Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for the opportunity to read this book in return for my honest opinion.

This was a wonderful summer weekend read, a nice change from all the thrillers I have been reading. I loved both the present and past stories in this book, I liked the way it was told in "flashbacks" attached to an item or area. The pull between Elodie and Alex was way too obvious, I don't know how they didn't see it earlier but of course, it played well with the story and I guess it would have been pretty short if they had hooked up in chapter one, but I felt there could have been more conflict between them. I loved the locket with the love knot, I remember my grandmother telling me of this practice when I was younger, what a lovely piece of history.

I have read a few of this author's books and have enjoyed them all, cannot wait to read many more, they always leave me with a smile in my heart and on my face.

Alex Aldrich, the Earl of Hartsford, when his mother had abandoned him and his sister three ladies looked after the children, one of these ladies was Elodie's mom. she and Alex had been friends since primary school. Elodie Bright also had a gift.
The characters were wonderful, they seemed to grow as the story went along and you were drawn into their tale right away. I loved this, it moved so flawlessly, was effectively paced and extremely well written. It is entirely worth the time to read.

A wonderful little time slip tale where the distant past and present switch back and forth seamlessly. I came across this book in my Goodreads recommendations and I AM so glad that I picked it up. I've never read this author, which made me cautious, but I really enjoyed the previous Choc Lit book I read so I decided to give this one a whirl.

This book will sneak right in to the tiniest pieces of your heart and leave an imprint that you won't soon forget. I adored the characters and swooned over the story line. I have a weakness for paranormal novels and this one hits every mark.

Watch for Me by Moonlight is a very well written book. I enjoyed the plot immensely although historical novels. are not my favorite genre. This is a new to me author and I enjoyed her writing and predict that I will be reading more of her work.

Elodie Bright and Alexander Aldrich, Earl of Hartsford since his father had passed away, had been separated by circumstances for ten years – but Elodie’s return was meant to be. The night of the violent storm over Hartsford Hall, when the roof of the chapel collapsed and destroyed Georgiana Kerridge’s tomb marked the beginning and the end of dark mysteries and even darker secrets.

Elodie had always had the uncanny ability to “see” spirits – a cat who’d been a resident; an old woman walking down the nearby lane; but it had never frightened her. But when both Elodie and Alex started to experience flashbacks, almost as if it was they themselves who were experiencing the events – the mystery of the ancestors of the Hall from the 1700s started to make itself clear. Georgiana had a secret past; a love so strong but one which was forbidden – and it was the guilt of another who was trying to make amends…

Watch For Me by Moonlight is my first novel by Kirsty Ferry and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Wonderfully written in both past and present day; set in England in the countryside of Suffolk, which I’ve never visited but could easily visualise – the characters of both Elodie and Alex were exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending Watch For Me by Moonlight highly, and will be looking for more by this author.

With thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my digital ARC to read and review.

I have read very few stories that manage to weave "present day" so seamlessly with events that have happened in the past. However, this story manages to do just that. There is just enough "paranormal" events to add to my overall enjoyment of the story. I enjoyed watching as Elodie and Alex learned Georgiana's "true story", all of the dark times included. I also felt that the author managed to convey the "past" while being in the present in a way that was not confusing to the reader. I knew at all times when I was seeing past memories or events, and when I was in present day.

One thing that I wish was better explained was the genealogy after the fact. From the way earlier events were described, I was half wondering if Elodie and Alex were in fact related somewhere down the line as well.

Overall, I am sure this story will appeal to those who enjoy romance novels that have a bit of the paranormal tossed in.
