This book is much more than erotica (although there is plenty of that), it has family drama, relationship struggles, and a healthy dose of am I good enough? I enjoyed the main male character Austin tremendously, but Evelyn, our female main character was insufferable. She was petty, exhausting, and difficult. I never really connected with what made her so special, other than her perfect hourglass figure, of course. Third in their relationship, Russ wasn't very developed and only got interesting as the book finished. I thought the writing was fantastic, pleasantly surprised actually, although the ending was so abrupt it soured the experience.

This three person romance was disjointed and odd. I got the interaction between Austin and Evelyn. I got the interaction between Ross and Evelyn. But I did not feel the tie between all three. It wasn't a great story. But the love scenes were hot.

I received a copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review.
- You'd think, by reading this story, that they were all teenagers by the way they are acting.
- Evelyn is in her mid-twenties, Austin is near thirty and Ross is around forty. The mother who's about fifty, and the ex-girlfriend who is also near thirty are all included in this "new adult" story.
- Evelyn is self-centered, selfish, she has an act going on and won't let go. She is never good enough, even proven multiple times by both partners, will never budge to anyone or anything, will not repent or ask forgiveness and meaning it because she insults at the same time she ask for forgiveness.
- Austin can't say no to his mother or his ex. Apart from that I think he should have put Evelyn back in her place so she could align like an adult.
- Ross is torn inside and won't let his emotions flow.
- The mother and ex are manipulative women like you've never seen.
- I was fed up by 45%, but like any avid reader I wanted to know the end, which is not really an end and did not solve any of the previous problems. It's not because you kiss and makeup that the problems dissolve. Here again, Evelyn says "you deserve so much better than me".
- What is it with all this crying? She cries when she's kissed or made love to, she cries because she's mad or happy, or my gosh, she cries all the time.
- Quoting the book: Your endless need to play poor little girl is getting old - indeed.
- This is my 1st and last book from this author.

This wasn't for me. I didn't like the story or the characters, maybe Ross a little but not enough to save my opinion of the story.

This book had so much potential, but it fell incredibly short.

First off Evelyn...I hated her. I just could not relate to her, I found her to be a complete and utter mess. Her mood swings and need to be the center of attention made her very difficult to relate to.

Second: the time jumps...they made the story very difficult to follow. You jump in time anywhere from a few days to 3 months which only a minimal glimpse into what happened during the time frame.

Third: Ross. While I loved his character and truly thought he deserved so much better, the introduction of him was off. Evelyn is fantasizing and dreaming about him after Austin mentioned that they used to share women. She's never met the guy and there's no mention of her even seeing a picture of him yet he's staring in her dreams? I get fantasizing and dreaming about her and Austin having a threesome with someone (or even with him) but the details in which the fantasy took placed seemed unrealistic to me.

Fourth: The ending. WTF?!?!?!? It was unfinished. We get no closure whatsoever. In fact in the previous chapter Ros says he's already planning on where he's going to land next. Yet the book ends?!?!? There's not even an Epilogue giving us a clue into how they make this work long term.

I loooooooved this book! I thought the characters were interesting and dynamic. The sparks were hot! Only criticism is I feel like the book ended suddenly, there wasn't a whole lot of wrap up and I found that slightly jarring.

Tapped was a hot & steamy read. The characters were entertaining & the story was interesting. Evelyn did drive me a bit nuts sometimes because emotionally she was all over the place.

This is a fun start to a new series. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I guess I should have looked harder for the erotic notation. Sorry I didn't realize until I started the book.

Tapped was really great. It was fun, sexy, and the characters were so well written. The story flowed together really well, and left me wanting more with every page turn!

Tapped provides a quick read with lots of steam! As Austin and Evelyn fight to make their relationship work in the face of family drama and a stressful working environment, Ross may be the solution to the strain they feel and finally make their picture complete.
