Sorry. Could not force to finish this. I found it very slow.

This looks cute and fun but actually I found it rather irritating: it's a personal memoir barely disguised as a novel telling how the author met her husband when he was homeless and smelly - no, not just smelly but so stinkingly rancid that though she wanted to kiss him, the smell made her retch... it's a hard sell to build a romance on that!

Add to that lots of humour that falls flat, and this didn't work for me. There's certainly a warm message about being non-judgemental and Ben washes up beautifully but I couldn't really get behind this book - sorry!
