One of my favourite bands of the 80's (and one of the best) and then again when in the early 21st Century they reformed. I also loved their solo careers so was really looking forward to reading this autobiography of the life and times of the Go-Betweens and the two guys who drove the band. Not the greatest writing and I felt a little confusing at times but Robert's personal tribute to his friend and songwriting partner Grant Mclennan is heartfelt and true. Such sadness that Grant left before his time.
Probably the greatest band never to given that accolade. Life can sometimes be cruel.

I like the Go-Betweens and my mother had some connection with Lindy Morrison's mother, but I couldn't get into this book. It seemed to take a long time to get going! I may try again later.
