Amber is a lady who is tired of being ignored. She comes from a poor background and is determined to get rich and be seen as a force to be reckoned with...no matter who she has to screw over to reach her goal.
She plans an encounter with the very rich Daphne Parrish and concocts a friendship with her goal being to seduce the super rich Jackson Parrish and make sure she becomes his bride.
I have to say this book was a real thrill. I love how it was split into 2 POV’s in Amber and Daphne, it really kept the book from becoming stale. The layers of Daphne’s marriage are peeled back like an onion, each layer becoming more twisted and engrossing than the last.
I really liked Daphne and felt for her, and although you thought her children precocious at first, you realise the dark meaning behind some of the behavioural problems.
Amber was a vicious little minx. Determined and utterly led by her devious ambitions, I disliked her intensely!
The storyline does become a little far fetched, but even in this I enjoyed how underhanded both women became to achieve their goals.
This book is dark, twisty, over the top and indulgent and I loved it.
I cannot wait to see what these sister authors come up with next!
I would like to thank Netgalley and Harper Collins for an ARC of this book in exchange for a review.

This multiple character viewpoint novel is utterly brilliant! For the first part of the book I feel a little disappointed despite the book being well written...because it all seemed 'too easy'. Then the character viewpoint switched and I understood why. Really impressed by the unexpected twist. If this book was a movie I would have watched it from behind my fingers - utterly compelling and disturbing.

Amber Patterson watches Daphne Parrish in the gym everyday. Some might say she wants to be Daphne Parrish, or that she wants Daphne Parrish's life. Whilst both of those things may be true, Amber wants not to be Daphne Parrish, per see, but she definitely wants to be Mrs. Parrish.
Amber wants Daphne's husband, Jackson Parrish, and she won't stop until she gets him.
Amber is clever, comes across a sweet girl, perhaps a little naive. She ingrains herself into the Parrish's life quickly, becoming best friend and confidant to Daphne, and a welcome distraction for Jackson.
She assists Daphne with the daily running of her charity and ensures that she is the only "friend" Daphne can truly rely on. Amber is no friend to Daphne...
With her sights firmly set on Jackson she goes out of her way to make him notice her, but so subtly that no one around them notices.
Soon enough the pair are embarking on an affair, but Amber knows she must be careful if she is to truly ensnare Jackson in the tangled web she weaves.
But Daphne Parrish is no fool, and she won't be taken by one for anybody. Amber may well have underestimated her rival, but is it too late for Daphne to save her marriage? And does she even want to?
Split into Daphne's and Amber's perspectives, the last Mrs. Parrish is a novel that will have you taking a sharp intake of breath at a certain point, because no matter what you thought was going to happen... you will still be suprised!

What a gripping thrilling read! This is certainly an addictive read, so much so I read late into the night to finish it. I had no idea as to what the outcome would be. A brilliant twist .

Amber Patterson has a plan. She wants a rich handsome a generous husband. Jackson Parrish ticks all those boxes and then some. There's only one problem - he's already married to Daphne Parrish. But Amber isn't one to let such little trifles get in her way. Her plan begins by insinuating herself into Daphne's life, becoming her friend with an aim to catch Jackson's eye. But a secret from her past could ruin her chances for getting her perfect life....
Gripping from the very first page this novel is split into three parts. Amber's story, Daphne's then the telling of the aftermath. Amber's is great but it's really Daphne's part that brings all the pieces together. The only problem with this book is it's too long. I think that this is because it's a little too hung up on describing Daphne and Jackson's riches and lifestyle and sometimes this detracted from the story. But ultimately it's an enjoyable story that is a less of mystery/thriller and more women's fiction.

You want the life you think you deserve, but how far will you go to achieve it?
Amber is fed up of being nobody, and befriends Daphne who has everything she wants. But will Amber be able to pull it off, and is being Mrs. Parrish all it's cracked up to be?
Amazing who done it story, totally didn't see the twists and turns coming and read in two sittings.

A book of 3 parts, nicely surprising.
Amber Patterson inveigles herself into the life of wealthy Daphne Parrish. Little snippets of her past are dropped in, and we know she's up to no good. But is the lovely Daphne quite as nice and trusting as we're lead to believe?
This is a story that's easy to lose yourself in, with one of those characters we love to hate. Enjoy!

