Excellent collection of horror short stories for a leave-your-light-on evening.
There are 23 stories altogether and it's a good variety which also touches the fantasy and science fiction genre at times.
I will definitely look out for Volume 1 and 2 of the series.

A creepy and fun collection of stories by a very talented author.

Honestly, there isn't a bad one in the bunch (which is rare in these collections). Maybe one or two rather weird ones... but mostly a really strong collection.
Many are complete stand-alones but for others there are themes which pop up throughout the stories and link them together. One particular theme was that of clowns - and everyone knows how bloody scary clowns are!

Probably my only criticism is that for me, some of the stories were a bit too short. Yes, I know this is a collection of short stories but there were a few I would have loved to have seen fleshed out a little more.

I'm not sure why this author isn't better known because he has a great talent of writing and I look forward to reading more of his work.

There is a really great balance of fun and fear throughout the collection, making it a very enjoyable read overall.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with ARC in exchange for an honest review

If you like macabre, weird and strange short stories that leave a shiver down the spine then this collection may well be for you. But if you have a fear of spiders or clowns then think very carefully for this could lead to some sleepless nights. This is volume 3 of the Malaformed Realities series and it contains 23 short stories of varied content. Some can be classed as supernatural and others are derived from science fiction or fantasy.

Of course everyone will have their particular favourite, for me it was the story of the man who takes the same car journey at the same time going to work each day. Then one day on this journey things start going dramatically amiss and he his plunged into a surreal world quite outside the human experience. I have read quite a few such horror anthologies and this is one that is certainly up there with the best and I'm sure will be greatly enjoyed by the lovers of the genre.

What a creepy read. I enjoyed all of the stories in this collection. I will look for other books by this author. I recommend it.

I have never read a book like this before so really didn't know what to expect. I enjoyed most of the stories but did skip the clown one as it didn't keep my interest.
On the whole I would recommend this book as the stories were short and entertaining with enough horror and suspense to make them interesting.
