We used this duringWe took the time to use this all through the school year as that is how it is written. It was absolutely wonderful. Both of our children went through a great deal this school year and this really helped them to keep God focused in how they dealt with and responded to these events. Additionally, it helped them to deal with their disabilities and medical issues that continued to plague them throughout the year. These studies really allowed our family to discuss all these things from a Godly perspective instead of an easily found, more worldly one. If you are looking for something to really help your family to connect on a regular basis and pull together closely, this is it. We even found ourselves really going back to the beginning a few times to address fear and the "giants" in our lives. I highly recommend this for all families. It can easily be used regardless of the span of your children's ages and development levels.

Featuring a different trait or action each week, this book brings a sense of continuity to your homeschool teacher. With only two minutes each morning, you can start out the day with a good frame of mind, and continue to be mindful of practicing that character quality all week long. There are suggestions for helping the kids develop the quality, as well as thinking questions. There are only 36 weeks included - as the book takes breaks, just like your homeschool does. Overall, well planned out and written.

Excellent. This devotional is ideal for homeschoolers or teachers who work in Christian schools. Each devotional is short enough to keep students' attention and includes Bible verses and stories of famous people (such as Corrie Ten Boom). I found the short devotional engaging and interesting. These aren't too wordy so they will keep students' attention and focus. Very well done. I highly recommend this book.
