is absolutely priceless, and belly laugh inducing! Oy! The things that come out of her mouth!

Elias is a swoon worthy hero. He's a bit broody, but delicious all at the same time. His sense of honour and duty is inspiring. Plus, he's hot, so that's enough for Miller's girlie bits to take notice.

The premise of this series is so exciting. A super secret agency of the worlds most highly trained operatives fighting to save us all from the really bad guys. I like the camaraderie between the team mates. They've essentially been forced into their roles within the Gravediggers, but the bond they've formed is by choice. Loyalty is first and foremost.

The whole time I was reading this book and going on this adventure with Miller and Elias through the Jungle, I was reminded of that movie from the 80's, Romancing the Stone. I love that movie!

While there is plenty of heart stopping action and adventure in this book, there is also a whole lot of romance. The steamy kind of romance that I crave in a book.

Liliana Hart outdid herself with this one. I've been a fan of her writing for years. But this book was incredible. The plot is stellar. I think this may be my favourite novel by Ms. Hart.

As always, because I'm ridiculously OCD when it comes to reading books in order, I think you should start at the beginning of the series with, The Darkest Corner, to get the best enjoyment. You can read this as a stand alone, but the whole premise of the series is set up in the first novel.

If you're looking for a book that has a heroine who is full of spit and vinegar, but is so damn likeable, and a hero who is sex on legs...read this!

The second in the Gravedigger series, Gone to Dust' just made me tingle. A mixture of Indiana Jones and Romancing the Stone makes this an absolute winner!

We met Miller and Elias in the first of this series and it was pretty obvious that they would get their own HEA. As a young adult of the mid 80s I was completely in love with Indiana Jones but those feelings have now transferred to Elias. Miller is one kick ass heroine and I want to be her when I grow up.

The dialogue between the two switches between cutting sarcasm to tender with a whole lot of hilarity in between! This is one of Liliana Hart's best works to date.

It's only book two, but I'm already in love with this series and these characters. One of the reasons I love Liliana Hart is her flair for developing unique storylines that just suck you in and characters you can't help but root for. The Gravediggers series is no exception. A group of men with exceptional skills from the most elite organizations in the world are pulled together to go after the worst of the worst. The only problem...they're all dead, at least as far as the world knows. Locked into a contract that sucks their lives dry of everything but their mission, any relationship they form puts the other person at risk. Not too long ago, Elias found himself acting on the insane chemistry he has with Miller. Just when things got really interesting, he came to his senses and ran. Miller was shocked, and she doesn't plan to forgive him any time soon regardless of how much she wants him.

A shocking package in Miller's mail changes everything. Her brother is in trouble, and she is the only one who can help him. Miller runs to her best friend for help not realizing that it's actually Gravediggers headquarters. When Elias overheard what Miller was getting into, there was no way he was going to end up letting her do it alone. Things are tense between them at first, but having to pose as a married couple erases much of the distance. The chemistry between them is intense, but so is the danger they face with no backup. To make things even more complicated, Miller just wants to save her brother, but she has no idea Elias has a score to settle.

This was another great story in this series. I can't wait to see who gets the next book and how it plays out.

GONE TO DUST is an amazingly exciting, fast-paced and entertaining mystery, heavy on the humor but light on the action we've come to expect, but soooo good you won't be able to stop reading until the end. When I read that this book was the author's tribute to the movie Romancing the Stone, I was not sure how Ms. Hart would be able to pull that off and still remain true to the concept of this series, but I have to say it really is a fitting tribute. Every page and every scene brought the movie to life without taking away from this story and while there was less action than I expected, I still enjoyed it a lot.

Elias Cole was a hero and legend before he became one of the Gravediggers. With a distinguished career as a Navy SEAL and a loving family, he had a very promising future, until the calculated machinations of the powers behind the team cost him all of it. Now Elias is a very angry man with one thing sustaining him: the desire for revenge against the person who cost his his life, which means he has no room for the emotions that Miller Darling stirs in him. But when she needs his skills to save her brother, he's not going to let her traipse off into the South American jungle without the back-up she needs.

Miller enjoys her eccentric lifestyle which fits her career choice, but beneath all of that is the little girl who lost everyone in her family to an obsession with finding ancient treasure and has since channeled her pain into creating fictional happy ever afters like she never had. Miller does not take rejection lightly and would not give Elias the time of day, except she needs him, in more ways than one.

