Thank you for the opportunities to read this book. I have attempted it on a number of occasions but unfortunately I haven’t been able to get into it.

Very good thriller, different to a lot of books out there. Enjoyable read. Would recommend the book and author

Though you can tell from the author's background she definitely know what she's talking about, this technology-esque thriller just didn't do it for me.

I just couldn't connect as the emotional connection was sacrificed for science.

I did not realize that this book had a sci-fi underlying thread, which is not really my preferred genre. I am however very glad I did try this book out!! It was such an entertaining read, I will look forward to more by Ms Child!

A decent thriller. Not entirely enthralling but a good experience and keeps you guessing throughout. Is predictable for thriller readers.

This was an interesting and chilling read that is a must read for those who love Black Mirror, You and Her.
Well written and a quick read; you won't put it down until you have all the answers.

I've noticed a trend where a book's blurb will hook me with something really unique and interesting that then, when I read the book, turns out to be a background feature that fades away for something else to take precedence. I wanted more of the virtual assistant, which is what hooked me in the first place.

Apologies, I forgot to download this and missed the reading period. I usually download as soon as I'm accepted and I'm not sure why this one slipped through. So sorry.

I am not a huge fan of technology, but the whole virtual assistant thing made me ask for this book. When you think about it, it can really be a wonderful thriller, with a hidden person feeding information etc.
Freya is thrilled about her new virtual assistant, a bot who knows everything about her, the information being fed via a cloud. Freya has one weakness- her dead sister. As the virtual assistant slowly turns herself into Freya’s dead sister, Freya starts to believe that her sister exists, especially because the assistant knows things more than it should know.
While Freya is the protagonist, the plot is driven mainly by the virtual assistant, who FYI, is super creepy. But then as the story progresses, Freya takes the center stage as it is her who has an unbearable loss and is looking for a closure.
Everything About You has a promising writing. There’s a plot with twists, characters who are engaging and there’s a visible development. I, however, felt that something was always missing. The ending was quite predictable and I read it only because of the world building and the sci-fi aspect, which was pretty decent.
Everything About You is a techno-thriller that has a chilling premise, complex relationships, and a downright creepy virtual assistant.

I rarely stop reading books but I just couldn't get into this at all. The characters annoyed me and I found the technology juxtaposed with what appeared to be modern day somewhat jarring.

Great storyline with good strong characters. Very well written. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I really enjoyed this book, it's a fantastic mix of science fiction and thriller. I love thriller books but I'm not usually a huge fan of sci fi, however when I heard of a virtual assistant being featured in a thriller book, I was right on that. It was a refreshing change to thrillers, which do tend to be quite similar (however I still always read them!)

What a wonderful read. Having only recently watched the Black Mirror series on Netflix I was well in the mood for this high tech take on what is loosely a missing person thriller. I read so many books I’d forgotten the ‘back blurb’ when I started this so had no idea what to expect and I must admit I very nearly stopped reading [after the prologue] within the first chapter, thank goodness I didn’t. Just like the stories & technology in Black Mirror, this is not too far-fetched and could well be our reality in not so many years. Scary indeed. Our protagonist is the very endearing Freya who with the help of her virtual PA wants to find out what happened to her sister. Add to this a porn obsessed ex, technology that can literally be your life 24/7 (if you want) and the intriguing virtual reality world that Freya enters and you’ve got yourself a cracking debut. Highly entertaining and absorbing.

There's something quietly compelling about "Everything About You."

Freya is given a state of the art smart system that takes on the personality of her missing foster sister, Ruby. Can the AI solve the mystery of what happened to her?

Set in the near future, Child paints a believable picture of where technology may be. While I found the ending to be a little abrupt, overall, it was an interesting exploration of our relationship with technology and whether an over reliance is a good thing.

Definitely recommended for those who prefer character driven sci fi thrillers.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

In a nutshell; Freya is trying to find her missing sister.

Being a thriller and sci-fi fan, I absolutely loved the blend of a thriller set in a high tech world.
I really enjoyed this book, it definitely stood out as 'not the usual thriller'. What put me more on edge was although this is set in the future how long will it be before every single aspect of our lives is monitored... if it isn't already.
I really enjoyed this hybrid blend of genres. Definitely, recommend for fans of both sci-fi and thriller!!

Freya gets an Alexa-like virtual assistant and it takes on the personality of her missing sister. The idea is quite interesting and has definitely put me off some of this smart technology but the novel could have been executed better as it didn't really hold my attention. The book is written in the third person which I think stopped me from fully connecting with it.

I think if you’re into hi-tech, virtual reality, science fiction, this may be the book for you. However, I just couldn’t get into it at all. I found the pace sluggish and the main character irritating.

I really wanted to like it and so persevered for longer than I would normally, but, it wasn’t to be.

Thanks to Netgalley and Orbit books for the opportunity to preview this ecopy in exchange for this honest review.

The expectations were high and unfortunately it was not overwhelming in the end. I liked Freya and her way to search for the truth. But the story was just ok for me, it was not super thrilling or anything. Still a good read but not that kind you will remember for a long time.

I’m a big fan of VR, Games and such stuff. The idea of a futuristic assistant who really can interact with you was good. It’s all about the big question if it’s ok when everyone knows everything about you. How do they know and what will they do with the collected data’s..

But as I say, it was a good read but not that thrilling. Sorry to say.

It took me some convincing to read this one. The book's premise is intriguing, but the first chapters don't really build the atmosphere. Overall, I think this is an okay book, a good debut. I could consider reading the author's future works as I would love to see her develop her own style further.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. On the positive side, the idea was intriguing and the details about a future world being ever increasingly controlled by technology was fascinating. However I found the story very slow, the characters hard to engage to and the ending was underwhelming.
