A decent read. Fast-paced with an easy to read writing style. The world building was interesting and definitely something I wanted more of. I didn't realise this was a sequel until I had almost finished it, so I'm sure a lot of what confused me would make a lot more sense if I had read the book before.

Shadows is an enjoyable, fast paced read.
I just wish I had realised it was a sequel and I had first read the previous book, Movers before reading this. I can only imagine that I would have enjoyed it much more if I had.
If I do read Movers I will certainly revisit Shadows.

The book was not for me and i did not realise it was the follow up of a previous novel

Loved it. Fast moving time travel action adventure. Meaghan McIsaac has created a coherent and credible world, within its fictional limits. My full review is at Yakbooks.

Packed full of action and has a thrilling fast moving story. I hadn't read Movers so Shadows did take a bit of time to get into but when I did it was exciting and moved fast. This is a good read for middle grade to YA readers

I had not read Movers so it did take some time for me to understand the concept of movers and shadows. Once I did I was very quickly absorbed by the story and Patrick’s efforts to save his family and Gabby and get back to his time. I liked his relationship with his shadow, Bo, and how we gradually became aware of his back story.

Lots of action, really fast moving. I will definitely be buying both books for the library.