I had a blast reading this book and laughed so hard at these characters. Miller has a wicked sense of humor and no filter, and her running commentary on pretty much everything was so much fun even when it was inappropriate. Seriously, it felt like I had the movie and the book on split screen.

Elias has the smoldering male thing going for him, but I liked that he was easygoing and laid-back, too. He took Miller's quirks in stride and gave her what her family never did: the knowledge that she meant something to someone. But being alone with Miller is a chance to know her better, and means accepting his feelings for her and making a choice between his happiness and vengeance, if they get out alive.

This book is certainly not to be missed and I really can't wait for the next book. More than anything though, Eve Winters is a very intriguing character and I hope we get a chance to explore this character in her own book.

Gone to Dust is book two in Liliana Hart’s Gravediggers series. We get to know Miller, best friend of Tess from book one, and Elias a member of the elite team that masquerades as workers at the funeral home where Tess is mortician. I loved that Miller is a romance author on deadline. She was understandably on edge, to say the least. She’s a romance author determined to never fall in love. Elias is of the same mind for different reasons. The fun was in how they came to a different mindset while searching for Miller’s brother. The plot was exciting and involved a drug cartel, artifacts once owned by King Solomon, and amazingly outfitted vehicles (train, yacht, etc) used by the Gravediggers. I enjoyed it all and recommend Gone to Dust to fans of Liliana Hart and romantic suspense.

Gone to Dust is the second book in the Gravedigger series but you can get along without reading the first book. Although there are gaps in the world building scenario that might confuse readers initially this are just little bumps in the overall story. It's a fast paced one but the opening pages will grab readers right away because of one Miller Darling. Her acerbic, feisty and eccentric personality and she happens to be a successful romance author carries the story until the end. Okay fine there are a bunch of fine looking uber alphas in the whole series, but for some unfathomable reason her libido gets a jumpstart with one Elias Cole. Elias is part of the ultra secretive Gravediggers and because of that getting involve with Miller is a bad, bad idea. But Miller needs help and Elias (reluctantly and just to piss of his superior) decides to offer his help in rescuing Miller's brother. What ensues is an action filled romantic suspense with great characters and fantastic dialogue and of course sexy times. Miller and Elias' bantering will have you laughing and the action will have you at the edge of your seat. Gone to Dust will have you hankering for the next book in the series.

This second installment of Grave Diggers was more entertaining than the last installment. Hart added a bit more excitement by putting in a touch of adventure in her story with a heroine that is described to be like so many authors I know. This heroine kept this book pretty entertaining.

Miller Darling just received a package about her brother that will send her to follow the tales of King Solomon and his treasure to save him. Being friends with Tess, who is well connected to the Gravediggers, gave Miller the advantage to getting help and protection from Elias. With a background in specialized military, Elias is just the guy to help her. Of course, Tess and Elias have known each other before. In fact, they’ve gotten up close and personal with each other and though the sexual tension between them is high, only now will they get the chance to really let go.

I didn’t plan to continue with this series after rating the last installment at three stars. However, with the heroine being a quirky romance writer and a mention of King Solomon’s treasure, I couldn’t stay away. Hart’s addition of Indiana Jones theme made this story fun, but still felt less of the suspense novel. There were a few exciting scenes that got me turning the pages, but it was Miller who really stole the show.

Miller cracked me up with her antics and her author minded ideas, not to mention smart comebacks. Her relationship with her UPS guy made me laugh and her constant note taking of what she can write about was hilarious.

Elias was equally entertaining. His denial and refusal to commit annoyed me at times, but I understood his reasons. Once he owned up to his feelings, he was uber sweet. Similar to the first book, this hero has Jason Bourne’s sexy persona.

Unfortunately, the ending/epilogue fell a little short for me. No spoiler here, but I thought the time jump could’ve been done better. It felt like there’s information that I missed and it would’ve been nice to know. I read an ARC copy, so it’s possible that the final copy might have been changed or updated. Still, rating this book a little higher than the last installment because Miller is a hoot!

