When Leelu moves to London with her mum and brother, she is struck by loneliness and is overwhelmed entirely by London, she misses her dad more than anything in the world and all she wants is to go back to her previous home. Until one day when Leelu finds strange magical objects that have seemingly been hidden in places just for her to find which grant her the ability to make her wishes start to come true.
A story of the importance of female friendship at a young age and the relief that it can provide from all terrible circumstances, this novel is infused with essences of magical realism and is perfect for fans of Katherine Rundell and Emma Carroll.
