Erected was a fun read. If you are looking for a book that is quick to get through & with lots of sexy time- Erected is for you.

The story was ok- I wish the characters were developed a bit more. Ness was entertaining in the begining but started to annoy me a bit the more I read- she was so wishy washy.

That being said I truly liked Erected & look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Erected is hot. Josh met Vanessa (Ness) one night after a successful business dinner. She was outside the restaurant freaking out, thinking her new car had been stolen. Turns out it had been towed, not stolen, and Josh, in a swoon worthy white knight moment, offered her a ride to the impound lot where her car was being kept. These two lead each other on a merry (and not so merry) chase to an HEA, because both of them, especially Ness, had serious trust issues due to past relationships.

I ended up liking Josh, a lot, but Ness not so much. She was in her head too much, and left it almost too late before she took her head out of her rear. There was a lot of heat, too much, actually, that masked their communication problems, and it was really frustrating. They spent too much time in the bedroom and not enough time really talking and getting to the heart of their major problems. I was starting to get really annoyed with Ness' hot and cold, wishy washy attitude, and it was wearing on me (and Josh). So much so that by the end, I just wanted the whole thing to be over.

If you want something short and hot, Erected should be on your TBR list. It's not as well developed as I had hoped, but for what it is, it's OK.

Nice regular corporate love story.
Quick read.
I usually prefer something more in depth but for a quickie it was good.

A fantastic start to a new series, I really enjoyed Josh and Vanessa's/Ness story these two meet when she thinks her new car has been stolen he helps her out and she invites him to dinner, she has more problems on her way there and he helps her again these two have great chemistry but neither one is sure about starting a relationship this was a good quick read and i enjoyed it

I just could not get into this book. The dialogue tried to include too much detail and too often became a stilted conversation. Hard to finish.

This was a very quick read. I guess I was expecting a full length novel, not a novella. I would have rated this higher had it not been for my dislike of Tess and the abrupt ending.

Tess thinks her new car has been stolen, so when Josh hears her screaming, he comes to her rescue, maintaining his white knight profile. He goes all out to help the crazy lady. Seriously, she was a really big klutz, had the worse luck, and wasn't very nice at that. I don't see why Josh liked her since her attitude was a turn off. She may have been a VP, but her attitude made her seem immature. She's had nothing but bad relationships in the past, so she automatically lumps Josh in with the group.

Josh is an architect of a popular family construction firm. He's been burned in the past by women who only want him for his money, so he doesn't quite trust Tess. He more than proved himself in the end. I really liked his character, just wish he had a better leading lady.

This is the first book in this series by this author. This is a fun read with amazing characters. This is a quick read which will leave you wanting more. This book is full of hot and steamy scenes which set the pages alight as you read. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.

This was a sweet, sexy, sassy, steamy story. I enjoyed the dynamics of each personality and what it took to get them there.

This was a very short story which is why I gave it 4 stars. I wanted a bit more. The ending was sweet, but I felt like there could have been so much more prior to that ending. I did enjoy the story as a whole and the characters nonetheless.

Joshua McMann is a man that once loved and became broken. Vanessa Bowen is a woman that's works hard and doubts men. She's been messed with in the past by men that really didn't care for her. This was the story of their meeting and falling in love.

I enjoyed reading about the two of them because they definitely were a cute couple. They both had their own obstacles to deal with, but they persevered through it and found each other in a healthy relationship. I adored the steamy scenes between them.

Totally recommend for a quick read.

Loved the chemistry between the two and loved the authors writing style! One of the easiest reads that I've had in awhile. A few typos, which frustrates me for any book, but seems to be the norm for digital books these days. However they were simple "typos" and not mistakes that made it hard to read the whole story, as in some books.

I enjoyed that the book flowed along easily, not slow, but also addressed that each character had their own lives, no unrealistic setting of nobody having to go to work for weeks. Both characters had baggage, but realistic baggage that many people have, not high drama or any parts that were hard to envision.

What I really loved about this book was that the chemistry was good, writing style great, good scenes (sex or not).

The one thing that dampened my excitement a little was that through the whole book, again believable story, but the ending although HEA, was too rushed and anti-climactic, killing the "realness" of the rest of the book. Will definitely read more by this author!

Ness is a successful business woman but her luck with personal relationships is lacking. Josh is a success as well and is worried woman only want him for his money. The attraction between them is definitely there but will their trusts issues get in the way? This is a fast-paced read with plenty of drama. I liked the characters and the sex is steamy. A good read.

I love the true emotions portrayed between Ness and Josh. How he takes care of her even when she pushes him away and they both bare their souls to each other and still fall in love is amazing! I felt the attraction between them the entire time!

A very quick read. but a ton of Hot, Hot sex! ;)

Erected by Desiree Holt is a captivating and fun erotic romance. It's well-written and the characters stole my heart. Ness and Josh seem like normal, average people that you might know in real life, BUT they have each had a string of bad relationships and have decided to close themselves off so they won’t get hurt again.

I love the emotional connection these two characters have. They are strong willed and explosive when they come together.

When you want a romance that will singe your fingers, Erected is the book for you. ^-^

Book was well later out, fast paced BUT it was paced evenly and not rushed. Characters are likable, no cliffy and it’s an HEA.

I look forward to reading more from this author.

Erected Desiree Holt is book One in the "Erector" series. This is the story of Josh McMann and Vanessa 'Ness' Bowen. Ness and Josh both have trust issue and have been burned badly by other relationships. Ness starts off pretty upsetting and shrieking when we and Josh first meet her. It seems Ness has been through a trying few days and now she thinks her car has been stolen. Josh who comes forward to help her but Ness still acts harshly to him. But they are attracted to each other and have to work to build trust between the two of them. Overall a good story and would read more from this author.
