A gentle book about a group of strangers, who soon feel like friends. Lots of lovely characters in the choir and I felt I wanted to join them all for a cup of tea afterwards.

My first from this Author, but it won't be my last, a perfect gentle summer read for a holiday or time in the garden.

The Street Where You Live winds together the stories of people living in the same locality, some of whom sing in a choir together. Molly and her daughter Emily are both in the choir. Molly is a cleaner who works for most of the people whose stories are told, she is a widow who is missing her son, Emilys twin. In the book she strikes up a friendship with Clem, who has his own secrets. Christopher is the choir director who lives a quiet life but also is having an inappropriate dalliance with one of the choir members. Hos life is shaken up when the little girl who has moved on next door discovers a hole in the hedge and a love for his dog.
I enjoyed this book as I have with all from Roisin. The characters all have their own lives and secrets but they are all woven together in lovely ways.
Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and Roisin Meaney for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review

Another fantastic book from Roisin Meaney, I loved this book. Excellent storyline with plenty of twists and turns along the way. Interesting characters who I could empathise with. Well written, the characters come to life. This is a story of friendship, family, betrayal, romance and hope.

An easy book to read - perfect for a cosy afternoon on the sofa or as a holiday read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Roisin is one of my favourite authors and this one was just as good - I love the way she has such different characters but they all have their own voice

This is a book to get totally and utterly engrossed in.

I love Roisin Meaney's books, and this latest one is so good.

The characters are superb, you feel as if you know them all. All are interlinked and their stories cross over in some way.

It all takes place during that very rare thing, a heatwave in Ireland. Her descriptions are so realistic that I almost felt as if I was there, away from this endless winter!

I became particularly fond of Molly, such a kind and hard working person, who'd been through a lot in her life. Christopher too, when you get to know him and his story, is a very interesting character.

There are enough twists and turns and back stories to make this a compelling read. I was sorry when it was over.

Uplifting, captivating and enjoyable. A lovely read.

I was curious to read a Raisin Meaney book which is why I requested this title.
The story was OK, written well but I couldn't connect with it in the whole. The plot felt a bit mundane and slow.

A lovely story of the lives that are interlinked with our heroine, Molly following the story of her cleaning job, concert practice and family life. I enjoyed the story, nothing to heavy or emotional, just a really nice read which I enjoyed over a couple of days.
