What an absolutely beautiful story! I didn’t cry like I thought I would but it still got me. I was so invested in Jess, Adam and William I just became obsessed with this audiobook. I had to listen to it every spare opportunity I got as I need to know everything would be as ok as it could be.

A beautiful tale of what one mother will do for her son, and herself. A story of building new bridges and building on what was already there. A story of regret, love, loss, acceptance and forgiveness. Forgiveness here is so pivotal. It is one of the spines of the story.

The sense of family and love is also so strong. The love and adoration jess has for her mum was beautiful and heartbreaking and her Dad. Well, he always tried to do his best. But both her parents adored her and did whatever they could for her.

I loved the setting of the Dordogne, and I really want to visit it for sure! It sounded beautiful and every area they went to. It seemed a lot of fun through the eyes of the characters

One of the special things about this book is that it’s real. Every aspect of this book is real, so much so, you wouldn’t be surprised if you were told this story by a friend or if you lived it. After reading the book, well that cover is just even more pivotal and special and all the more so endearing to the tale. I don’t have the words to do this any justice, I just adored it. All I will say is who wouldn’t love an Adam, despite his first failings.

And if nothing else, just Remember. (read the book to find out)

Really enjoyable. Bit slow to start with but I enjoyed reading about the relationships between everyone in the story from family & friends to lovers. Ending was a bit predictive but all in all a good story

I really liked the premise of this, and I saw the author at a book event and she was very engaging but I just lost interest half way through. I was mildly interested to find out whether the main character has the faulty gene but not enough to try to get into it a second time. Not for me. Sorry!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to read and review this book.

After losing and replacing my broken Kindle and getting a new phone I was unable to download the title again for review as it was no longer available on Netgalley.

I’m really sorry about this and hope that it won’t affect you allowing me to read and review your titles in the future.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.
Natalie.

I read You, Me, Everything when it first came out with aim to review it.
But life happened and I postponed and postponed my review writing until I realized I didn’t feel comfortable to give it proper review, because the book wasn’t fresh in my mind anymore.
But I loved it so much.

Then I decided to reread this masterpiece and even though I rated it 5 stars the first time I read it, I can say I appreciate it so much more the second time around.

What changed is I became a parent and I understand now the things I didn’t before, and I can say that I read You, Me, Everything with a new perspective.

This is the book where the characters make the readers appreciate their own lives.
Maybe it sounds dramatic, but once you give this book a chance, you’ll understand where I’m coming from.

The writing style was amazing, like it always is when it comes to Jane Costello (Catherine Isaac is pseudonym).
The story is written in first person.

I know there was movie production for this story, but I don’t know where it stands right now.
However, I hope we’ll get a chance to see You, Me, Everything on big screen.

I definitely recommend this one!

"You and me, we have history. We have a child together. We have kept secrets from each other for far too long. This summer, in the beautiful hills of the Dordogne, it is time for everything to change."

Jess is struggling as a single parent with a sickly mother to deal with and decided it is time her son, William, got to know his Father and vice versa. So they set off to France to stay with her ex Adam at his place for the summer, with family and friends tagging along. The descriptions of the countryside living in France and simple way of life made this a lovely, if slightly predictable, holiday read for me. The nuances of teenage life with the IPad struggle and trying to keep them amused and engaged on a holiday resonated with me from my own experiences and I could sympathise.

A gentle read, but enjoyable nonetheless.

A good, light-hearted read that makes you think about life and what’s important.

I enjoyed this book, it was one where I could leave it for a day without reading but when I picked it back up I knew exactly what was happening and what had happened.

The bond between Jess and her son William was lovely, it reminded me of the bond I have with my 9 year old son. Part of me wanted to hate Adam but deep down I couldn’t.

I’m looking forward to this being released as a film.

Oh this book made me sob
But not in a sentimental way!
Jess is trying to get her ex Adam to have a stronger relationship with his absent father Adam and they are doing so by visiting him at his luxurious holiday complex in the Dordogne.
It appears to be the usual rom com until we start to see the reasons why Jess needs Adam to up his game.
Beautiful setting and characters
4.5 stars.

An amazing book!!!
OMG. Where to start? So the story is good, the storyline is wellbuilt, characters are so catching and there are so many hard topics and it put me in an emotional roller coster several times. Ohh and of course I am in love with the characters.

Must read, that’s for sure.

I have loved all of the books Catherine Issacs (writing as Jane Costello) but this is the by far my favourite novel by her.