Dark and creepy. This is the kind of book to read faster to see what happens , at the same time as not wanting it to end. I had no idea how all the ends would get tied up, but WOW !!!!! I loved it

A really good page turner. One of those books which evokes your tingly spidery senses because you know it isn't right, but it isn't quite clear what isn't right!
Well written. Thoroughly engaging.

What a great read. Highly recommend, not everything is always as it seems.

My thanks to Netgalley and Harper Collins UK Publishers for an advanced copy of this book to review fairly and without bias.
AS a debut thriller this has the hallmark of an experienced and adapt thriller writer. The twists and turns keep you guessing, the structure is ingenious and splitting the plot over two narrators is a good idea. I am remined of Nicci Frenchs' collaboration. If the authors are plotting further thrillers I say 'bring them on' and hopefully they will retain the freshness and enthusiasm they brought to this volume. Five stars all day.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Big twist which really made you think! Things are not always what you think they are and it's easy to make assumptions! Looking forward to the next Liv Constantine book. Definitely one for my list of authors to read. Thank u

Amber worms her way into Daphne’s life with a lie. Daphne is married to the rich and powerful Jackson. They have two daughters and everything you could wish for. Amber has come from nothing and wants everything that Daphne has. The first part of the book is told from Amber’s POV. Amber is not a very nice person but the author managed to portray her in a way that didn’t make this part of the book unreadable. The second half of the book was mainly Daphne’s POV. I found this part of the book less enjoyable. I had guessed what was going on and found some of the things that Daphne did unbelievable. The book flowed really well and I really enjoyed it,

I loved this book. The author(s!) were not known to me before this book but I'll certainly be looking out for their work in future.
It's difficult to review this in detail without giving the plot away so what I will say is that I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of the book and it only got better from there. Part two had me gripped from start to finish. Part three neatly wrapped everything up, without unnecessary detail.
This book properly grabbed my attention and didn't let me go 'til the end. I was sad to get to the end of it.
Thanks for letting me preview it. Highly recommended and will have general appeal to all types of fiction readers.

This book greatly surpassed my expectations.
Every chapter was more gripping than the last. I didn't think it could get better than Amber's narration but when the P.O.V flipped, the intensity went up yet another level.
The characters were so well-written, I kind of rooted for all of them, even the twisted bitch Amber.
I thoroughly enjoyed the writing. It could be a little bit clunky at times but the content massively over-shadowed it and the fact there were two writers was not evident at all. They make perfect co-authors.
The twists and turns in this book put a wanton smirk on my face all the way through, leading me to the most satisfying ending I've read in a long time. The entire concept of The Last Mrs. Parrish is genius and I can't wait to read more from Liv Constantine.

Overall I think the story line was rather clever and well thought out. It did however seem a bit 'expected' and didn't come as any surprise that the story was going to be written from two perspectives, with the played playing the player.
I also found a lot of the dialogue unrealistic. It just didn't feel real. Like the dialogue was used to portray something only, but was not representative of a true conversation.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review....... A fantastically written novel that i thoroughly enjoyed! There's two sides to this story and I read the first part assuming that I knew what was gonna happen. Boy was I wrong! A thrilling dark twist that I certainly didn't expect! An absolute must read!

Great psychological thriller which I couldn't put down.. Daphne Parrish has a fantastic life with a loving rich husband who wants her to have all the best things in life. They have two delightful daughters, a beautiful home, staff and everything she could want in life. Amber Patterson comes into her life and wants what she has. Amber lives on her own in what she describes as a hovel and she wants much more.
Amber targets Daphne and becomes her best friend. She tries to become part of the smart set and the tale is told from both sides of the uneasy friendship.
The twist at the end is very unexpected and makes this a brilliant book.

I really enjoyed this story. Amber is a calculating liar, who befriends rich Daphne with the sole intention of stealing her handsome husband and massive wealth. But is everything as it seems and who is calling the shots? Can't say much more without spoilers, but it's a real page turner! Thanks to NetGalley for a preview copy.

Loved this book. Loved the premise of the book, it was enthralling and so clever. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Daphne was so likeable and I had no clue what was going to transpire. Thought the ending was perhaps a bit too-far but I loved the book regardless.
