I received a free ARC of this book, through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is a hard one for me. There are parts of the book that I really liked and I did like the story, but the layout of the book, especially the timeline of which things happen was just not working for me. It’s impossible to expand on this thought without giving spoilers and I don’t want to do that. I think some people will very much like it and I don’t want to ruin it for them.
It’s a no cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA romance, with some okay sex scenes, but I felt that even those were a little rushed in how they developed. There was what I felt normal progression in a new bdsm triad, however the speed at which that progress takes place just left a lot missing for me.
The easiest way for me to describe it..... If you were comparing the reading of this book to reading the alphabet, I felt as if it went A-B-C-D-E F-Q-R-Y-Z. A lot of things in the middle or 3/4 way book are just not there and as we know, you can’t build a correct sentence without all the letters of the alphabet.
The published edition of the book also contains a free peak, the first chapter of another book by the same author. I read it thinking this book was just maybe not to my liking, but in the first chapter of the additional book, I could tell that although the story started a little differently, it was going to mirror this one. Sorry, just not my preference.

My first book by this author & unfortunately I wouldn't be in a hurry to read more.
I found it hard to believe that Daniel had been pining for Bridget for years but was quite happy to share her with his twin, who appeared from nowhere & hadn't been mentioned at all! I definitely didn't like the repeated use of the awful C word & I don't really know much about bdsm but some of the scenarios seemed abusive as they didn't really listen to her worries or reservations.
Definitely not my cup of tea

For three years, Daniel Armstrong has wanted the beautiful, fiery Bridget Kelly. But when he sees her at Houston’s premier BDSM club and realizes she has an interest in submission, his determination reignites. A charity auction provides a means for him to possess her and do good at the same time. Who could resist? Focused solely on Bridget and the decadent delights he intends for her, he outbids everyone to claim her.
I was really disappointed in this book. Not that I’m expecting a whole lot of in depth characterization, but I didn’t like Bridget’s personality. I didn’t like how she reacted with the other characters and she seemed to switch from one personality to another.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book

I really like Sierra Cartwright’s books and this one is no different although I did struggle at times with the heroine, Bridget. On the whole though it was hot and steamy with great characters and a good storyline.

Interesting story. Love the personalities and how they fit together. Literally. Would love to see more about this triad in another book.

Double Trouble is a ménage story that, while sexy, is lacking a strong emotional connection between the three characters, and one of the heroes is pretty unlikable.
Bridget is a busy bar owner who has been pursued by successful banker, Daniel, for three years, but she's always turned him down because something about him gets under her skin. When she sees him at a local club and the dom in him realizes her submissive tendencies, he becomes even more determined to have her. To that end, he colludes with her sister to get her to enter a charity auction, in which he bids on, and wins, a weekend to be spent with her at the soon to be opened B&B/events hall he and his brother own. When she finally runs out of excuses to not spend the weekend with him, and she arrives, she finds out Daniel has an equally gorgeous and dominant twin brother, Jacob, with whom she and Daniel will spend the weekend exploring all their fantasies.
Normally I'd be all for a sexy MFM ménage story, but in this case I just could not connect with it. Yes, it's hot, but beyond that, there's not much to it. In order for a ménage to be successful, the emotional connection between the three characters must be equal to, or stronger than, the physical, and here in Double Trouble, that just is not the case. Daniel claims to have been obsessed with Bridget for three years, but I didn't believe that for a second. Do I believe he wanted her? Absolutely. Obsessed with her? Loved her? Not even a little bit. Add in the fact that he was kind of a jerk and yeah, I was turned off his character a lot. And then there's Jacob. I found him to be the nicer of the two twins, but considering that he had known Bridget for a weekend, I can't believe that he felt as strongly for her as Daniel claimed to feel for her. Ugh. Double Trouble is just an excuse for a bunch of lightly kinky threesome steam. There's no genuine love, no strong feelings, nothing passionate and loving at all. Such a disappointment. If you're looking for a well balanced ménage, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you only care about the steamy stuff, then Double Trouble may be for you.

Daniel has been obsessed with Bridget for a time know. The time has now come that he can get her and can take what he so wants which is her.
Bridget has offered herself up for a charity event with a difference and well Daniel seizing the opportunity he buys her with serious plans to have her for the whole weekend and not one moment will pass without some hot smoking fun.
She knows that Daniel is a strong man and a confident Dom who would have handled her in the past but she has tried her best to stay well away from him.
But see Daniel has so much more in store for Bridget that she could have ever thought of in the shape of his Twin brother David.....
Two hotties for the price of one mmmm delicious right.
This book was hot hot hot I Loved it.

The storyline itself is very hot, with scenes of BDSM and erotica. If you can get over the guys being brothers, you will definitely enjoy the menage aspect. It is all MFM.
Overall, the plot is hot and the story is definitely delicious.
This is good for a quick read in between books. It just did not have the punch I thought it would.

Double trouble, double the fun. Very good, enticing BDSM story. I was hook from beginning to the end.
I received this copy from Netgalley for an honest review that is entirely my own.