OMG! Gone to Dust by Liliana Hart was an outstanding addition to the Gravediggers Series! It was another great combination of romance, adventure, and if you can believe it, humor!
Miller is a romance writer, and if you read the first book in the series, Tess’s best friend. Elias is a member of the Gravediggers team, and in his former life, a Navy SEAL. Miller is working on a deadline to finish her newest novel when she gets a disturbing letter indicating her brother is in BIG TROUBLE, and his and her lives are in danger. Miller thinks nothing of dropping everything to find him. Elias knows she won’t last long against a powerful drug cartel, so he decides to go with her. He’s got vacation time, but it will be a complicated mission, especially considering he and Miller have a complicated past. He rejected her not so long ago, and Miller certainly hasn’t forgotten it.
I love a good story with unforgettable characters, and this one has both! Miller and Elias are both EXTREMELY strong-willed and stubborn. That makes for a lot of fireworks, and you add in their chemistry and you have a situation that threatens to be explosive. You never know if they want to ravage or kill each other. You wouldn’t think a romantic thriller would be humorous, but Miller made me laugh so much! I have so many quotes highlighted that illustrate that. She and Elias really pushed each other’s buttons and certainly kept one another on their toes. However, underneath that, is a vulnerability in both of them. Each had a past that determined their future relationships. They don’t trust others easily and have never given 100 percent of themselves to anyone. I won’t go into that. It’s their story to tell readers, but I could completely understand why they didn’t trust easily. Elias’s story did nothing to thaw my feelings for his boss, Eve.
The storyline was heart-pounding and full of adventure. Hart did a phenomenal job of describing the places that Miller and Elias ended up. I could clearly see, smell, and feel everything. It was awesome. I felt like I was there with them. Her talent for descriptive writing kept the pages turning for me. I never knew what twist what be in store in the next chapter…add in the story of King Solomon…and you have one heck of an adventure.
I loved seeing the characters from the previous novel, and I love how she builds characters for her next novel. She leaves room not only for other characters but for her current and past characters. I wonder what their lives will be like when their allotted time will be up with Eve. And speaking of Eve, I hope Hart will give us her story. I’m so curious about what made her into the person she has become. You talk about a complicated and complex character, that’s Eve. Waiting for the next one in the series and hoping we won’t have to wait for too long.

Gone to Dust is the second book in Liliana Hart’s Gravediggers series. Just like the first one, The Darkest Corner, it was hard to put down. The characters are fun and witty. The action is intense but takes a back seat to all of the sexual tension between the main characters of Elias Cole and Miller Darling. They literally burn up the pages from start to finish.

Gravedigger Elias Cole is a former Navy Seal. Miller Darling is a successful romance novelist who rarely leaves her house unless it’s to meet up with her best friend Tess who is now married to Gravedigger Deacon. In order to really understand all of the relationships and the origin of the Gravediggers, you really have to read the first book. Miller is totally clueless in regards to the existence of the covert organization that is operating out of the only funeral home in Last Stop, Texas. Lots of things come to light the moment Miller receives a disturbing package from her brother, Justin. In that package, she learns that her brother has been kidnapped and is missing a finger. His kidnapping has to do with some ancient artifacts that their parents apparently died looking for. To add insult to injury, some armed men come after Miller. That’s when everything that Miller thought she knew to be true changes. In order to save Miller, the Gravediggers have to reveal themselves and what they are capable of. Being the writer that she is, Miller’s imagination collides with reality in a very funny way. The banter between Miller and Elias is interesting as she tries to understand what’s going on with them and their dilemma. You can’t help but root for them as they embark on a rescue mission for her brother.

I loved Gone to Dust and could go on and on but I have to give you an opportunity to find out for yourself how great this story is. It has an Indiana Jones feel to it at some points and at others it’s Mission Impossible. Either way, if you like some adventure mixed in with your romance, this is the series for you. I look forward to Say No More.

This is the second book in this series by this author. This is the first book by this author that I've read. This story has good chemistry and lots of humorous moments. This is definitely a page turner of a book, I just couldn't put this book down till I'd finished it then I was left wanting more. Fantastic characters which had amazing chemistry. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Miller Darling is one of the most popular romance novelists of her time. Not bad for a woman who doesn’t believe in romance. She’s as logical as they come, and she doesn’t believe in happily-ever-afters. The Gravediggers are an elite group of terrorist fighters from all walks of life and nationalities. Their boss doesn’t want them to get involved with Miller’s problems but one of them, Elias, agrees to take vacation to help Miller. Miller and Elias had gone on a date at one point and had gotten hot and heavy until he just suddenly walked away.

