Desiree Holt never fails to deliver a great story with HEAT! Enjoyed!!!

Erected is fun read with amazing characters.Josh is sex on a stick, rich, gorgeous, tall and fun.He feels destined to never know what is truly in a woman’s heart, because he believes all they ever see is his pretty face and his thick wallet. He's the gentleman and always helps those in need. He keeps an emotional distance from the women he dates.Ness sees Josh as a player, and she’s been dumped by men like him.Josh has his own issues, having been burned by women interested only in his money and power. The book is amazing. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.

Loved this! Couldn’t put it down! I Consumed it!! Amazing read, highly recommend reading

3 1/2 Star Review.....
Erected is an enjoyable read with a fun storyline, interesting characters (yes, they have hang-ups) and true to any Desiree Holt tale, a ton of Hot, Hot sex! Maybe not as good as some of Ms Holt’s other books, but a entertaining, quick read.

Vanessa has had bad luck with men, so now she’s afraid they will turn into jerks like all the rest. She is independent, beautiful, and vice president of marketing and public relations for an electronics company. She was in a car wreck and broke her ankle. She’s at a business dinner and discovers her brand new car is gone. While she is freaking out, she meets Josh.
Josh and his brothers own a development and construction company. He is handsome and very rich. Josh has had bad luck with women, they only see dollar signs when they look at him. So he’s a little gun shy too. He helps her out several times and he slowly starts to chip away her walls. If they want a relationship, they both have to reveal their secrets and trust each other.
Great story. Couldn’t help but to laugh a little. The sex scenes were hot. Both needed to quit judging people by others mistakes.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for netgalley *

I received an ARC of this book. This book seemed like it was over before it even began. I enjoyed the story and wished there was more too it. I thought maybe there would be a twist in the story of when he was gone a picture of him and Juliane would resurface and make the story even more heart tugging bit that never came. I will be looking for Tyler and Alexes stories for sure.

I'll start by saying I'm not sure how I missed Erected by Desiree Holt before, but I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series. I liked the dynamic between the three brothers, Josh, Tyler, and Alex. The way they look out for each other is believable.
I enjoyed that Vanessa isn't waiting for her Knight in Shining Armor though she secretly wishes one appears soon and sweeps her off her feet. She has trust issues and so does Josh, but they each have valid reasons for not wanting to give too much too soon. They've been burned before, and if whatever is going on between them doesn't pan out, the less romantically invested they are, the better it will be--or so they think.
Needless to say, they find a way to work out the challenges they face and accept that in order to move forward they have to learn to trust each other.
There were a few things I found repetitive and not necessary, such as every time Vanessa reminds herself she's a VP of Marketing at a top firm and needs to act the part with Josh. As a reader, I knew this from the get-go, so I didn't feel I needed to be reminded throughout the story. The same goes for Josh and his bit of history with Jiliane.
Overall, this was a fun, short read and like I said, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.

If I had to base my review on the last third of the book, it would be 4 stars, but the first third would be one star, and the middle was okay
Vanessa meets Josh when she thinks her car is stolen, she is mean and abrasive to those around her, and I hated her in that moment. She wasn't acting overwrought, she was mean to people for no reason. She is short with Josh, but not mean, and he stops her from being even more crazy than she is. She continues to be mean to him, for no reason, and it doesn't feel like a defense mechanism, it doesn't feel nice. He keeps at her, and wins her over. She drops her guard, and while he doesn't show any sign of it, apparently he has some issues as well
He keeps trying, she starts trying, and things work out with them, but both are waiting for the other to screw things up. Their attraction to each other is strong, and it takes over at times they should be talking. Next thing we get, they are six weeks into a relationship
His brother is a dick to her, and he finally admits his deep seeded problem, and then she admits hers. I like her by this point, but am kind of sketchy on him. If this problem bothered him so much, he never showed it to her. They almost lose it all, and then pull it all together. They work together, and are perfect for each other
I stuck with the story, but putting up with Vanessa at the beginning was hard. Luckily she rectifies herself, and comes across as hurt, rather than evil

Sexy start to a new series
I'm always excited about starting a new Desiree Holt book. Her characters are always realistic and her plots interesting. Ness and John have both been carrying around commitment baggage. It was great seeing them acknowledge the past and learn to trust and move on to the future. The plot line also introduced us to Josh's 2 brothers. I look forward to reading their stories.
I received an advance reader copy from NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

I thought this story was well written and entertaining. The characters had everyday relationship hangups and issues and worked to overcome them.

Erected is book 1 in the Erector Set series and I must say I really liked this one! Josh and his brother have worked hard to get themselves and their business to where it is but not without issues. Ness is a woman climbing the corporate ladder in a man’s world and she has had her fair share of heartbreak along the way. Both have a past that put a shadow over the future so when their worlds collide and connection is undeniable will these two be able to move out of the past and into the future together.
Erected is a great start to this series and I look forward to reading more
