This book is very resourceful and it's a great help and guide for anyone working with children and would love to know more about anxiety in children.
I was interested in this book because Mental Health is yet to be explored and more so, highly prioritized in my country. I'll be constantly working with children and reading this has challenged my thinking in handling situations and that's impressive. Thank you NetGalley for the eARC.

I have a long history of working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. I have also conducted parent groups. This book addresses the importance of understanding feelings and offers assistance with group therapy planning and activities. This manual would be perfect for new facilitators and seasoned ones.

Whether you are a parent or not this is a helpful book. I consider it good for anyone working with children too, such as teachers and camp counselors. It give more details on anxiety and how to help or at least understand to assist in interaction.

This guide provides advice regarding the best ways to tweak group therapy sessions to meet the needs of ASD individuals with high anxiety. It offers guidance for selecting both group leaders and group members, group meeting locations, and how to effectively involve parents or caretakers in the treatment to help build a "tool box" of techniques to combat anxiety, which is often at the heart of behavioral issues for children with ASD.

This guide is extremely well written, concise, and provides references in the back that can be used in your practice.

This was a thorough and helpful training manual created for children with anxiety disorders, and especially those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. There is a wealth of information here, including how to set up groups, who to choose for groups, how to “invite” the child to the group, and inviting parents to group. All of the empirical information is included on how the study was completed, and in the appendices, all the materials are included as well. It is expected that group leaders would receive supervision when conducting a group on Exploring Feelings. This is a phenomenal resource, and I’m grateful for the chance I had to review it.

Thank you to the authors, Future Horizons, and Netgalley, for the opportunity to review this training manual.
