This series was pretty interesting, but ultimately didn't quite land for me. It's another one for which I can't quite put my finger on why I didn't like it more. It's got decent writing, plot, and characters. But, for some reason, I never generated much enthusiasm for it as I would have expected. But, I read them, and they're not bad.

Chaos, complete chaos of thought, and the future hangs in the balance of the past. This is it, the Prophecy has been understood, dark, ominous and terrifying. If Aranfal cannot stop Ruin, all of memory will become a living Hell. But how does one find the one memory that can save the world?

Its game on through a jungle of phantoms, mis-memories and monsters as Gerrard Cowan puts a wrap on this trilogy with THE MEMORY. The machinery has broken down, or has it been altered by Ruin’s growing powers?

This is it, humanity, the pawns in a game of destruction and corruption are on the losing side, unless one last multi-pronged quest is fulfilled and THE MEMORY that is lost, is found.

Hardcore, fantasy realms filled with multiple webs of intrigue and a cast of divergent characters reappearing and redefining themselves, will have readers hanging on to every word. Gerrard Cowan’s wicked imagination skills and his power to create a world of entangled plots and subplots is a total escape from reality! Not for the faint of heart, this trilogy is for staunch fantasy lovers!

I received a complimentary ARC edition from HarperVoyager!
