The author is extremely knowledgeable on pressure cooking which is very reassuring. However the recipes are aimed more at the American market so a lot of them just didn't appeal to me. As a beginner I am interested in using one for saving time and effort at mealtimes and being able to cook meat from frozen, so many of the chapters such as breakfasts and sandwich fillers just didn't appeal to me. I was a bit disappointed that jars of pre-made sauces are used in some recipes. It is probably just not what I was looking for however it would be an excellent book for someone looking to use their pressure cooker for all sorts of things, and for those with a little more experience with them. Good Luck with it,
