As part of a NetGalley promotion, I was sent "Still Me" by Jojo Moyes. Unfortunately for me, this was only a sample and not the complete novel, so this review is baed solely on the excerpt I was sent. This is the third and final part of Lou Clark's story, she of "Me Without You" and "After You" fame. The novel kicks off with Lou in the immigration queue in New York, having decided to make the bold leap to move to the Big Apple. The sample left me wanting to read the rest of the novel, which means the sample did its job. At some point, I will read the rest of Lou Clark's story. I really want a happy ending for her.

Thank you to Penguin and NetGalley for the sample in exchange for my unbiased review.

I love Jojo Moyes books and this is another great read continuing the adventure of Lou the wacky main characterr - if only I had realised that it was just a sample. Off I go to the shops!

I received the first chapter and absolutely loved it. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. Did she settle in America. What happened with the grumpy housekeeper? One chapter was not enough!

Still me, Still Lou, still her life has new unexpected curves for her.

So she arrives in NY, starts her new job, with it a new life and new habits. She is still friendly and helpful and sees everything through rose-colored classes. But it’s good, somebody has to be this profoundly positive. And then, once again, some not so good things happen to her. There is trouble with Sam, since long distance relationships really need a lot of work. And then she meets Josh and her heart and mind want to drive her crazy. And then her relationship with her employer goes wrong and she loses her job.

But it would not be Lou, if she would not find a hope in the most hopeless situation, if she would not befriend the most disagreeable old lady and her dog. And only she could jump into relationship with the most unsuitable person and inspire somebody else write letters that they thought they will never write.

Just as the previous books, this one also had humor and emotions and confusion. A wonderful ending to the series. I really do hope nobody expects more books about Lou, I would really like her to live her life outside the readers eyes from now on.

Good read!!

Brilliant so far I cannot wait to read the rest of the book. I have loved the whole series so far and am looking forward to reaching the conclusion of these books.

The third novel of Jo Jo Moyes trilogy featuring Louisa Clark. Louisa is about to start a new job in New York as assistant to a millionaire''s wife, leaving behind in England her family and new boyfriend. I look forward to reading where this new adventure takes her.

I have read the whole series and I would recommend this book. The first book was the best but one knows the characters so well now that you need to see the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed this excerpt, although I didn't realise it was only an excerpt until it was sent to my Kindle.

It's the third in a series. Having read the first two, I wasn't sure whether I'd read the third, but the magic of Lou Clark is still alive, and I have now read the whole book.

Interesting preview and I'd like to read the rest of the story but I can't post a review based on such a short snippet. Thank you anyway. Not entirely sure why publishers persist with this option. Surely it just annoys most reviewers... it seems to me that you just get invested in the characters and then it ends.

Loved the first book in the series... Me and everyone else of course! ... It was a hit for a very good reason - it was so good and it resonated with people.. The second book was good too but left us on a cliff hanger wanting to know what would happen next to Louisa as she prepared to go to New York.

This third book was enjoyable from the first page. I delighted in immersing myself in the story. I couldn't put it down.

I love this series and am desparate to find out what's going to happen to Lou next! Sounds like she's off to a really exciting start with this book. Now to read the whole thing, rather than just an excerpt!

Thank you Netgalley for the review copy.
Whizzed through this as I felt I was back with an old friend. Lou is a fab character and I would hope that if I knew her we would be the greatest of friends. The storyline was a little predictable with this one but I loved it all the same. Maybe its just me though and the mood I am in but I wish that it didn't have the ending it did - would have been much better if she had been single and doing her own thing - why do authors always believe that the heroine has to have a partner for it to end well?!

If you loved Me before You and After You, you’ll probably have been waiting to hear all about what Louisa Clark did next and Still Me will not disappoint. Lou has relocated to New York for a new chapter of her life and is determined to keep her long-distance relationship with Ambulance Sam alive across the Atlantic. Jojo Moyes knows how to make her readers feel like they’re living life alongside her characters and Still Me is no exception. We witness Lou mingling with New York high society where she meets Joshua Ryan and comes face to face with the past. Louisa is forced into a difficult moral predicament and you’ll be caught up in a whirlwind of uncertainty with her as everything she thought that she knew about herself is turned upside down. This is an engrossing read that will make you laugh, cry and tell all your friends to read it too. A sure-fire bestseller for 2018 and fingers crossed that we hear more about lovely Louisa in the future.

Hello again Lou Clark. Nice, to see you!
The 3rd (and final?) part in Jojo's trilogy finds Lou working in NY. Once again, some great characters, and a few not so great. We know Lou's looking for love, but is she looking in the right place? Great to see Lou hasn't lost her dress sense either.

I read and loved the first two books, Me Before You and After You. . This follows on and is set mostly in America. The descriptions of New York life are really interesting and the characters are totally believable. This was a really satisfying conclusion to Louise's story. I've recommended this to everybody I know.

This book was a highly anticipated wait for me to read and it certainly did not disappoint me at all. This was yet another read from Jojo Moyes that was hard to put down, from start to finish Still Me has moments that make the reader want to cry, laugh and shout as we follow Lou Clark in New York, trying to keep a long distance relationship going as much as enjoy her new life in New York Lou may have bitten off more than she can chew or has she.

JoJo Moyes doesn't disappoint with her new book - it isn't earth shattering but it is a great read and just write for readers who want to know 'what happened' next to favourite characters.
