I wanted to love this book. I had such high hopes for this! As a historian, these books are ones that I will stand in line for if I have to. Language does not bother me, bloody scenes do not bother me. But this book was one that I just could not get into. I read 60% of the book, and just could not get any further.
I may go back to this book in the future and give it another shot, but I was highly disappointed. It just did not live up to the "hype" as I hoped it would.
