An excellent cookbook with some lovely recipes. I would highly recommend.

Sadly, this sampler did not appeal to me nor make me want to buy this book.
It contained three recipes. The Baked Feta with Rye crisps neither sounded nor looked appealing and I felt the same about the Slow cooked Pork Belly with burnt Pear and Nutmeg. The third recipe Fig and Ginger Cheesecake, both looked and sounded appealing and is something I had made several times before. However, I will be sticking to my usual recipe which does not require the use of geletin (so is suitable for my vegetarian friends) and is also lighter in calories (not requiring double cream).

The netgalley download only gave three recipes, none of which were suitable for my fussy family unfortunately. However, the recipes looked interesting with east to follow instructions, and the layout was clear and attractive looking.

This sample of New Classics makes me want to buy the entire book, because I just love the sound and look of the few I read.

A great book for the home cook though some of the recipes were difficult

Delicious and mouthwatering dishes. Would definitely recommend and buy.

This was a great introduction and short sampler of some 'new classics'. This is the first time I have tried recipes by Marcus Wareing. The instructions were straight forward and the taste was delicious. I would definitely consider buying the complete book.

Love Marcus Wareing recipes so if this is any indication, I'd use this book.

Easy to follow, good food. Nothing too highbrow. Classic recipes, some with a chefy twist. Recommended.

I enjoy Marcus' character, friendly and open so this was a book I was looking forward to exploring. Not disappointed but as the title suggests, the recipes are mainly a new slant on what many of us already know.

Unfortunately I was not able to open this on any of my devices. I tried to download via kindle, phone and laptop. I love Marcus Wareing and always looking for new recipe books so disappointed to be able to give a review.

Absolutely lovely addition to my kitchen bookshelf. The recipes are great and the book is beautifully printed. Yes, printed as I went and bought a copy as I found the formatting of the Kindle version so poor. Tested recipes that you can trust to impress, what more could you ask for?

This is an interesting introduction to Marcus Wareing but the recipes weren't for me unfortunately. I'd get it for a friend as they like the recipes shown.

Definitely interested in checking out the full book.

Only a 6-page sampler so it is difficult to assess the whole book but the recipes given look mouth-watering and well explained, will definitely have a look in the bookshop to check if the other recipes are all enticing as the three examples given. A good sampler, will be checking for more...

Another great cookbook with great recipes. Made me feel very hungry going through this book!. Will buy the book as easier to use the real book when cooking. Thank you.

I enjoyed this book, lots of recipes to try, particularly like the quicker meals, ideal for after work, but lots to try on lazy weekends too!

In my opinion, you couldn’t really tell anything from this sampler. Would need the whole book to actually review anything

Unfortunately i am unable to open this sample on any of my devises

This is a sampler of 3 recipes. I am unable to give a review due to the fact that it is too short for me to give an unbiased opinion. The photos were a good quality.