Miller was pissed at him and doesn’t want to have to be close to him in any way but agrees to his help. Miller and Elias face many dangers in South America – kidnapping, the dangers of nature and drug lords. These dangers force Miller and Elias to talk and figure out their issues. Elias is focused on getting revenge on Eve, the lady who screwed up his life in order to get him into the Gravediggers. Dating Miller would take that focus away and he walked away before he couldn’t. Once he was with Miller he realized that his feelings for her were such that he couldn’t walk away even if he wanted to.

The story was a good one and was exciting. There were a few lag points in the book but not too many. Elias and Miller were great together and I loved that they played off of each other so very well. The end of the book was pretty abrupt and I didn’t care for that at all. I was left with too many questions! Maybe the author intended for those to be answered in the next book but I found it incredibly frustrating.

Overall it was a good story. I didn’t read the first book and didn’t feel I needed to in order to understand this one.

What a great series!!!! Love the gravediggers!! So much suspense, romance and thrills! Both books in this series so far have been exceptional! I have never read anything by Liliana Hart but now she is on my must read list!!!

Liliana Hart’s second installment, Gone to Dust, of the Gravedigger series is just as fantastic as the first. I have to say if you love any of her other series you will LOVE this one. I can’t wait for the next!

Miller Darling is a romance writer out to find her missing SEAL brother that has been taken by the drug cartel. Elias Cole is a former SEAL forced to become part of the elite Gravedigger group. Together the sparks fly and they go on one heck of an adventure. Be sure to check this out.

On another note: I totally have a new found appreciation for all of the authors out there. So, thank you so much for everything you go through Liliana to make this fantastic work of literature!

This is more my kind of book much better than book 1.I enjoyed this book a lot. Strong plot with some mystery in it and really strong characters.

Miller Darling romance author. She is Tess's best friend (book one) and in Last Stop she is the town eccentric. She lives life the way she wants to and also lives more in her own world and the world that she writes in then anything else.

I liked Miller but at times she whined when there was no reason to whine. There were some life and death situations and she started rambling about random shite and that she wanted her laptop. Woman you are on the run how do you think that you are going to write one word let alone finish your book. But she dealt well with the hand that she was given and is a solid heroine in my book.

Elias is a Gravedigger, he died only to be reborn again. It was never planned to what happened to him but some choices are taken out of our hands. He was setup and branded a traitor all thanks to Eve just to get him on the team. As a Navy SEAL he is the best of the best.

He wants revenge so although the chemistry is off the charts between our two MC his plan is to get rid of Eve Winter. His main and top priority. He tries to walk away from Miller as he doesn’t want to have the added complication of a relationship.

Miller gets into a spot of bother thanks to her brother Justin who has taken on the family legacy. Finding King Solomon's treasure there is only one small problem. It's in cartel territory and you don't mess with the Black Widow and Emilio. Justin although also a Navy SEAL decides to do just that. He is fanatical about his quest for the treasure.

The banter in this book is stronger than in the previous one. I think that due to the characters being different I preferred the vibe that was given off here. A very long time ago when I was younger I watched Romancing the Stone, that film from 1985 with Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas. It had some strong vibes in relation to that. I loved that film.

Ms. Hart has a unique writing style which I don’t always get on with but that is just me. When she lays off the descriptive writing and get more dialogue than I am all for it. Book 3 is out soon and I’m not convinced with the combi of who Dante will be up against. It could be interesting but execution here is the key.

Imagine my surprise when I started this book. I was trying to figure out how Colin was going to make his entrance when it was clear Miller and Elias belonged together. But then the back cover blurb changed and it was all made clear.

Miller, Tess's best friend and romance author, got left high and dry by Elias. Let's just say she was not happy about it. And so begins Gone to Dust.

The second installment of the Gravediggers series was a marked improvement over the first. The characterization was much better. There was less info-dumping. The plot didn't wait til the 50% mark to get interesting. But the pacing still dragged badly.

