Heitz returns with another hearty slab of dwarven fantasy where axes clash and beards are gloriously untrimmed. This continuation of the Dwarves saga throws you back into the thick of battle political machinations and ancient grudges all painted with Heitz’s signature sense of scale and grit. Expect plenty of action brutal choices and more than a few moments where you will cheer out loud for your favourite stout heroes.

Despite its epic size the book rattles along with sharp dialogue and satisfying twists. If you are already a fan this is a glorious return to form. If you are new to Heitz brace yourself for an unapologetically classic fantasy romp with all the armour swinging glory you could want.

Could not really get into this one,I think thAt I have missed some,so could not connect to any of the characters at all . will maybe try earlier ones in series first and then retry this one at a later date.
