I loved this book. I know people often say they couldnt put a book down, but in this case I really couldn’t - I went to bed and had to go downstairs and retrieve my kindle.
The story is the tale of a digital marketing expert, and an academic, an incontinent cat, and a bet. I dont want to give away any spoilers, but I will say that there are many twists and turns, lots of lessons to be learned, and a great deal of insightful observations made in this beautifully written, touching and humorous book. By the time I finished ‘One in a Million’ I felt as though I personally knew all the characters in the book, and i’ll miss them. This is definitely the best book I’ve read all year.
Had to give up with this one after a couple of chapters. I’m very obviously not the target audience( which I imagine is probably the 14-19 age group. Way too many shrieking characters and no realism at all.