Miller and Elias seriously had the smolder going on. They are hot for each other but Elias isn't having any of it. Until he can't hold out any more. The heat was a factor in more than one way. But there is simply no question, Elias and Miller were meant to be. They steamed up the pages even when they weren't indulging in sexy times, especially when they weren't indulging in sexy times. It was as much a mental as physical seduction.

By the end of the book, I knew them. In contrast to Tess and Deacon who I never really felt I knew, Miller and Elias have great backstories. Motivations, pain, connections: each of them come into this with strong characters. They don't have arcs in the sense that they change by the end of the book, but they do find ways to be who they are with each other. This is huge!

The plot was much stronger than The Darkest Corner and it was intensely personal. The very nature of the plot made it more interesting. But it was also far more morally ambiguous than in The Darkest Corner. In a way, it's a collision of three worlds: Elias's, Miller's, and King Solomon's. They way the collide is explosive, breathtaking, and deeply personal and painful for both Miller and Elias. The majority of the plot is focused solely on Miller and Elias with minimal interaction with other characters and that gives it an intensity and focus that helps to keep the character-centric aspects and helps to push the plot along.

While the dominant quality of The Darkest Corner seemed to be the shadowy nature of the Gravediggers, the theme of Gone to Dust seemed to be the moral ambiguity of it. From Elias's experiences as a sniper to Eve Winters's actions to Miller's family life: there just was no black and white and mostly it was very dark shades of grey. Trust is in short supply and ruthlessness is the name of the game. Exploitation, cruelty, ends justifying the means: this is not a fair world and sometimes even the people nominally on your side are not the good guys. There was a lot of ugliness showcased here.

But on top of all of that was that life is precious, take happiness while you can. And so Elias and Miller take life together.

I'm eager to read Say No More, Dante's story but my heart is still with Colin. I will say though, that Gone to Dust has certainly raised by curiosity about Eve and I wonder if that curiosity will be satisfied.

Miller was in her upstairs office totally in the zone writing a love scene in her new book when she heard the doorbell which really annoyed her when she had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on her front door. She ran down to her front door and not happily and lent some frustration spew on the UPS man. Miller new the mood was broke now and it could take hours to get back in the zone and start again where she had left off with her love scene. Miller decided since the mood was broke she needed a shower and some food. She knew she looked and probably smelt bad but when Miller was deep in writing a story she forgot about most day to day activities. Miller was not a one night stand type of woman but it had been a while the last man she thought something might start had got her hot and bothered and left her hanging- Elias Cole - by walking away. The meaning of Miller’s life was writing romances women dreamed of. Miller never expected to find that kind of love nor did she really want to. She preferred her relationships fun with great sex while they lasted and then to remain friends once the relationship was over.Miller had never had a broken heart and didn’t want one. Her parents had traveled the world and her older brother- Justin-by four years- stayed home with Miller. Now her parents were dead and the only family as well as stability Miller had was Justin. Miller knew she was a control freak , her work fulfilled her and an occasional man satisfied Miller. Tess was Miller’s best friend and they had known each other since grade school and she managed Last Chance Funeral Home. and Tess was also a newlywed. After a shower Miller went through her mail and there was a letter from her brother. But then she opened the package from the UPS man and found her brother’s ring that their father had given him before he left for the last trip their parents ever left for and as she went more into the package she found what looked to be a real human finger. Miller immediately went to Tess and she told Miller it was real. He worked at the funeral home with other hot guys including Tess’s new husband. Elias had been a Navy Seal sniper and is also a Gravedigger as was Tess’s husband. There was also a letter from Emilio Cordova who said Justin had found the King Solomon’s table and and would not tell Emilio where the table is and that is was her brother’s finger in the package . Emilio wanted Miller to go to him and convince Justin to tell him. If she did not go then Emilio would send more body parts to her, Emilio also believes that Justin has been sending clues in his letters to Miller.
I absolutely loved this story. I read the first book of the series and was more than glad to read this book and loved it. I loved the plot and the action. I also hope to read the third and however many more will be in this series. The pace was great as was the writing. I loved how the Gravediggers had each other’s back even going against Eve. I loved how Elias tried to hang on his thirst for revenge but love won out over the wanting revenge. I was definitely didn’t want to to set the book down so yeah it had my attention all the way through and I also loved Miller’s smart mouth. I also loved Miller and Elias together. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.
