This was a fun story to read! The story is fast paced and there are a lot of twist and turns that kept me wanting to read the page and find out what happens. We usually don't get to see much of science fiction, space travel plots in middle grade books, so I really enjoyed reading this book. I especially liked the cat's character.

Something my nephew will love when he gets a little older. It’s plot is engaging and fun while the language used is perfect for an MG.

This is a good chapter book for younger readers. It is full of adventure and action. Arthur goes on a quest for a mysterious artefact and gets involved in top secret government business.

An interesting twist on the science fiction idea of a meeting between earth and an extraterrestrial civilization. The hero, Arthur and his cat are thrown into the world of science when they find n artifact that only they (together) can activate. There is a real sense that this relates to plots from writers such as Ann McCaffrey with their meetings between civilizations. The general premise of this was good, but I felt it needed some adjustment to the pacing.