Jess is trying to get her ex (and also the father of her child to bond) at last, whilst dealing with her own problems, and those of her family’s too. I don’t want to give too much away of the plot.

I love the characters, Jess is beautiful, lovely and strong. So many other interesting characters, you can see why Jess fell for Adam despite his many flaws.

This novel deals with Huntington’s Diesease, which Catherine has written beautifully. You Me Everything conveys this without being overly depressive. This book is wonderfully written and an emotional book. I didn’t want to stop reading once I had started, despite the tears (it doesn’t take much to make me cry) this book definitely pulled at my heart strings.

You Me Everything is a brilliant read, with a rollercoaster of emotion as. One of my top 5 reads of this year.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in return for an honest and fair review. Thank You

I had heard a lot of hype about this book mainly as Catherine Issac is the lovely Jane Costello writing under a new guise! I adore Jane's writing and The Love Shack still has the ability to make me roar with laughter after even the 3rd read. So I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about reading a book with a change of direction. I hate the term chick-lit, but that is usually the banner that Costello's books tend to fall under, so this new more serious turn made me wonder if I would enjoy it so much.
None of the above it turned out needing worrying about and I was soon devouring the story. It has the same warmth and humour that are present in Costello's books with added drama and some serious issues that required tissues.

Jess is a happy single Mum to William. Adam - Williams Father lives in France running his new Château. He sends the odd inappropriate present to William like a bike that's too big, but other than that Jess and William muddle on together quite well. That is until Jess' Mum - Susan - who is battling Huntingdons Disease tells Jess that it is her dying wish that William gets to know his Father better.
So Jess finds herself driving to France to spend the summer with Adam at the château where he runs a hotel.

This is a rather special book about feeling, relationships and learning to forgive the past. I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more by Catherine Issac.

Thank you to Simon and Schuster and the author for my copy which I have reviewed honestly.

This was the perfect feel-good read - a romantic comedy which didn't feel overly romantic but rather highly relatable. I am so pleased for Isaac that it is being turned into a film as this will bring the story to an even wider audience. I look forward to revisiting the characters on the screen!

I had heard great things about this book - and they were all true! I didn't massively like the cover when I first saw it but it made a lot of sense once i had read the blurb!

This is the story of Jess who has a 10 year old son ( William) . Its years since Will spent quality time with his father so Jess is taking him to spend time at his holiday complex in France. The Idea is Jess's mom as the future is never guaranteed and Williams Dad(Adam) left when he was young so missed out on his childhood.
Jess finds that Adam still hasn't grown up and he has a young model on his arm who takes priority over Will, much to Jess's horror. Jess left UK knowing her mom is not well and her Dad is battling to look after her so to find Adam isn't dotting on Will as she does, totally destroys her. Soon the tide turns and not all is lost for Jess or William.
The story is brilliantly written and the reader has so much that the pages just keep turning... H.D is explained in such away that the reader can understand without being bogged down with mechanical terms. This is a story that touches every nerve for the reader and also leaves them wanting more.. I could not express how good this book is and how much it touch my whole being.

The is a great book. I loved the characters, the story and the location,
It was a shame it had to end - loved the simplicity.

When writing a book review, I never know where to start - with this one, I know exactly what to say at the beginning, and really, it's all you need to know about the book IT'S BLOOMIN' BRILLIANT!!

I've read many books this year, and I always finish them and think "that's my favourite book so far this year" but honestly - this one is up there in my top 5, but a good indicator is that it only took me three days to completely devour this book.

The story starts with young Jess giving birth to her son William, with her Mum at her side as her partner Adam, the baby’s father, is off galivanting with another woman. Then we roll forward ten years, Adam and Jess have gone their separate ways, she now lectures at a Sixth Form College and Adam has moved to France, where he has bought a run-down Chateau, renovated it, and turned it in holiday accommodation. With her mum now in a care home, she implores Jess to build bridges with Adam and get him to develop a relationship with his son, so Jess and William pack up the car and set off for a summer in France.

This is a story ram-packed with betrayal, romance and tragedy. The story goes along at a really nice pace, and you don’t ever get the feeling that the author is padding any bits out, it’s just beautifully crafted.

I don’t think I’m going to forget about Jess and William for a long time and would certainly love a follow up novel to see how they are getting on.

*I was given a free copy of this book in return of an honest and open review

I utterly adored this book. Ant fans of Me Before You will find themselves entranced here. My heart went out to Jess, everytime you feel it can't possibly get worse for her you're proven sadly wrong.