I not only loved the plot and the way the story developed but the hotness of it. It brought out the emotions of all the characters. The highs and lows of each one. There is just something about loving someone who wants nothing to do with you and then finally they see you for who you are. These three main characters go through some ups and downs as they find their way to happiness and love.

“This time, he won’t take no for an answer.”
This is not the way to start any book.
A bartender is tricked by her sister into putting herself into a charity auction. The sister knows damn well there’s a rich guy who wants her, so she’s basically pimping her out for donations.
The story had barely started and I already hated this mother-fucker. He’s a sadistic dom, but luckily—and conveniently—she turns out to be a closet sub. Then his brother appears. . .
The descriptions of the renovated mansion are tedious. I skipped them; not here for architecture. Other than that, this is excellently written, with plenty of genuinely funny moments, particularly in her introspection. My favorite parts were the amazing lead female character and the intriguing sex scenes. The only downside for me was the lead male character at the beginning, but even he got better. Even the sister got better, though I would have never forgiven her.
3.5 pushed up to 4/5

A really good easy read. It took me a while to get into it, but overall I mostly enjoyed it.

Not sure about this one. I liked it first, but then it just bored me. The author created drama when there was really none to be had. Then we jumped from I feel rejected to let’s get married? Huh? I am confused. He thought the worst of her but wants to spend the rest of his life with her. You don’t know her well enough and that is why your accusation was wrong. Duh, dude! Also she just accepted everything about BDSM without question or second thoughts or heck no. Oh I am scared is her reaction. I am sure there are people who take to it like ducks to water but that just seems like a huge mental and emotional jump to make. They never set rules and what was punishable what was not it was all up for grabs.
It was ok I guess nothing thrilling,

Double Trouble
Sierra Cartwright
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another great book by Sierra Cartwright.
This is a ménage romance with some BDSM scenes. Loved the story and how everything ended with the characters. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

What is hotter than a hot Dom that won't give up on getting you in his bed, try to two hot Doms. Both who happen to be twins. Daniel will do anything to have Bridget including share her with his bother Jacob. With a little help from Bridget's sister, Daniel gets the chance to claim the submissive inside Bridget.

Double Trouble by Sierra Cartwright is the story of Daniel Armstrong and Bridget Kelley.
Daniel has really be obsessed with Bridget for a while. But now there has come a time that he can get her and he takes it. Bridget offers herself up to charity event and Daniel 'buys' her with plans to have her for the weekend. Bridget knows that Daniel is a strong Dom who would handle her but still she has tried to stay away from him. Daniel has more in store for Bridget via his Twin brother David.
This was a pretty hot story along with some misunderstandings...overall enjoyed it.

Bridget, Daniel, and Jacob...what can I say? They were hot! Daniel has been pining for Bridget for a few years, but she continues to turn him down because of his playboy ways. But from afar she is intrigued by him. Then she sees him in a BDSM club that her friend begs her to attend and she is knocked for a loop with her feelings towards him but does nothing about it. Then, during a fundraiser run by her sister, she is auctioned for a date. And who wins her? None other than Daniel. He buys her for a whole weekend getaway. He saw her at the club, too and would love to be her Dom. But to her surprise, he is not alone. His twin brother comes with the deal. So Bridget puts off the trip until finally giving in to her deep desires to try domination with two men. And the three venture into teaching Bridget submission. This is an instant falling in love triangle. The story line is good and did I mention hot? Whew!

Daniel has wanted Bridget for years and when she is auctioned off for a charity effect he won’t let the opportunity pass him by. Bridget is attracted to Daniel but doesn’t think he is the right man for her, now they will be spending a weekend together and Daniel has a bit of a surprise, his twin brother. The story is fun and entertaining and the sex is off the charts hot. I loved it!

Double the action with Double Trouble!
Bridget Kelly volunteered to help her sister by being a bartender at a charity auction when her sister enters her into the fundraising auction for a weekend date at Northall Farm without telling her ahead of time. The winning bid was won by Dom Daniel Armstrong who had wanted her for several years but she had put him off and put her time and efforts into building up her bar that she co-owned with a friend.
The date finally took place at Northall Farm which he co-owns with his twin brother when she couldn’t find any more excuses to postpone it. What Bridget didn’t know was that Daniel’s twin Jacob was identical and he was interested in Bridget also!
Sierra Cartwright always writes very, very good erotic romance with BDSM but her stories work for me even without any erotic part to them. Definitely add Double Trouble to your list that erotic romance readers need to read.

Wow. This was a really good book. First off, let me say that is a book involving BDSM and a threesome. There is no sex between the two men, though. But if this isn’t something that you like, please go no further. But if it is something that you like, then you are really going to enjoy reading this book. Bridget’s sister is in charge of the charity auction and forces her to participate in the auction. She’s bought by Daniel who has been interested in her for a while. These are two determined men who make her every fantasy come true. They help her learn things about herself that she never knew. But she knows they aren’t serious about her. Or are they? This was such a good book. The sparks were flying all weekend. I think the author has a hit on her hands with this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley
